06/01/2026: While out and about for Epiphany, we chose this restaurant online because it "inspired" us.... Absolutely spot on!!! A very beautiful and well-kept restaurant, with professional and excellent service. The food: as an off-menu option, they offer a boiled meat cart, which they only serve on Sundays and holidays. Amazing!!! The first and second courses are high quality, and the desserts are delicious. The quality of the preparation is very high, I recommend it to everyone. Congratulations!

05/01/2026: A magnificent, high-quality gastronomic experience with truly unusual offerings. The interior is elegant, and the outdoor veranda offers romantic dinners in the summer. The wine list is excellent, and to top it all off, an excellent selection of rums complements the creative desserts.

21/12/2025: The trattoria atmosphere is ideal for a family lunch or a group of friends. The traditional menu features excellent first courses, tasty tigelle (crescentine), and, I must say, excellent gnocco fritto. The cold cuts are also quality, and I also enjoyed the dessert. The price is a strong point.

14/01/2026: I'm a regular Sunday night customer after a basketball game with friends. The crispy, well-topped pizza at Sombrero is a sure thing. We're disappointed when there aren't any leftover portions of the mascarpone with Barozzi, but fortunately, that rarely happens. The waitresses give everyone five stars.

28/01/2026: We arrived at the restaurant believing we could enter without a reservation, as we'd been told. We waited 15 minutes without anyone coming to take our order. The staff was also rude and unhelpful. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience; I wouldn't recommend it. Update: After leaving this review, the owner's response exceeded all bounds of professionalism and common sense. Instead of addressing the real issue—the wait and poor service—we were met with personal insults, unfounded accusations, and a complete lack of respect for those who leave honest feedback. We never asked for any special treatment: we just wanted normal, polite, and respectful service, as every customer should receive. The response we received clearly demonstrates that the restaurant's management not only ignores criticism, but reacts aggressively and offensively. It's clear that this establishment's priority isn't customer satisfaction or the quality of the experience, but rather the arbitrary and aggressive defense of the owner's image, even at the cost of attacking those who leave truthful reviews. This experience and the response it received speak for themselves: anyone who reads can see the level of professionalism and the attitude toward customers that falls short of minimum expectations of respect and courtesy. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this establishment to those seeking a welcoming, professional, and respectful environment.

13/01/2026: We ate very well. The capon-filled tortellini were spectacular, as were the tagliatelle with ragù, and the other two first courses that I can't remember... The calzagatto was excellent. Impeccable service and the hostess was very kind and friendly. Congratulations.

31/12/2025: This place has been completely renewed recently. It's small (~25 places), good for intimate dinners. The menu is pretty short (which is good) with some simple/classic stuff and other classics revisited. I tried carciofi alla giudia (very good) and lasagne (revisited, good and tasty). Service polite and quick, price I would say normal (starter, primo, dessert, coffee, glass of wine = 45€). My experience was very pleasant, I recommend it, the quality is very good. I would recommend the management to take care of some minir details when presenting food: dessert (nocino mousse) wasn't very appealing to watch or lasagna was served in a high border dish which is uncomfortable to deal with a fork (much more suitable for a spoon). Bottom line: I liked it, can do an extra step towards quality, but overall a good experience with good food and service at a reasonable price given the quality and the location.

10/08/2025: The only thing I don't understand is the cost of a macchiato coffee is €1.40 while a regular one costs €1.30. But is that possible?

17/06/2025: I can only say excellent COFFEE and VERY VERY kind owners who welcome you to their COFFEE BAR in a very PROFESSIONAL manner. I recommend it to anyone who wants a little daily pampering.

11/08/2025: Just like the restaurant, the hotel is very well located in the city. Very warm, we really feel good in this stone establishment, very comfortable room, perfect bedding. A breakfast with little attention for my daughter was perfect, thank you again for everything. ☺️

02/12/2025: A regular stop on my travels, welcoming with a family atmosphere

07/11/2025: Agriturismo in a beautiful and scenic location, surrounded by vineyards and a small lake. We had dinner there, where we had truly excellent and delicate tortelloni with butter and sage. Then there was excellent gnocco fritto with prosciutto and mortadella. The scallops were also delicious. All washed down with an excellent Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro. All the products are organic and of excellent quality. The staff and owners are very friendly. Highly recommended. We returned for lunch and can add further praise for the macaroni with potatoes and pancetta and the green tortellini with cream. The staff makes you feel right at home.

15/01/2026: On 12/31/25 the managers retired and closed, maybe they will reopen in the spring of the next year

11/01/2026: Beautiful location, even the dining room. Unfortunately, the food is rather mediocre, and the bill is too high for what you get. Everything seems recycled and reheated... a farmhouse setting only; the dinner felt like it was in a hotel for German tourists, the only ones who might appreciate the wine at this restaurant.
