01/03/2026: Incompetence and a lack of professionalism, coupled with a swanky atmosphere. I ordered two bottles for a birthday, complete with a "finger" on the menu. They were brought two bottles of the same type of wine but at very different prices. The bill magically rose from €50 to €180. #shootyourself

01/03/2026: Steps: (1) the waiting time from the order, 1 hour just for the appetizer, steps (2) that the service was not excellent, they forgot to bring us some dishes, but standing there eating while there is a coming and going of people with shopping bags, pizza boxes, baby bottles, who pass by you, because customers of the hotel (which is located above the restaurant) pass by on their way to their room, absolutely NO and absolutely NO! The sushi was good but too expensive for the quantity and quality

06/10/2025: I've been to Xu Garden in Calenzano a couple of times, and I have to say that overall, it's a nice place for sushi and Asian dishes without too many pretensions. The restaurant is large, modern, and clean, with a relaxed atmosphere—perfect for both a dinner with friends and a romantic evening. The menu is extensive, with the classic all-you-can-eat formula: sushi, sashimi, uramaki, but also Chinese dishes and a few hot dishes (rice noodles, ravioli, chicken, etc.). The fish is generally fresh and delicious, especially the salmon and the simple rolls. Some dishes arrive a little late if the restaurant is busy, but nothing tragic. The staff is friendly and reasonably quick, although during peak hours, you can tell they're a bit rushed. I liked that the dishes are beautifully presented, not thrown together haphazardly like some all-you-can-eat restaurants. As for the price, it's average for the area: not cheap, but fair for the quantity and variety. If I really had to find a flaw, I'd say the quality isn't always consistent: sometimes excellent, other times a bit so-so. And some of the restaurant's rules (like not ordering too many of the same dishes) are a bit annoying, but whatever. Overall, though, I'd gladly return: a pleasant place, good food, and a refined atmosphere. It might not be the finest sushi in the world, but for a carefree evening, it's more than adequate.

02/08/2025: Terrible service, dirty food, cutlery, glasses, and plates they serve food on. They're dirty and not washed well. The waiters are very rude. The food is of terrible quality. I've never come across a place like this. I strongly advise against it. The menu is poor and of terrible quality. Take a closer look at the dishes that arrive at the table and you'll understand. I'll contact the NAS to inspect as soon as possible! (You guys are inventing everything to clean yourselves! Hahaha!). This means that if you don't order à la carte, you'll get terrible service! Wake up people! (We don't all get treated the same way!).

22/10/2025: The sushi isn't the best, but I'd still say it's good. Service is fast, with the classic all-you-can-eat option. The only real flaw is the dust and mop marks practically everywhere.

12/10/2025: Beautiful and well-maintained restaurant. We had dinner on a Saturday evening, three of us. The restaurant wasn't completely full. The wait for food was normal. The dishes were well-prepared.

21/02/2026: I recommend making a reservation because the restaurant isn't big. The food is good and the staff is very friendly, but unfortunately, at least in our case, they were a bit disorganized. We had to ask three times to get our order because they'd lost the paper or forgotten to bring it. We went for dinner, and the bill was quite low for the average. All in all, I recommend it for sushi :)

03/12/2025: Very welcoming atmosphere, I was with my girlfriend, very friendly and smiling staff, really good sushi, lots of choice and special dishes, it wasn't very busy but unlike many other reviews the service was perfect and with the right timing, no dishes forgotten, value for money 9 excellent dishes and also quite abundant (not exaggerated), we had a great time when we return to Riva, this restaurant will be a sure thing 🥰👍🏼

24/10/2025: Tasty, quality food, very nice and well-lit environment, the only flaw was having lost the table order and having to wait 80 minutes before eating something, probably an occasional mistake, we will definitely try again on another occasion hoping for better results.

24/01/2026: The food was undoubtedly good, as it is every time I eat here (except for the meat gyoza, which didn't have their usual flavor). The only negative point concerns the table layout. Last night, we were seated at the table next to the door leading to the outdoor seating area: a decidedly unpleasant situation in the winter, with the cold coming in every time the door was opened. Not to mention the rudeness of some customers who left without even closing the door, forcing me to get up several times to do so myself. When I dine, I want to be relaxed, not have to close the doors. They should definitely find another way to access the outdoor seating area, at least during the winter season, because yesterday's dinner didn't go as well as we'd hoped, but more importantly, as we'd expected from a place like this. I hope to change my mind next time I come here.
