27/09/2025: I stumbled upon this pizza place by pure chance. I was drawn to the ambiance and a smell I'd noticed out of the corner of my eye while walking by. I stopped for dinner and... what a surprise. I ate a pizza unlike any other. Definitely good and worth trying at least once. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely be back. It'll be my go-to.

28/06/2026: I've been to this place several times, but today's experience was so bad that I felt compelled to write this review. As soon as we entered, we were asked if we'd like chips with our Spritz. We said yes, but the Spritzes arrived without chips. At 11:55, a waitress informed us that the place closes at 1:00 PM. Nothing unusual so far. The problem is that at 12:25, she reminded us again, effectively rushing us. At that point, I got up and left: an aperitivo should be a moment of relaxation, not an experience where the staff makes you feel like you're in the way. It's a shame, because I'd always had a great time there in the past.

28/11/2025: I'm allergic to nuts, so I asked for them to be nut-free. When my dish arrived, I realized there was some strange cream, so I tasted it (since I'd been assured there wouldn't be any nuts on my dish), and it contained cashews. The waitress, however, didn't know exactly what ingredients it was made with, so she asked a colleague, who confirmed that the cream contained cashews and told the waitress she hadn't realized my dish was supposed to be nut-free. All this without the slightest concern on either of them's part, without confirming anything to me (we overheard the conversation from the table), and without even apologizing or offering a discount. They did remake my dish, yes, but if I'd started eating it without asking, I would have had an allergic reaction. Considering the amount of nuts used in vegan dishes, I'm surprised they didn't pay more attention and take the matter lightly. Furthermore, the attitude of the waitress who served us was rather aloof and bored throughout the service, almost bordering on rudeness.

30/12/2025: The Bassi era is over. The hot chocolate was mediocre and the ice cream was really bad. I had to throw it away. It's not good enough, a historic place ruined.

27/12/2025: The first time I went to Caffè Bassi was about 50 years ago. The old Bassi family were kind, competent people; the place was clean, as were the bathrooms. Then it passed into the hands of their son and wife. A slight decline in kindness, but nothing more. Today, my wife and I stopped for a break; it was chaotic, with a mix of clientele, and the service left much to be desired. But the worst part was the bathrooms, which were unspeakable, veritable latrines, not properly cleaned. What a shame! After 50 years, I'll have to give up a pleasant stop on winter afternoons. 12/07/2026: I went to this restaurant for dinner with friends. The evening started with a warm welcome: the owner slammed a bag of ice on the counter, rudely treated one of his employees, and gave a customer rude responses. We then went up to the terrace for dinner and found a waiter completely unprepared for the day's specials (which we never learned, and the only one he told us was wrong). He urged us to order more or less the same things so as not to mix things up in the kitchen, starting with, "Otherwise, you won't eat anymore" (the place was practically empty). The final blow came when the owner brought our drinks and simply because I was looking at him, blurted out, "Why are you looking at me like that, what the hell?" The service was truly embarrassing. The food was mediocre, nothing special, or at least not a good value. Absolutely not recommended.

23/06/2026: I hate to say it, but since the merger with the other restaurant, I've noticed a marked decline in quality. It seems the primary goal is to increase seating and profit, while sacrificing the attention to detail and culinary tradition that set you apart. The dishes today appear less refined, with a menu that leaves much to be desired and has lost part of its identity. Eating here no longer conveys the pleasure and authenticity it once did, but gives the impression of cuisine lacking true soul. It's a shame to see what was once a wonderful establishment become more commercial than qualitative. I hope you can reflect on these observations and return to appreciating the quality and tradition that made your restaurant special.

16/04/2026: Hands down, the best kebab in Ravenna. The place is super clean and the kebab is tasty but light. The staff is really polite. Highly recommended.

27/02/2026: With all due respect to traditional kebab shops, this is by far the cleanest and most orderly, with extremely friendly staff who don't look at you as if you've disturbed them. Another notable detail: the hoods, in addition to being clean, also work with extractors, allowing customers to leave without smelling of fries.
