03/05/2026: ★★★☆☆ The food here is absolutely fantastic and the vibe is something special honestly, both deserve five stars on their own. It's the kind of place you want to love, and in some ways we did. However, the service really let the experience down. From the moment we walked in, we didn't feel particularly welcome. Throughout the evening we noticed other guests who arrived after us being attended to first, our food took noticeably longer to come out compared to the tables around us, and at the end of the meal we waited a long time for the bill while our waiter was occupied with other things. No complaints whatsoever about the food or the atmosphere they're the reason we'd even consider returning. But great food deserves great hospitality, and unfortunately that part didn't match up on our visit. Hopefully just an off night, because this place has real potential to be a favourite.

These are the kind of restaurants that don't make the Michelin list because three stars aren't enough to appreciate the freshness of the ingredients, the mastery of the flavor combinations, and the attentive service. Truly a place I can thoroughly recommend. There was nothing I didn't find excellent, but the homemade passatelli with fossa cheese, tomato, and truffle really wowed me. Bravo, and thank you for everything!!!

01/06/2026: The quality is decidedly high. Anyone who ventures into Castello di Albereto should know that a first-rate culinary experience awaits them. Despite its refined setting, there were no problems showing up in hiking gear and quite sweaty. The staff was very professional, with attention to detail worthy of the restaurant's high level. The food, however, is, of course, the true heart of the experience. Refined dishes with flavors ranging from exquisite to sublime. There were no problems even bringing our dog; in fact, a bowl of water was brought for him. What can I say... Highly recommended to anyone looking for a higher-level (and more expensive) experience.
