09/05/2025: Great sandwiches, cheap and stuffed enough to get up from the table and roll away happy. You can eat outside, but you can feel comfortable despite the nearby market. Quality ingredients.

09/05/2025: Place AWESOME! We were in Matera for a few days and every day we visited Marisa (the owner of the place, whom I warmly greet :) to taste the DELICIOUS panini she prepared. We ate different ones, but my heart was won by the one with burata, prosciutto crudo and truffle salsa! A CULINARY MASTERPIECE! And I say this with complete seriousness. In addition, nice atmospheric music, generously poured wine - what more could you want from an afternoon meal in this beautiful city :)

28/04/2025: Unfortunately, apart from the location and the beauty of the terrace with arches and a wonderful view, the rest is disappointing. Expensive appetizer but with poor raw materials, especially the ricotta, tasteless vegetable meatballs, barely salvageable. The little fish in spicy sauce, even the famous calzone we didn't like. The first courses were rather insignificant, slightly overcooked pasta, tasteless pork ragù. The lamb was also dry, not cooked well. Friendly and fast service. Toilets acceptable. Average costs. We won't be back.

23/05/2025: Impeccable!! I enjoyed lots of very well-prepared Italian specialties. The servers were very kind and welcoming, and the restaurant is well-located in the heart of the troglodyte settlements!

22/05/2025: I read some serious reviews about this restaurant here. I can only think that these people were very unlucky. I found the atmosphere on the terrace very pleasant, the service was absolutely kind and courteous, the food very good and the price fair, in line with the prices charged in the region. The experience was so good that I went back the next day. Later I realized that most of the reviews were quite old, from years ago, so I think they are no longer justified. I recommend it.

03/06/2025: A unique experience...very well-kept place and studied cuisine that enhances the raw materials with absolute refinement. The girls in the dining room are friendly and never too set despite the many questions at the tables. Very honest bill...there were 3 of us...43 each with various dishes and 2 gin and tonics. Highly recommended if you want to get away from the "homemade" scheme.

01/06/2025: Delicate and original notes, each dish a unique experience, illustrated with great skill by the attentive and welcoming waiting staff. The view from the terrace was the backdrop to this interesting dinner among the sassi of Matera.

27/04/2025: Bel locale nel centro di Matera, cibo locale rivisto da cuoco molto competente anche se un po’ alti i prezzi ma la qualità è alta. Però non è pensabile di mangiare in locale di questo livello solo sul tavolo senza una tovaglia di stoffa e nemmeno una tovaglietta di carta. Questo è fortemente richiesto, per cui do solo 4 di punteggio !

A few steps from the historic center of Matera, when you enter you are surrounded by tranquility and the welcome of the girls with a smile, that moment of a tasty croissant makes you feel good, and you feel the aroma of a good coffee while sitting at that small table looking out at the city traffic, it feels like being in Paris for a moment, magic takes you everywhere with the right person. Excellent service, courtesy and above all hearing "Good morning, what do you want" is the simplest thing you want to hear. Finally, while waiting you can admire small handcrafted objects that change depending on the season, unique pieces that you can buy if you want and take with you, placing it at home, perhaps in the living room, to display, you can remember that moment and perhaps return again and replicate a new experience of a sweet taste. 11/05/2025: Wir haben uns für das Siebengangmenü entschieden und uns aus einer Liste die Gänge ausgesucht. Zum Anfang gab es etwas Fingerfood auf einem kleinen Modell der Stadt, dann kam der erste Gang - eine Gabel mit in Milch gekochter Pasta, mit Lauchzwiebel und Osietra Kaviar. Die Pignata 3.0 war Tatar aus Schaffleisch, mit Nduja-Sauce und Pecorino. Danach hatten wir zwei Pastagänge. Einmal Spaghetti Carbonara mit wildem Spargel und Zitrone, danach Orecchiette mit Rübe, Seeigel, Burrata und schwarzem Knoblauch. Die Hauptgänge die die wir gewählt haben, hatten es ebenfalls in sich. Spanferkel mit Hollandaise, Spinat und Bonitoflakes - großartig komponiert. Mein persönlicher Knüller war das Lamm. Hier gab es ein Dreierlei aus Roulade, Hirn und ein Kartoffel brulée mit Wasabi, eine irre Kombination. Zum Dessert gab es eine Zigarre aus Schokolade, Rum und Orange sowie den „Final Kiss“, ein cremig-schaumiges Dessert, das man ohne Besteck und mit einem Chanson auf den Ohren isst. Alles zusammen war es ein großartiges Erlebnis mit jeder Menge tollen Ideen. Der Service war dabei ebenfalls ein Element, der den Abend so besonders machte. Dazu gab es die Weinbegleitung und wir haben einige lokale Trauben und Winzer kennen gelernt. Großartig!

09/05/2025: Our first time in Matera was made even more memorable with the dinner at Vitantonio Lombardo Ristorante! Service right when one enters the restaurant was perfectissimo like what they call it in Italian! Every dish was not only creatively presented but allowed us to taste the flavours of the ingredients that the chef paired it so well with the sauces, the scent and even the music (for the Last Kiss) Donato who was helping us recommend our wine was exceptionally friendly and added some good laughters to our evening! Very pleased that we had a meal in this lovely restaurant!

06/05/2025: As an Asian visitor, I lined up politely, but the lady serving ice cream completely ignored me and instead let someone cut in front of me. I left the shop right away—it was such an unfriendly experience. If customers are going to be treated like this, they might as well put up a sign saying ‘international tourists not welcome.’

04/05/2025: I had confirmation of the low quality. Today is the last time they will see me. Last week I had ice cream: Ice cream WITHOUT FLAVOR... tasteless I asked about it and they told me it was good! It's normal that even if something isn't good, as a seller I pass it off as good Tonight I changed my mind and took the CRÊPES... what can I say, chewy.

27/04/2025: Nonostante non avessimo prenotato, ci hanno comunque trovato un tavolo per la cena. Il servizio è stato cordiale e abbassa rapido nonostante l'orario di arrivo. Piatto buoni e pezzi nella media
