14/09/2025: Recently visited this charming little bar located conveniently near the University of Messina. As expected for the area, you'll find plenty of students frequenting this spot, creating a lively academic atmosphere.
Space & Seating:
The bar is quite compact with limited seating, so if you're planning to visit with a larger group, I'd recommend arriving early or being prepared to wait. During daytime hours, the outdoor seating can get quite sunny, making indoor spots more comfortable.
Service & Staff:
The service was pleasant, with friendly male and female bartenders who were professional and accommodating throughout my visit.
I ordered the Crema di Caffè with Panna, which offered good value for money in terms of both quality and portion size. While it was enjoyable and reasonably priced, I wouldn't say it's the absolute best Crema di Caffè you'll find in Messina – but certainly worth trying.
Overall:
A decent neighborhood spot that's definitely worth a try if you're walking through this area of Messina. While it has some limitations in terms of space and the sweetness level of certain items, the friendly service and reasonable prices make it a solid choice for a quick coffee break, especially if you're in the university district.
Recommended for: Students, coffee lovers, quick stops, solo visits

13/01/2026: Good experience, first time there. I was seated in an unfortunate place where every time the door opened it was cold, but I personally didn't ask to be moved. Service was a bit chaotic, some dishes didn't arrive, but since it's all you can eat, they were reordered. Definitely not my first choice for the future, but it's worth giving it a second chance.

06/09/2025: Authentic Indian food, spicy and just the right amount of heat (unlike Indian fast food restaurants that overdo it). The owner makes his own paneer (a typical Indian cheese). The quality is worth the wait.
Responding to reviews I've read, the meat has bones because dead animals have bones unless they're shellfish, and in India it's customary to put the pieces in without deboning them.
-I advise the owner; I wouldn't call it fast food; it diminishes its value, which I find very different.

26/12/2025: We stayed at Cioccolocanda during the Christmas holidays, taking advantage of the "Chocolate Contamination" package. It was a truly pleasant experience.
The inn is a truly simple and dated place, but very welcoming. All the staff were kind, helpful, and welcoming.
The museum tour was very enjoyable, accompanied by tastings of various chocolates and more.
Mr. Bessone proved to be very knowledgeable, and the chocolate cake-making class was very interesting. The chef's willingness to lead the class, despite the minimum number of participants, was noteworthy. This kindness was truly appreciated.
The dinner was truly hearty and tasty. The cocoa pairings of the various dishes were much appreciated.
The Cioccobagno, an immersion in chocolate, was wonderful. A truly unforgettable 360° sensory experience!
To conclude the stay, a generous sweet breakfast with various types of cakes and pastries. A true treat.
An experience definitely worth repeating.

The young and delightful owners offer excellent quality food, with special mention for the use of so many local products in all dishes.

I have been there twice now and their seafood is absolutely fresh, and deliciously prepared, with a great selection of homemade bread and grissini to start with. Service is excellent, friendly and makes you feel welcome. I will certainly come back!

22/09/2025: My experience yesterday morning at the Teresa beach club, we all spent a beautiful day at the beach together. There was wonderful sunshine, a truly wonderful day, lots of friends. The Teresa beach club is the best beach club in the world and a beautiful beach. The real problem is that lifeguard Fabrizio had to rush to dismantle the beach with the people who were at the beach. He could have done it when there was no one on the beach. Anyway, it was a beautiful day. Beautiful Brindisi, both on Saturday and yesterday. Sunday was the best aperitif at Cristiano's. Everything was good, but I didn't really like the crostini with cheese. It was a beautiful Sunday, all together. The only crostini I liked was beans and onion. It was a beautiful summer at the Teresa beach club. We'll be back for the next summer season.
