11/12/2023: Small, welcoming, warm place in the center of Gissi. Homemade cuisine carefully prepared by the owner's wife. A simple cuisine, like feeling at home, but definitely good. Abundant dishes, bottled wine at an appropriate price. Cold and hot local appetizers, guitar with ragù, truffle ravioli and a generous mixed roast, cooked under the tile as per Abruzzo tradition, the tender and tasty meat melted in the mouth. Homemade dessert, typical Abruzzo dogge pizza, truly delicious, coffee, bitters all included in the price, which in my opinion is really reasonable. Friendly staff, modest but familiar environment. Advised

the place is very nice, not very big but with plenty of seats both inside and outside, the food is really excellent, both the pasta (first course) and the meat (second course) (the meat is really fresh and soft)

24/08/2024: Definitely a hotel to recommend and return to as it is located just a few minutes from the motorway exit and close to many places to visit. The hotel has ample parking and not many rooms but amazing cleanliness. They are also very large, with a balcony and all comforts (including water in the fridge).
The only thing to improve would be the breakfast... at 9:10 we found almost nothing left and the donut was still frozen inside. Average prices. Very kind staff.
P.s.: the signs for the swimming pool also need to be improved... it's not clear if it can be used for free and at what times and conditions.
21/04/2024: Business lunch in the restaurant, large room with attentive service. Choice of quality food from land/sea, convenient and spacious internal parking.

18/09/2023: It's nice to go on holiday and feel like you're at home. Very kind staff, exceptional cuisine not to mention the location... count a hundred steps and you are a wonderful beach, very suitable for families due to the characteristic shallow water for long stretches of beach. Small difficulty (totally personal) having a dog that hates the sea and had to stay in the bungalow during the day as the patio was not fenced. Luckily there was air conditioning! A place we would happily return to!

23/08/2024: A very good restaurant where you can taste the local dishes of the Piane D Archi area. I must say that I found the cuisine excellent. I had some gnocchi with porcini mushrooms and white truffle. I would say exquisite if not fabulous. I fully recommend everyone to try to come.

14/08/2024: Place strongly not recommended. Bad location with chairs thrown here and there, unprofessional and unprepared staff... we had finished eating 20 minutes ago and the waiters came by 4 times without taking the dishes away, at the checkout the lady prints the receipt and gives it to us without saying anything. I got a pizza for celiacs but I don't recommend it since it is certainly for gluten intolerants but not for celiacs, needless to say I was sick afterwards.
Last thing I had to have the glass changed as it was already dirty when I arrived at the table.
12/08/2024: Restaurant with a wonderful view of the sea.
The food is very good, the pizza is good and the fried calamari is still good although a little dry; I recommend the mixed salad, the salad is very good and crunchy and the tomatoes are fresh too, and together with it they also bring you a very very good focaccia-like dish with quality oil on top
we were served for the entire duration of our stay at that restaurant by a young boy, perhaps Moroccan, who was very, very good because he was courteous and kind, quick and helpful, you could see that he was very committed to doing his best; while his fellow kids, I think they are all there to do an internship or something similar, did very little.
I then noticed that the, I think, owner of the restaurant took them back several times because they had been on break for a while (this is what I assumed from what I saw) and that they did little; but in any case, serious compliments to the boy who served us all evening, you could see that he was one of the few who took his job seriously.

10/08/2024: Bar in the historic center of Chieti. Period furnishings. Smiling and welcoming staff. I was struck by the noticeboard with the small bottles that were used in the 70s and 80s. They really have a lot of them. Characteristic place for an aperitif
