10/05/2025: I love going to this place and do it often. The clean and modern place, the excellent service, not to mention the pizza, the first courses, the meat... the bruschetta, in short: you can eat divinely, anything!!!

03/06/2025: The place is difficult to reach because of the bumpy road and the risk of landslides, let's not talk about the appetizer that costs €14 and inside there are only 2-3 things that are mediocre. The first course (Sagne a pezze) tasted of nothing, the cured meats are almost acceptable. The mixed roast tasted of almost nothing and the portion of lamb was almost non-existent due to the insufficient quantity. If you are looking for a good place to eat, this is not the place for you.

27/05/2025: Very pleasant discovery in the small town of Palombaro, very friendly owner. A very welcome Prosecco and not covered in TNT, good appetizers with excellent quality products with local cheeses enhanced by a zero meter honey (beekeeper about 10 meters away). Mixed roast with good and abundant meat (with one we ate for two), very good fried potatoes, the roasted ones were normal; all served with a bottle of wine to match. Finally, the pizza doce is highly recommended, a typical Abruzzo dessert that few can make well, theirs is fresh and well made. Price largely in line with the norm for the quality of food and service. Recommended

31/03/2025: Appena all'inizio del bellissimo corso principale del meraviglioso borgo di Crecchio, si trova questo magnifico ristorante caratteristico, al piano terra di una bella ed elegante palazzina. Il locale è splendido, molto curato e pulito, composto da una piccola sala interna ben arredata, con stupendi piatti in ceramica e pitture su radici di alberi d'ulivo appesi ai muri e grande arco in mattoni, e una sala al piano superiore. Ci siamo accomodati ad un tavolo della sala, accolti da un addetto ai tavoli molto simpatico e disponibile, che ci ha spiegato alcuni piatti del menù. Per il nostro pranzo abbiamo ordinato i seguenti piatti: agnolotti del Re, chitarra reale, bistecca di scottona, pallotta casce e ova, verdure ripassate in padella, torta ricotta e pere, tiramisù, acqua, liquore della casa alle caramelle Rossana (omaggio) e 2 caffè: fantastico!!!! Tutto straordinario, gusto ottimo, materia prima di alta qualità e cucinata a regola d'arte: che dire, tanta bontà che ci ha lasciato soddisfattissimi!!! Servizio impeccabile e rapporto qualità/prezzo più che ottimo!! Proprietario molto gentile, con cui, durante la nostra permanenza, abbiamo avuto una piacevole conversazione. Sicuramente un ristorante super consigliato, un'esperienza da ripetere assolutamente!!!

30/03/2025: In the heart of the Byzantine village of Crecchio, the Taverna Ducale offers the opportunity to taste local dishes cooked with experience. We tasted the best cac'e ova balls in all of Abruzzo. Among the first courses we took little guitars and king's agnolotti. And for the second lamb...and what lamb!!! The innkeeper is a very nice character. At the end of the lunch he offered us a taste of some liqueurs... especially one with an unpronounceable name... let yourself be surprised!!!

13/05/2025: I do not recommend it as a first experience if you have never been to a trabocco. Small amount of fish served for a trabocco and the cost of the fixed menu comparable to any other place.

21/04/2025: Well structured place, some small adjustments to the lights, a touch-up of small repairs to the toilets. The food is good and fresh enough to reduce the salt a little to balance the flavor of the preparations.

10/03/2025: It should be noted that I have been there before, but I have always eaten meat or pizza and everything has always been good. At a dinner with friends we ordered fish and it was a nice surprise. It was all very good and fresh. We took: as an appetizer, oysters and seafood salad (very tender). As first: red and white seafood guitar and shrimp and courgette gnocchi. All generous portions and with the flavor of the sea. As second: mixed roast accompanied by salad. All very good. I recommend trying.

01/06/2025: The trofie with green bean and potato pesto were excellent, the roasted tomino with zucchini was delicate, the semifreddo with Avellino nougat was exquisite. My husband appreciated the delicacy of the pork. Recommended.

28/04/2025: Food is excellent but service was a bit slow. Can highly recommend this restaurant for the food. If you are ever in the area, you should make a point to stop in for lunch. You won’t be disappointed.
