30/08/2025: Stumbled upon it by chance, great place, fast service and very friendly staff, shame about the Chinese food, the spring roll full of oil and tasteless, the spicy soup was spicy water with only a few pieces of tofu, carrot and some traces of egg, the rest passable, first time I've taken a photo, but this time I thought it was necessary (soup).

30/07/2025: A Disappointing Experience Not to Be Repeated My recent visit to Sol Levante Japanese Restaurant was a profound disappointment, far from what a Japanese restaurant should offer. Unfortunately, the experience was fraught with a series of issues that made the meal unpleasant and made me want to never return. The first negative aspect that struck me was the interminable wait. Although the restaurant wasn't overly crowded, we had to wait an inordinate amount of time for our dishes. This unjustified delay contributed to a growing sense of frustration and ruined the evening's mood. But the real sore point was the quality of the food, which fell far short of acceptable standards. The raw fish, a cornerstone of Japanese cuisine, didn't appear fresh. The sashimi was tasteless and had a rubbery texture, suggesting it hadn't been freshly prepared or had been stored improperly. The sushi and nigiri rice was also overcooked and sticky, lacking the expected texture and flavor. The tempura was greasy and heavy, not as crispy and light as they should be, and the flavors overall were flat and undistinguished. The service left much to be desired. The staff was distracted and inattentive to our requests. We had to repeatedly call for attention to order drinks or ask for clarification on the dishes. The lack of friendliness and professionalism contributed to an overall unwelcoming and rushed atmosphere. Finally, the value for money was decidedly unfavorable. Considering the low quality of the dishes and the poor service, the final bill seemed excessively high, in no way justifying the experience. In conclusion, Il Sol Levante proved to be a restaurant to avoid for those seeking an authentic and enjoyable Japanese culinary experience. The excessive wait, the poor quality of the food, and the inadequate service made my visit extremely unsatisfactory. I hope this review can help steer those looking for a good Japanese restaurant elsewhere.

12/08/2025: I'm a sushi lover. I've tried sushi all over the world, with different flavors, textures, quantities, etc. After trying several sushi restaurants in the area, I can say that the flavor here is exceptional! The tartar sauce is perfectly soaked in the special sauce; everything has so much good flavor. The portions are large and come in ample quantities. Regarding the price, it's affordable and highly recommended. I would definitely go back again.

22/06/2025: A regular stop for years, delicious, back again tonight, Sofi always kind and helpful, salmon tartar with normal and spectacular Venere rice and many other excellent dishes. From the outside it's not the usual sushi, very Easy style but very good quality, we will continue to go there always.

26/09/2025: This restaurant looks nice, but aside from the price (3 euros for a bottle), the water in the sink and the drain didn't work, and when we decided to go, it was brown poop coming out, just like the toilet and sink. I hope they close this restaurant quickly. I don't recommend it to anyone.

11/05/2025: Little choice of menu, poor quality, slow service, Italian and not oriental management, it is not the classic sushi we find since the "all you can eat" it offers costs €30 with the possibility of taking a maximum of 3 cakes. Would I go back? "No"… I strongly advise against it.
