21/09/2025: Nice little place, though nothing special. Good food, but I'd say the prices are a bit high. The quality-price ratio is poor, but it could be improved.

10/08/2025: Orecchiette was niet te eten. Was iets opgewarmd in de microgolfoven. Totaal geen smaak. Deed me denken aan een cup van Knorr, maar dan veeeeeel slechter. Wegblijven!

18/08/2025: Top location, beautiful rooms in all categories (even the standard category, and the upscale categories as well), delicious and plentiful breakfast, and friendly and impeccable service. Highly recommended!

01/08/2025: Room 4 is not recommended due to a strong musty smell. The hotel itself is beautiful and charming, but unfortunately my experience was not good. Room 4 had a terrible musty smell, both in the bathroom and in the room, as you can see in the video. The bathroom towels were also impregnated with that smell. I only spent one night there and ended up with a headache from the strong smell. Even though it's a grotto, that doesn't excuse the smell: it's the owners' fault for not solving the humidity problem. The lady at the front desk doesn't speak English, French, or Spanish, only Italian, which makes communication difficult if you don't speak the language. Important: If you're coming with a stroller, have limited mobility, or simply don't like walking, this hotel is not for you. You can't get there directly by car or taxi; you have to walk along cobblestone streets. Tip: Don't wear sandals or shoes with smooth soles. The stones are very slippery. It's best to come with sneakers or hiking shoes. In short, the hotel is nice, but I don't recommend room 4. The humidity is too strong and the smell is very unpleasant.

09/10/2025: The food was very poor and the prices were unjustified. Sandwiches were basically just bread, but they cost €7-8.

26/09/2025: The staff was disorganized and unaccommodating. We waited forever...then we had to serve ourselves. Paid €15 for three coffees and three industrial-strength pastries. Amazing place, but it leaves a lot to be desired.

07/10/2025: Horrible! We witnessed an employee yelling at elderly customers, telling them not to sit on the bench outside because they had ordered a takeaway espresso inside. Outside, everything was still empty and not very busy. The elderly people were visibly shocked and immediately got up. This café certainly won't get our money! The name seems to have changed to Maracuja Lounge Caffè.

05/10/2025: Tea for 5EUR seems expensive , service charge is added
