20/10/2025: The place is a bit dated. The food is excellent and well-prepared; authentic and genuine cuisine (you rediscover ancient flavors). The price/quality ratio is all in favor of the customer (believe me). My friends and I ate cod. Enjoy this wonderful experience. I highly recommend it. I'll be back for meat next time. 05/05/2026: I'm giving one star because zero isn't possible. I've been celiac for 12 years and I'm 25, so I know exactly how my body reacts to contamination. I went to this place for a graduation, trusting the gluten-free options offered. Unfortunately, immediately after eating the meat (accompanied by a suspicious sauce), I felt the classic, violent pain from contamination, which forced me to leave the party before dessert. The most serious problem, however, arose the following day. I politely called the place just to report the incident, so they could be more careful in the future. Instead of receiving an apology or even a modicum of professional understanding, I was verbally assaulted by the owner. I was arrogantly told that it was "impossible," going so far as to insinuate absurdities such as that I had brought gluten-containing food from home and eaten it on the sly, or that I had gorged on sweets (despite having left well before the cake due to my discomfort). I find it unacceptable that a restaurant owner, faced with a health complaint, would respond with personal insults and a total lack of humility. Even if the restaurant isn't certified, serving a celiac customer is a responsibility. I strongly advise against the restaurant for anyone with allergies or intolerances: the lack of food safety is matched only by the rudeness of the staff.

03/06/2026: Eight of us visited this restaurant and were truly satisfied. Even though it lasted past 10:00 PM, the entire staff was impeccable, always kind and helpful. Perfect service, excellent food, and great customer service. The pizzas were plentiful, delicious, and offered truly interesting gourmet options. A special mention for the arrosticini, both meat and liver: simply fantastic, cooked to perfection, and incredibly flavorful. Compliments to all the staff for their professionalism and courtesy. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

22/04/2026: After years of closure, Fictio is back. It's definitely no longer the venue managed by Max, where the live music lineup was top-notch, but I hope the new management of the cooperative can bring it back to its former glory. A youthful and relaxed management team can certainly bring this venue and the upper Chieti area back to a more vibrant social life after years of nothingness.

03/11/2025: It wasn't the restaurant's best performance; I've already experienced better ones. The kindness and hospitality are undeniable. Specifically, the appetizers were good but with some imperfections, poor quality oil, the first course was inadequate: tacconi and chickpeas with cod with too much onion, linguine with cod with little seasoning and meaningless, and the second course was cod with a sauce that was unimpressive. The dessert was poor quality, with creams that weren't homemade and tasted industrial. It's a shame, because on other occasions the quality has been higher.

05/01/2026: This place is wonderful; dining with this view is priceless, and now I understand the €5 per person cover charge! The food is delicious, and the service is very friendly! The prices are a bit high; there's nothing under €18! I would definitely go back; dining here was refreshing!

27/08/2025: An enchanting place with a truly unique atmosphere for those seeking a relaxing day. The sea isn't great, but along the entire coast, you shouldn't expect crystal-clear water. You can rent pedal boats for a tour of the bay. Behind the beach is a shady pine forest and a few playground equipment for the little ones. I highly recommend it.
