14/09/2025: Recently visited this charming little bar located conveniently near the University of Messina. As expected for the area, you'll find plenty of students frequenting this spot, creating a lively academic atmosphere.
Space & Seating:
The bar is quite compact with limited seating, so if you're planning to visit with a larger group, I'd recommend arriving early or being prepared to wait. During daytime hours, the outdoor seating can get quite sunny, making indoor spots more comfortable.
Service & Staff:
The service was pleasant, with friendly male and female bartenders who were professional and accommodating throughout my visit.
I ordered the Crema di Caffè with Panna, which offered good value for money in terms of both quality and portion size. While it was enjoyable and reasonably priced, I wouldn't say it's the absolute best Crema di Caffè you'll find in Messina – but certainly worth trying.
Overall:
A decent neighborhood spot that's definitely worth a try if you're walking through this area of Messina. While it has some limitations in terms of space and the sweetness level of certain items, the friendly service and reasonable prices make it a solid choice for a quick coffee break, especially if you're in the university district.
Recommended for: Students, coffee lovers, quick stops, solo visits

Maybe it's the heavenly plum sauce, maybe it's the cricket on TV, maybe the gluttonous pakora I made (and not just the pakora, the eggplant soup is also devastating), or maybe it's the sum of its parts, but few places have made me feel as comfortable as this place. PS: "Fast Food" is just a name; it's anything but fast, but that's how it should be. You have to know how to wait and value the food. If you wanted to gorge on cold fries at 3 a.m., you could have gone to any McDonald's. Here, fried food and sauces are a serious matter.
03/03/2026: I always order through Just Eat. The portions are very generous and the food is excellent. I've been eating traditional Indian food practically forever, and I can only say great things about it.
The staff is friendly and always on time. I recommend it!

21/04/2026: I found it by chance and stopped for lunch with my wife and two little girls.
Beautiful place, excellent service, they even gave us a silicone bib for the little one. The food was delicious, one of the best burgers I've ever had.
And my wife was very happy with the ramen :)
06/12/2025: A warm and welcoming restaurant, in classic mountain style, well-maintained yet informal.
The young and delightful owners offer excellent quality food, with special mention for the use of so many local products in all dishes.
Highly recommended!

12/05/2026: Chocolate holiday 2026... a wonderful experience, 24 hours with Silvio Bessone making chocolate, tasting his menus but above all listening to his expertise (born from a love for chocolate that is perceived in every word) and his boundless culture make this journey something difficult to forget... plus, nearby is the Basilica of the Nativity of Vicoforte: wonderful!!

05/04/2026: This was our first time at this Chinese restaurant...but what do lasagna, spaghetti with clams, etc. have to do with Chinese/Japanese food? The selection isn't great, and given the crowd, they might want a larger buffet to avoid the lines. The food isn't anything special, and considering the price, it's not worth it.
