04/02/2025: Chamois is a little gem, reachable by cable car from Buisson (5.5 euros) and therefore there are no cars 🤗. We were there at the end of January and it was all covered in snow: a spectacle for the soul and the heart. The houses and cabins all set up with flower holders make it seem equally beautiful and welcoming in summer. Chez Pierina is certainly the most famous restaurant in Chamois; we went there and it was an experience worth repeating. Mountain environment, warm and welcoming; friendly staff with great customer care; very good dishes (the stews are amazing), really generous portions (a bread soup is enough for two), substantial and made with a high level of quality. Nice choice of wines, local and otherwise. Excellent quality/price ratio Well deserved fame Highly recommended

02/02/2025: What can I say? Everything good and cared for. Stew, cured meats and appetizers with flavors from times gone by. Abundant dishes. Spent 60 euros for 2 with drinks and wine. Highly recommended.

27/01/2025: I went to this restaurant a few days ago with my friends and I can only leave a super positive comment. The food is simply excellent: every course, from starter to dessert, was a real delight! The environment is perfect, welcoming and warm, with a wonderful mountain style. The staff is not only extremely professional, but also incredibly kind and welcoming. Highly recommended, can't wait to go back!

04/02/2025: All very good! We went to visit the castle of Issogne and asked the guide for advice on where to eat a good polenta. This restaurant was recommended to us as "the best polenta in the Aosta valley"... and what can I say, we completely agree! On Sundays they only have fixed menus (from 25 to a maximum of 40 euros, drinks excluded). Definitely try the fontina biscuits with hot lard, a gem! And the fantastic Seuppa, we didn't know what it was but it's a typical dish you absolutely must try, you won't regret it! The polenta is prepared by the grandfather who will serve it personally to you at the table... and for dessert they offer chestnuts that are mouth-watering... what can I say, everything is fantastic. The environment is typical of a very welcoming trattoria, the view is also very beautiful and not least the raw materials are all local or come from their gardens. I attach photos even if they don't do it justice.

27/01/2025: Una vera certezza!! Uno dei rarissimi locali a Torgnon con personale gentile e che non sembra scocciato dalla presenza dei turisti. Il cibo è davvero buono ma soprattutto abbondante e giusto di prezzi! Il signore all ingresso che gestisce l'ordine dei tavoli è disponibile e sorridente (una vera perla rara a torgnon) Bravi!!!!

11/01/2025: Piatti gustosi, porzioni abbondanti, disponibili anche diversi piatti senza né carne né pesce adatti a vegetariani. Conto onestissimo se si considera che ci si trova a 1800 metri e in alta stagione. Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo.

07/02/2025: Locale molto piccolo, raccolto, dove il tempo sembra essersi fermato...ma non è così, anzi il menù è su comodi tablet e i calici di vino vengono serviti con un metodo particolare che preserva la qualità del prodotto in bottiglia. Il personale è molto preparato e appassionato nel raccontare la proposta del locale che è molto tipica ma anche ampia. Noi abbiamo scelto la bourguignonne, ottima la carne e anche le salsine. Ricercati e originali anche i dolci. Il prezzo è, a parer mio, un po' troppo caro per quello che si mangia ( la bourguignonne 30 euro, i dolci 9) ma è vero che la qualità ha un costo e indubbiamente ogni ingrediente è di grande qualità in questo posto, dunque ne vale la pena.

04/02/2025: Il locale, in centro ad Aosta, è molto grazioso ed accogliente. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene e l’esperienza della bourguignonne al tavolo è stata fantastica. Ci sono anche taglieri di salumi e formaggi di pregio ed ottimi piatti a base di polenta e fonduta. Anche le crespelle ci sono piaciute molto. La spesa è in linea ed il servizio veloce è gentile. Tolgo una stella in modo convinto per la carta di credito come garanzia collaterale. Capisco la frustrazione di una classe di lavoratori che si trovano con molti bidoni tirati all’ultimo secondo, ma non penso sia questa la risposta. Se dovessi venire con la mia ragazza e qualche ora prima mi salisse la febbre, regalerei 70€ ad un ristorante perché sono malato.

17/02/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante molto caratteristico, sembra di tornare indietro nel tempo, tanti oggetti antichi, tutto curato nei minimi dettagli! Il cibo è davvero una prelibatezza, abbiamo preso gnocchi alle barbabietole, minestra di cipolle con un po’ di fontina e prosciutto accompagnato da salsa di mele, patate e cipolle, buonissimi! Le cameriere vestite in abito tipico, cordiali ed attente. Complimenti, consigliato!

07/02/2025: Ci siamo tornati dopo una ventina d’anni. Locale sempre come allora molto caratteristico e bello. Il personale cortese e professionale anche se un po’ troppo freddo e distaccato. Mangiare di buona qualità. I vini decisamente cari. Rispetto una volta i prezzi sono lievitati e mangiare in questo ristorante è diventato decisamente costoso. Un volta era un po’ più alla portata di tutti: c’era il menù fisso comprensivo di tutto ad un prezzo decisamente abbordabile. Rapporto qualità/prezzo adeguati (per i vini bisognerebbe avere anche vini meno prestigiosi o della casa). Comunque molto bene, lo consiglio e ci torneremo sicuramente.

07/02/2025: Habitué du Riondet depuis très longtemps, beaucoup de choses n'ont pas changé et c'est bien. Par contre les prix ont explosé! Un (petit) verre de vin à 7,50 euros, c'est le prix sur la Côte d'Azur. La montée en gamme voulue par l'équipe du Riondet se traduit par une forte montée en prix. A mon grand regret, j'espacerai mes visites...

07/02/2025: non capisco come ci siano tutte queste recensioni positive, ho ordinato una polenta con bocconcini di vitello mi è arrivato una polenta (se così si può definire) e una specie di spezzatino, il menù é completamente sbagliato, c’é scritto polenta e invece arriva fontina fusa con qualche chicco di polenta sul fondo, unica cosa buona é il personale super accogliente

07/02/2025: Beautiful restaurant in a very characteristic corner of the town. Attentive and thoughtful service; typical refined and quality Aosta Valley cuisine. Private environment, with few and well-spaced tables. We had dinner on a Friday evening and the place was completely full; essential to book.
