Ristorante Cozzeria Pluma

24/06/2025: We tried three different types of mussels and they were all really good: very fresh, well cooked and full of flavour. The octopus was a very pleasant surprise – tender, fresh and perfectly prepared. The yogurt sauce gave it a light and balanced touch, making the dish refined but at the same time tasty. Accompanied by a good glass of white wine, it was a truly enjoyable dinner.
The desserts also proved to be up to the rest of the meal: well presented, delicious and prepared with care.
A round of applause also to the staff: kind, helpful and at the same time very professional. Attentive and friendly service, which really makes the difference.

Abbiamo avuto l’opportunità di assaporare numerose pietanze, tra cui le cozze, che si sono rivelate particolarmente eccellenti. Oltre alla specialità delle cozze preparate in molteplici modi, il menù offre un’ampia selezione di piatti a base di pesce sempre di alta qualità e alcune opzioni dedicate agli amanti della carne. La qualità del cibo è ottima e la carta dei vini propone una vasta scelta proveniente da cantine rinomate. Raccomando vivamente questo ristorante per qualsiasi occasione, sia pranzo che cena. Saremo lieti di tornarvi nuovamente.

02/07/2025: I had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant with my girlfriend this evening and we had a really great time.
We chose to eat according to tradition so on the floor and without cutlery and it was a very special experience and one that I would recommend trying.
Delicious food, perfectly themed restaurant, fair bill and a note of merit for the waitress who I think is one of the most helpful, kind and smiling I have ever found. Thanks again for everything
18/06/2025: Beautiful restaurant, we ate on the carpets on the floor with our hands, what can I say, a beautiful experience!
The food was spectacular, the waitress was super nice, the bathroom very clean.
The very private environment, with the right music I would even say romantic, very beautiful!
The chocolate cake with ginger and coffee was delicious (forgotten photo).
I would say the prices are fair for the portion
What can I say, go and try it guys, highly recommended!

08/07/2025: I'm usually one for the classics, but this time the guy recommended the "New Era Spritz," and it was the right choice! Fresh, thirst-quenching, and delicate, very, very good! The croutons were also excellent!

10/06/2025: I had heard about it and given the distance from home I decided to try this place a few weeks ago.
The area is really disturbing, in the middle of an industrial area of an old construction cooperative.
The building is old and not very well preserved.
The interior is like the exterior, everything is old and the impression of cleanliness is not the best.
The "mise en place" may please some but not us.
An annoying thing, the napkins are tied with a leather ring (not very clean), as soon as we opened the napkin the waiter very quickly took the object away almost as if he was afraid that we might steal it!
The menu is quite anonymous but we had come to eat barbecue meat and that's what we took.
Without praise and without infamy, I expected more.
We did NOT see the waitress who was so attentive before again.
We would have liked to have a dessert but after 20 minutes of inconsideration and attempts to get attention we got up to pay the bill.
The impression is that it is a place for regulars, who are revered and pampered, forgetting about the new customers.
Finally the bill, at least here is some good news, the owner understood the problem with the service and gave us a discount.
It remains a place that I would not recommend and where I will not return
03/06/2025: I ate lunch in a group of 13 people as a guest. I ate excellent quality food. The meat tartare was top notch as was everything else. I highly recommend it. The service could be improved a bit...when a course is served, a brief presentation and explanation of the dish is appreciated, which wasn't always there.

10/06/2025: A group of us were in Cortona for a wedding and wanted to try a restaurant in a different town - and this was hands down our favorite from the five days we were in the region. The staff were so lovely and welcoming, and from start to finish this was a great meal experience. The food itself was phenomenal - ask for olive oil pairings with your food! The seafood was so fresh and the pasta mouth-wateringly delicious. If you're reading this review, run, don't walk there - you will love this place.
03/06/2025: We had a wonderful dinner here! Definitely not your standard Italian fare — everything from the generous seafood antipasti to the delicious seafood pasta and the tiramisu was exceptional. The fish was fresh and perfectly prepared. Service was warm and welcoming, with very friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommended if you’re looking for quality food and a great dining experience!

01/07/2025: Everything perfect. Informal, modern but far from banal atmosphere. Indeed, well-designed for the space of the place. All young people both in the kitchen and at the tables. Very well trained, serious enough, professional but without putting on airs. Ditto for the owner chef, with the bonus of a pleasant and not vulgar (finally!) Roman inflection (I'm Roman too but I hate the Roman heavy).
Exquisite food, elaborate but without mess. Few dishes, a sign of seasonality and quality.
Maybe a 0.1 under 5 the choice of wines (I think the list is still developing) but in any case nothing is missing.
Well done everyone. Recommended place. I forgot, very reasonable prices (even too much!).
29/06/2025: This restaurant is rightly in the Michelin guide with a bib gourmand. We were 2 people and shared 3 starters and 2 main courses. Everything tasted good and very delicious and nice portion sizes. Our waiter recommended 3 local white wines to choose from and the one we chose tasted really good. We finished with coffee and dessert. Competent and friendly staff. A perfect evening.
Hurry up there.

Il Pagliaccio is a culinary experience that combines a sense of style with a passion for innovation. Ideal for couples, special occasions, or fine dining enthusiasts. It's somewhat less suitable for classic "cucina povera" lovers. The two Michelin stars are absolutely deserved.

29/06/2025: If you come to Il Pagliaccio looking for good food you will be disappointed, because here you will find an experience that will stay with you for life. My friend and I requested the parallels menu, a 14-course menu in a private room. We expected a dinner of a certain level and instead I still don't know exactly how to describe the evening because calling it a "dinner" is extremely reductive. The years of experience and study of the dishes are noticeable and the palate begins to travel from one continent to another. The waiting staff was incredible, all very professional but above all willing to satisfy our every curiosity. Even the chef and the pastry chef came to talk to us. You can see that for all of them it is not just a job but a passion, and it makes all the difference in the world. I recommend this experience to everyone.
If you come to Il Pagliaccio looking for a good meal you will be disappointed, what you will get instead is so much more than that, truly an unforgettable experience. Me and my friend requested the Parallels menu, a 14 dish adventure in a private room. To call what we experienced just a "dinner" would be extremely belittling. The years of experience and study of the chef can be clearly seem through every dish, each one of them will take your taste buds on a trip to different continents. The staff was impeccable, very professional and very patient with us, answering all of our questions. Even the chef and the chef patissier came out of the kitchen to talk to us. It is clear that for these people it is not a simple job but a time tested passion, and they reflect this passion towards the customers. I recommend this experience to everyone.

08/05/2025: Everything was perfect… wellness, cuisine, friendliness and professionalism! You feel welcome and very comfortable as a guest. The hotel is an experience, a great combination of old and new while incorporating nature. A highlight is the 30 degree outdoor pool, which can be used even in bad weather. The kitchen is fantastic and the staff is extremely friendly!
