A refined restaurant where good taste is expressed throughout, from the decor to the service to the presentation of the dishes. Excellent hospitality and truly praiseworthy dishes. A more than positive experience.

26/10/2025: I'm writing this review with a heavy heart because I risk not finding a place for lunch again (I'm joking, of course, a review is due!) This is a well-known and favorite trattoria, but today they outdid themselves (it's our 29th wedding anniversary). The place is packed, but despite everything, the waitresses (very good and attentive) take orders quickly, and the dishes arrive quickly. The first courses are excellent and plentiful, with the gnocco and tigelle being top-notch (having served at festivals, I know how easy it is to make a mistake with gnocco and tigelle). We ordered 2 rosettes, tagliatelle with ragù, tortellini in broth, tortellini with cream, gnocco and tigelle with cold cuts, and mature cheeses. and stracchino, jams, netelle, lard, 1 liter of house Lambrusco Grasparossa (excellent), 3 still waters, a sorbet and 2 jars of mascarpone, 4 coffees, 5 place settings for a total of €130 (about €26 per person...); located on a hill at 435m above sea level amidst stunning hills and at this time of year the foliage is in full bloom... absolutely highly recommended!

11/10/2025: We ate there 2 times, both times everything was delicious with big portions. The gentleman serving was very friendly and adapting to our wishes. For instance, they prepared ad hoc burrata with mozzarella. Rissotto was very good but a portion for one is too much

30/08/2025: Excellent food and service, certainly helped by the fact that there were few people on a Tuesday in August 😁. The meat and cobtirno were excellent, and my wife's first course was equally delicious. The price wasn't cheap, but it wasn't excessive either. The bread was the only thing that wasn't up to par (it was defrosted), but considering the time of year, that's okay. Recommended.

10/08/2025: The only thing I don't understand is the cost of a macchiato coffee is €1.40 while a regular one costs €1.30. But is that possible?

11/08/2025: Just like the restaurant, the hotel is very well located in the city. Very warm, we really feel good in this stone establishment, very comfortable room, perfect bedding. A breakfast with little attention for my daughter was perfect, thank you again for everything. ☺️

05/11/2025: More than 30 minutes late, it's Wednesday night, not even Saturday, Sunday, or Friday. It's happened several times already.

05/11/2025: Light and delicious pizza, very friendly staff who put their heart and soul into their work. Definitely worth a visit; there are a wide variety of flavors available, and there are even a few tables for dining in. Convenient parking is available outside.

14/09/2025: I was at lunch after the Italian championship flag-waving competitions. We ate some first courses that were cold and the tortellini were not that great and very few, then a poor wine and the whole thing was €30 per person to think that they consider it an excellent place. Maybe I'm used to cooking for 3 or 4 people because there were 20 of us. They set the table outside as if we were in a campsite while inside it seemed luxurious. I don't know how they treat customers like that.

06/09/2025: While waiting for a show to begin, we accidentally chose Osteria del Borgo, and it turned out to be a pleasant discovery. The restaurant is furnished with care and originality. The location is also perfect for a romantic dinner, given the view of the magnificent castle. The sparkling, smiling, and affable owner, Serena, and her staff exude kindness and professionalism. Given our rush, she recommended dishes that were quick to prepare and serve: a big shout out to the kitchen, which ensured we weren't late for the show. Excellent menu and excellent wine and spirits list.

24/10/2025: The food is really good, but over time we've gone from €34 to €35, €37, and now €41 per person + wine... The last time, the thing that made us put an end to it was the refusal of the Doggy Bag. We had some leftover cured meat, also because we had a child with us, and some crescentine... and rather than throw them away, we asked if we could have some foil... and the lady who runs the restaurant, with arrogance and rudeness, responded, "We don't do that kind of thing."

21/09/2025: Everyone was so kind! They welcomed us during the Camino dell'Unione, and good old Stefano prepared a hearty pasta dish with cherry tomatoes that was piping hot as soon as we arrived at the end of Stage 1. They were also incredibly helpful with services, breakfast, and everything else. It's a great meeting place that brings the town to life, in a lovely stone building! Thanks guys.
