06/09/2025: With my trusty e-bike, I pedal toward Alba Adriatica, stopping briefly in Giulianova. My destination is Pineta Beach, a remarkable beach resort with a restaurant, where I happily return to meet the owners, Lara and Marcello, who are kind, courteous, and professional, and have long been among my best friends. I must also praise the efficiency of the entire staff. Now I'm sitting at the table and I plan to fully enjoy this day, especially because for the frugal but special meal, I'm relying on the excellent chef Adriana, whom I already know as the "grandmother of traditions." Today's specials are: "Seafood Ceppe" and "Fried Anchovies." And... enjoy your meal....

15/11/2025: I've been there several times. I must say the place is welcoming, the ingredients are excellent, the pizzas are tasty and easy to digest, as per the Neapolitan tradition. The place is modern, well-furnished, accessible to people with disabilities, with reserved parking for guests. The owner and staff are always very attentive and helpful. What can I say? I highly recommend it. TOP!

14/11/2025: For goodness sake 🤦🏼‍♀️ The lady was very kind, but the pizza chef should learn how to make pizzas!!! Rubbery, full of oil, and above all, indigestible!!! Terrible experience... I agree with another review complaining about the pizza chef's poor hygiene... he wears gloves for everything, even sweeping the floor! We definitely won't be back! If you want good pizza, go elsewhere!!!!

29/10/2025: I'd go so far as to say it's the best pizzeria in town. The crust is crispy and incredibly light, and the fried foods are delicious too (especially the arancini). The prices are incredibly affordable, especially considering the quality. Highly recommended.

25/04/2025: On our way back from a trip to Puglia, we decided to stop at this restaurant instead of the usual sandwich at the service station. Located in an industrial area, the place is frequented by workers. The owner is welcoming, but the atmosphere is a bit less so given its simplicity. The main course was good, with vegetables that I would have preferred warm. So far, so good; the problem lies in the lack of a menu and the owner's subjective interpretation of how she charged for meals. For this reason, I'm listing in this review the prices we were given, which absolutely don't justify what we were served. The first course, for example, was homemade "strozzapreti" pasta with traces of a sour sauce and rare pieces of ragù for €10 (in Polignano al Mare, right in the center, we paid €8 for a first course and it was superior). The second course was €13. All in all, it might be worth the price, but I doubt working-class customers can afford to pay that kind of money for their lunch break! A first course, two second courses, two glasses of wine, a Fanta, a bottle of water, and two coffees for a total of €53...an absolutely disproportionate amount for the location, the setting, and the food offered. Sometimes, being fair and giving your customers the menu prevents inequality among them and the risk of unpleasant reviews like this. Not recommended.

19/10/2025: Kind and welcoming owners; we were just on a detour after missing a highway exit, they had a big group celebration but accommodated us and served us promptly. Food was tasty and generous, especially the local grilled lamb and the lovely plate of homemade sweets

17/11/2025: A restaurant in the city center where we ate various types of arrosticini. Side dishes included: schiacciatina (a flatbread), wine, water, and cheesecake. The arrosticini were excellent, both with the liver and the traditional mutton. Prices were average. I recommend it.

25/05/2025: Una serata con amici e finiti per la prima volta in questo locale…antipasto la pizza la carne tutto buonissimo però peccato che non fanno la pizza senza glutine…da ritornare sicuramente

29/04/2025: Un'ottima pizza 🍕 quella offerta da La Lanterna. Base ampia e sottile, impasto leggero e digeribile, condimento adeguato. Di qualità anche i dolci 🍮. Bello il locale, comode le sedie e ampi i tavoli tondi. Un'arma a doppio taglio la presenza dell'area cucina e forno ♨️ a vista che rende l'ambiente piacevole d'inverno, caldo d'estate. Bene il servizio, prezzi abbastanza in linea con i tempi; difficile ormai uscire con meno di 30€ anche da una pizzeria (bruschette divise, pizza, birra 🍺 e dolce).

27/08/2025: High prices for a self-service restaurant. I ordered an appetizer, a fried dish, and a first course; the cashier suggested splitting the appetizer into two plates to share, saying it would count as one portion. When it came to the bill, however, it was passed off as two half portions, a little ploy to overcharge. After pointing this out, they refunded me €4, but the intentional attempt to inflate the price is clear. The total was €47, a high price considering the portions and the self-service (the fried dish, in particular, was very small). The food was good, but the quality-price ratio didn't justify the experience. Mistakes happen, but it seemed like a really nasty attempt to overcharge.

17/09/2025: Best place to eat in the whole region of Abruzzo, Italy. If you like fish you must try it! And the women who work there are very friendly and professional.

08/09/2025: A mini restaurant that also offers takeout: I've had the pasta with clams several times, and it's truly the best I've ever had. Excellent value and great quality food. The staff could be a little more welcoming, but overall the experience is more than positive.

14/10/2025: New experience in Scerni, truly a nice surprise, beautiful place, remarkable staff but what matters most is the reason why I was at the red wolf, the dinner. I had dinner and here I found those authentic flavors of the past and one of all the ciammaiche (SNAILS) like our grandmother used to make them. What can I say "highly recommended" 💯💯💯
