07/08/2025: I'm thrilled to share my experience at this small agriturismo, a place that goes far beyond good food and warm hospitality: here, you truly feel part of a family. Each dish is prepared and served with love, simplicity, and a genuine passion that shines through in every detail. From the water to the liqueur, everything speaks of the joy of welcoming, the pleasure of making others feel good, and the genuine desire to share an experience. To anyone who passes through here, my only advice is this: let yourself go, feel at home.

05/08/2025: In the heart of Pollutri, we discovered this magnificent agriturismo/restaurant run with overwhelming passion by Francesco and Maria Concetta. Their cuisine is the most sincere and delicious expression of Abruzzo's tradition: simple, authentic dishes prepared with excellent, locally sourced seasonal produce. Every flavor tells the story of this wonderful land. Francesco and Maria Concetta are incredibly kind and welcoming, making you feel instantly at home, like family. A culinary and human experience we recommend to anyone near Vasto. If you're looking for the authentic flavors of Abruzzo and a warm welcome, L'Olivastro is a must-see. We'll be back very soon!

08/10/2025: Linda was exceptional. The Abruzzese food was top-notch, and the atmosphere was rustic yet very welcoming. I recommend it to all Abruzzese and those visiting from outside—it was a wonderful experience. We ate generous portions and paid just what we expected, or even less. We'll definitely be back!

12/10/2025: We went with some friends to eat snails and were really satisfied! As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with water and bread at the table, and after ordering, we were served a generous appetizer of local cured meats and cheeses. Then came the stars of the evening: the snails. Cleaned to perfection, cooked impeccably, and offered in two variations—with peppers, and with egg and cheese. Generous portions and excellent flavor. They also offered us the option of trying the pasta with snail sauce: truly excellent! To conclude, an exceptional bite. The ladies in the dining room and the owner were kind and friendly: attentive service that made you feel welcome. I absolutely recommend this place for a pleasant evening, in a refined and familiar atmosphere, pampered by excellent cuisine.

07/09/2025: Far from the quality it once was; they only cater to passing tourists, of whom there is no shortage. The air conditioning has been out of order for two days and there was no notice when booking. The pan of mussels and clams wasn't worth the price (€18). The octopus was overcooked. The fried food didn't contain what was ordered (red mullet and cod), but only four anchovies and the calamari were soft and therefore probably frozen. Prices were out of context.

14/10/2025: Parco dei Mulini has been a trusted favorite for several years now. I've been here often, even on different occasions (in the summer, the kiosk is open, you can eat outside in the heavenly temperatures, and the live music evenings are fantastic!). In the winter, they host indoor evenings, and the menus change based on events (the pizzas, in particular, are updated frequently!). Top quality in everything, from beers to main courses, all the way to dessert (made by the fantastic staff), and the pizzas are unparalleled: the best pizzas in the Ortona area and the surrounding area, even though we're in Crecchio. Generous portions and affordable prices. The owner is super. The place is beautiful, surrounded by the greenery of a charming former mill, and it's not uncommon to spot a few animals!

24/09/2025: Always happy to book. Relaxing place, even if it's always busy. The food, both meat and pizza, is always excellent. The beers are also good, with a wide selection. Good value for money.

11/09/2025: Always a hit. Fresh fish, well-cooked, excellent seafood chitarra. Special mention for the ricotta and black cherry dessert....Super!!!!

02/10/2025: The cured meats are excellent, and the meatballs are exceptional, while the pasta dishes could be improved. Good tiramisu. Local wines. Informal and friendly service in a charming little town worth visiting. We'll be back for a feast of meatballs.

09/07/2025: Finalmente un gelato di qualità, ho potuto degustare il gelato di crema antica con babà e visciole superlativo! A differenza delle gelaterie classiche dove sono solo i colori a fare da padrone per invogliare le persone a scegliere, qui c’è ancora il vecchio carretto dei gelati , dove c’è solo la qualità a farla da padrone! Se passate ad Ortona questa è una tappa obbligata! Complimenti ancora !

28/06/2025: The best ice cream shop in Ortona and one of my favorites in general! I tried the pistachio, ricotta and scrucchiata and Petralia salt caramel with praline peanut flavors, all superb! Never tried such a creaminess and flavor! The Sicilian granita is out of this world!! Very honest prices! New flavors that I fell in love with: sweet pizza and yogurt 💖

14/10/2025: Delicious, large pizza, light and easy to digest, and a wide variety of classic and specialty pizzas. I have some dietary restrictions, but they still satisfied me by making a pizza with only the ingredients I'm allowed, which is unusual. Next time I'll try the grilled meat. I highly recommend it.

20/10/2025: My mom and I were passing through Chieti, and after a day of traveling, we were exhausted! We decided to get some takeout and stumbled upon this place by chance: we never thought we'd have such a delicious dinner! The staff were incredibly friendly, and they delivered our food promptly. The portions were generous and the price was excellent. We'll be back.

11/10/2025: We called unexpectedly today, and even though it was 30 minutes before closing, they were so kind and helpful. We ate divinely: the ravioli and gluten-free pizza were truly superb, and the homemade cheesecake was truly delicious. But the jewel in the crown of this place, beyond the delicious food and excellent ingredients, is Franco, whose kindness and affability made us feel right at home.
