01/10/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance on our way back from a trip to L'Aquila, looking for a place to have lunch, but were discouraged by the late opening hours. I only noticed this restaurant because I looked around. The very young, yet very knowledgeable and competent owner not only welcomed us with a smile despite the late hour, but also listed the dishes for us so much that just listening to him made your mouth water! Wow, these dishes are a delight... from the amazing cured meats where you can taste the real quality, to the first courses... my homemade gnocchi had enough bite to make you close your eyes with every bite! This lovely restaurant where quality and passion reign supreme was an incredible discovery! Bravo!

05/09/2025: We had dinner by chance at this little restaurant in the medieval village of Civitella. The cuisine is typical, tasty, with delicious cheese and egg balls, fantastic Ascoli-style fried food, more than reasonable prices, and the outdoor tables in the historic center are very charming.

29/08/2025: Don't stop at the tables in the alley; ask to eat in their dining room overlooking the valley and mountains. If you're lucky and get a seat near the window, you'll enjoy not only good food but also a beautiful view. Clean, unpretentious, and the menu is simple, but the food was tasty and the prices reasonable. We recommend it.

07/10/2025: They reopened after Concezio's passing. His wife is still in the kitchen. A new menu has been created, offering two fixed-course options of meat and cod, in addition to the same à la carte dishes. The atmosphere has remained the same as before. The cod menu was chosen. The appetizers didn't taste like cod, while the sagne and chickpeas in white sauce and linguine with tomato sauce were just okay. The cod and peppers, with roasted peppers and sweet peppers from Altino, were excellent. I'll be back for the goat.

30/09/2025: A family atmosphere, a cabin surrounded by greenery, and a large fireplace always lit to provide warmth and comfort (...necessary for cooking), make this trattoria unique. Traditional home-cooked cuisine. Matteo, following in the footsteps of his grandfather Concezio, is a young, well-mannered, attentive man who truly knows how to tempt his guests. Typical Abruzzo food, homemade pasta, grilled meats. Everything is very good, although the real specialty is the cod-based cuisine (linguine with cod sauce, cod & potatoes, roasted cod). Excellent!

08/08/2025: We found this place for an evening meal. It's very quaint and has a homey atmosphere. The owner is helpful and very friendly. We had a great time and will definitely return on our next vacation in the area. It's very quiet and the meat is good. Gluten-free options are also available. The wait is a bit long, but you can tell the meat is cooked to order and not reheated. 🙂

10/09/2025: They say it was much better a few years ago. Now?? The food is good, the service is zero. Too bad about the place. You say you don't eat mutton but they don't tell you the liver arrosticini are made from mutton. You get a bottle of white wine but no glass. You're trying to make a request and then order a coffee but the waitress leaves while you're already talking for the second time. I apologize, but I'm talking because she's leaving. Then I thought she'd finished answering. But you shouldn't think. You have to offer attention to the customer. Let's not talk about the so-called head waiter. 1. Washing up should be a priority for being present in the dining room. 2. He should be more prepared. It seemed like he was doing you a favor for free. The first time is the last time here. I'm sorry, but I prefer to tell the truth. You paid for 10 liver arrosticini without even touching them. Let's not talk about the bathrooms. Shame. White but filthy doors. The window is snobbish and full of cobwebs. Need I say more? There is, but no thanks.

21/09/2025: Super friendly staff and delicious pizza slices; we came back again and again. Unfortunately, we were only able to sit outside one evening, but it was fine inside too. We'd love to go back :-)

20/08/2025: I ordered four slices of takeout pizza for dinner. Very good pizza, congratulations! But I preferred to eat it outside because it was definitely too hot in the restaurant. Recommended

18/08/2025: I was very surprised by the location, which is beautiful. The service is high quality. The dishes are delicious. You can see that they put a lot of effort into the ingredients. I ate really well. A restaurant unlike any other in the area. I will definitely return.

31/05/2025: We were on holiday in Abruzzo, we were looking for a place on the way back from the hermitage and we came across this one. I would say it was a pleasant surprise, we ordered purple potato gnocchi, cod cream and sweet pepper powder and a roast lamb with potatoes, artichoke and mint and finally their strong dessert. We left very satisfied and also full. Abundant and gourmet dishes. I wish them the success they deserve I highly recommend 😋

12/10/2025: A charming cafe with delicious sweets and coffee. You can also drink beer and cocktails here, maybe try it next time. The service is polite and fast. Cozy room, there are about half a dozen tables outside.

15/08/2025: I ordered a birthday cake, sending photos and a precise description of the desired flavor, and repeatedly asking for confirmation. Unfortunately, a key request wasn't met: the sponge cake wasn't moist enough and the flavor was too sweet. The decoration was beautiful, but for €60 (€27/kg), I expected the instructions to be followed. The mistake was admitted, but I paid for it. Disappointing.

17/08/2025: First time in this place, breathtaking view, excellent dishes and kind and helpful staff, especially Ludovica who was always available and really served us and revered.. thank you Ludovica, keep it up because your friendliness repays the customer.. we will definitely return.
