22/01/2025: I was given a Christmas basket in which there were Verrigni paccheri, unfortunately they don't cook even in twenty minutes... heavy and hard to digest pasta in my opinion. I answer: I'm happy for you that my review is an isolated case as you say, but as a potential buyer I have the right to express an honest and truthful opinion even if it may not be liked and obviously it remains my opinion, but it is a fact that paccheri don't cook even in 20 minutes and always remain hard then honestly I have not tried the other pasta shapes as they are.

12/07/2025: Excellent choice for lunch/dinner...everything was delicious. I recommend the capestro and shrimp medallions. Nice place, friendly staff, excellent food.

10/07/2025: Starting from the premise that the food is very fresh and high-quality! The appetizers and some of the first courses were generously portioned. Being a fan of spaghetti with clams, I can say they were generous, and I even mopped up the sauce with bread. The pizzas were delicious, especially the white ones, including the Tella, which was made especially for us with whole grains. It was light, delicious, and absolutely wow! Try it!

09/05/2025: Light and digestible dough, but slightly acidic tomato for my tastes. Very good trousers, but small for the price. Pizza and snacks with slightly high prices: a slice of Margherita €1.80, a 50g mini hotdog €2, a 100g shorts €3. Service and courtesy nothing to complain about.

21/06/2025: A place of my heart since 2009. Simple and abundant dishes, cooked in an excellent way: light but very tasty. In the summer, eating on the veranda overlooking the hills is a great added value. I will always return

03/03/2025: Posto molto tranquillo, personale molto gentile e disponibile. Il cibo? Una squisitezza...prendete gli arrosticini...goduria pura! in realtà tutto quello che abbiamo mangiato meritava bis e tris... Ritorneremo presto.

16/02/2025: In cima ad una collina alle porte del capoluogo dell'Abruzzo, L'Aquila, troverete questo ristorante immerso in una location fiabesca. La storia familiare dei titolari si intreccia con i luoghi cosi' come le tradizioni, l'amore per la natura ed in buon cibo sono il frutto di un lascito generazionale che si tramanda dai nonni ai padri sino infine arrivare ai figli che hanno raccolto con amore il testimone. Un menu' con prodotti prevalentemente locali vi accogliera' per deliziare i vostri palati con piatti della tradizione gastronomica abruzzese. Inutile dirvi che le carni la fanno da padrone, ma anche i primi piatti di pasta fresca ammassata a ✋️. Una varieta' di antipasti sia caldi che freddi che rischia di soddisfare il vostro appetito gia' ad i primi piatti. Vari i secondi di carne cotti alla brace di un grande camino. In conclusione una esperienza grastronomica che vi fara' apprezzare i piatti semplici della tradizione contadina in un'ambiente di pura natura immersa nelle colline del circondario aquilano. Chiudo la recensione sottolineando la straordinaria sensibilita' e l'amore dei proprietari per i luoghi che videro i Nonni protagonisti della vita e della storia di questi luoghi di montagna dove la vita scorreva segnata dai ritmi di una natura aspra e piena di mille difficolta'. Vivamente consigliato.

27/06/2025: We recently went to SottoSale and unfortunately we did not have a good experience. The grilled fish was not to our liking and what was most disappointing was that the sides were pre-packaged: the salad came from a plastic bag and the potatoes from a frozen bag. After the main course was brought, the service was practically non-existent and we were left without any attention for the rest of the evening.

12/06/2025: Buon sangue non mente. Antipasti sfiziosi, primi molto gustosi e abbondanti, fantasie di secondi scelti e ben cucinati. Servizio attento. Davvero a 2 passi dal mare. Prezzi nella media.

04/05/2025: A genuine and true restaurant. Manager Claudio fantastic host. Young Chef Raffaele marries 88 and 83 year olds whose mold has been lost. Amazing food! Don't miss this Abruzzo experience!

13/06/2025: We have come to this restaurant countless times and will continue to do so. Always top quality ingredients and locally produced. Variable menus depending on availability and season. More than fair prices for the quality offered. The hours indicated on Google are only valid for high season periods, otherwise the restaurant is normally open only during weekends and holidays.

16/02/2025: The food was good, everything was very genuine and traditional. The desserts unfortunately seemed standardized. But overall I would go back.

19/06/2025: Excellent Pizzeria, very professional. Many varieties of pizzas and panzerotti and many other very inviting foods. I asked for a Fried Calzone with mozzarella and tomato and in a few minutes it was served to me, a plentiful filling, excellent mozzarella and tomato with a very tasty and tender fried dough. Well done. I recommend you try this excellent pizzeria. Thank you

20/05/2025: Siamo arrivati alle 13.45 in 7, senza prenotare e non ci hanno fatto nessuna storia. Cibo semplice, genuino, personale gentile. Torneremo in estate per una notte nel vostro campeggio.

28/02/2025: Ristorante storico ad Opi, il posto esternamente è molto agricolo con animali caprette maialini oche cigni e quant’altro, molto simpatico e suggestivo ma tanto retrò. Il ristorante è da rivedere, i ragazzi sono molto gentili e garbati la vecchia guardia è rimasta tropo vecchia ed i piatti del ristorante non sono da meno. Gli antipasti sono nella media ma non superano la sufficienza sicuramente voto 5, i primi niente di che voto 5, stessa cosa per i secondi. Peccato veramente perché in zona si potrebbe fare tanto ma tanto di più.

24/06/2025: Very friendly owners young couple. Service is neat and very friendly food is top and more than enough at very reasonable prices. Parking with the truck along the road is nice and quiet. Definitely worth stopping here Open 7 days a week
