15/08/2026: I arrive in the morning just after 9 and park my bike between two small trees (by the way, the racks were all full). A woman, the one in the car in the photo, after having me stuck in the sand while parking, insists that I get out of there at all costs because I'm disturbing the people who have to unload... But since I don't follow her orders, she accuses me of arrogance (she's basically giving away her own 🤣). When asked, she tells me she's THE OWNER'S DAUGHTER!!! Next time I'll go to the beach on my knees in his honor instead of on my bike! 👎

04/01/2026: A wonderful discovery for those seeking gluten-free gelato. This gelato shop recently replaced all its ingredients with completely gluten-free products. While they don't yet have official certification, they take great care to guarantee the complete absence of contamination, and it shows. The gelato is delicious, creamy, and rich in flavor, with a wide selection. It's rare to find such quality combined with such variety. The owner is welcoming, helpful, and always ready to explain the ingredients and processes, conveying a genuine care for the customer. The portions are generous, the prices are absolutely in line with traditional gelato shops, and considering the attention to ingredients, they're more than fair. Highly recommended.

06/08/2026: Short review Total disappointment, they'll never see me again, and celiacs, stay away. In detail: I ordered a pizza, carefully selecting the "Gluten-free dough" option on the Glovo platform, and it arrived with regular dough. I only noticed the mistake because the disposable aluminum baking tray they use for gluten-free pizzas was missing (unfortunately, I'd already ordered from them). I reported a serious mix-up to the restaurant, and I had to endure their blaming the platform for their failure to comply, and I had to return the pizza to get it with the gluten-free dough (it took over an hour to remake it and send it back with their own delivery driver). I barely got there, and I received an apology, the gluten-free pizza, and that was it, nothing else, as if nothing had happened. The icing on the cake? This time, the gluten-free pizza was COMPLETELY WRONG. I ordered a pizza with mozzarella, buffalo mozzarella, wild boar fillet, and cherry tomatoes, and ended up with mozzarella, buffalo mozzarella, anchovies, and French fries. To err is human, to persevere is diabolical, never again.

02/08/2026: I love this pastry shop. The staff is knowledgeable, cheerful, and fast. I especially appreciate it for breakfast, with outdoor seating and the sound of birds chirping in the background. It's elegant inside, with a lovely terrace furnished with recycled items outside. I also had the chance to try the aperitivo before lunch, and I must say it was a pleasant experience.

30/07/2026: A cappuccino costs €2.10, but in all other bars you'll pay €1.70. It's not even true that it's the location, as there are much nicer pastry shops.

30/12/2025: The Bassi era is over. The hot chocolate was mediocre and the ice cream was really bad. I had to throw it away. It's not good enough, a historic place ruined.

27/12/2025: The first time I went to Caffè Bassi was about 50 years ago. The old Bassi family were kind, competent people; the place was clean, as were the bathrooms. Then it passed into the hands of their son and wife. A slight decline in kindness, but nothing more. Today, my wife and I stopped for a break; it was chaotic, with a mix of clientele, and the service left much to be desired. But the worst part was the bathrooms, which were unspeakable, veritable latrines, not properly cleaned. What a shame! After 50 years, I'll have to give up a pleasant stop on winter afternoons. 06/07/2026: The owner is very rude to customers. I'd like to report an indecent incident that occurred when I was in the restaurant. A girl of about 15 used the restroom with two of her friends. As soon as she left, the owner scolded the girl for using the restroom, saying she had to ask for it (she could have kept it locked and provided the key whenever she wanted). Not satisfied, she demanded that all the girls share the restroom, even though only one of them had used it. One star because it's the best possible, especially considering we're talking about a 50-year-old, patched-up restroom.

28/06/2026: Very poor service. I witnessed the staff being extremely rude and showing complete disregard for a baby swallow that had fallen from its nest. When a customer asked if she could help put it back in the nest herself, or if they at least had a simple box to put it in, the staff gave a harsh, negative response, showing considerable annoyance, despite the obvious need to provide a little help to a baby animal in great distress in their own establishment.

20/06/2026: We waited 30 minutes for four plates of pasta. Sparkling water that wasn't carbonated. They charged us for the piadina they offered us as a pre-meal appetizer. Measly portions.

20/06/2026: Every time I come back, I find the counter staff getting more and more nervous! It seems like they're offering breakfast! Two in particular seem unhappy! A tip: try working remotely! Too bad, the breakfast selection is excellent, a little expensive, but if the atmosphere is pleasant, why not spend a little more? But that's not the point!

15/06/2026: The girls are very kind and helpful. The croissants and savory pastries are excellent! Highly recommended!

06/07/2026: For the first time, I paid for a coffee stain (10 cents). Soy cappuccino was €2, plus a 30-cent surcharge for soy milk... Ridiculous. He can't see us anymore.

20/08/2026: There were two of us, and we came in around 11:00 for a beer. The place was practically empty, with about twenty tables available and very few people present. We grabbed beers at the counter and, after making some purchases and feeling tired, we sat for a few minutes at a table that had been empty until a moment before. We simply moved the paper placemats. At that point, a waiter, or perhaps the manager, approached us in a decidedly rude and arrogant manner because he needed to set the table and the silverware. We sat for maybe two minutes, put the placemats back, and even returned our glasses to the counter before leaving. Sometimes a table needs to be set; just say so politely. What shouldn't happen is treating two customers this way for sitting for a few minutes in a practically empty place. Personally, I will never set foot in this place again. The problem wasn't the two minutes at the table, but the way we were treated.

19/08/2026: It's like being at home, welcoming people both at the bar and restaurant, excellent fresh fish eaten on a magnificent terrace

10/05/2026: We came for lunch, without an appointment, to a historic restaurant, good and substantial dishes, we ate really well in the Romagna style.

14/07/2026: A beautiful garden for dinner. Good food, although I must say the menu is rather limited. P.S.: There's also a pizzeria.

30/06/2026: Wet plates, dirty glasses, four pizzas to choose from, all burned and with raw toppings. 20 euros. I felt sorry for the waitresses, as there were only two of them. I could have written it off as a bad night, but not at this price.
