01/01/2026: Lunch with excellent cold cuts for an appetizer, delicious bucatini all'amatriciana for a first course, and then tiramisu, and... what can I say... Go try them.

31/12/2025: Excellent food, excellent service, a very satisfying experience! Good value. The crostini were delicious and aromatic, the fillet steak very tasty, and afterward, we had a second crostini and a cheese selection. Worth it!

07/01/2026: Truly excellent... Fantastic location, surrounded by greenery, as is the cleanliness of the place. A family-run restaurant for decades, all the staff are polite, attentive, and friendly. Varied and traditional menu... cooked with care and with excellent ingredients, simple, yet flavorful and prepared to perfection. Nothing to complain about; everything was explained with great care and knowledge of what was to be served. Excellent wines. We had lunch on January 2nd for four people. 13/01/2026: An average restaurant, but unfortunately, it didn't leave any particular impressions. The tagliata didn't live up to expectations; it's hard to even classify it. Basic service, pleasant atmosphere, two rooms, one more welcoming, the other less so... overall, the experience was rather unimpressive. It's a shame, because there are definitely better options in the Orvieto area.

07/01/2026: Great restaurant! The menu is consistent with the area and local traditions. The first courses were excellent, especially the tagliatelle. We really appreciated the quality of the pasta and its cooking. The service was fast and friendly. Reservations are recommended, as the place filled up quickly. Although the town is small and easy to navigate, the restaurant is conveniently located. A good choice considering the quality and price, even though ours was a quick and simple lunch.

13/01/2026: We went to this typical Osteria for lunch. The staff were very kind and professional, and the service was fast and attentive. The appetizers were delicious; I recommend the baffo all'orvietana. For the first courses, the cappelletti were delicious, but the ombrichelli all'amatriciana lacked flavor. The crème brulee was good, but it was still cold and hadn't formed the infamous caramelized sugar crust. The tiramisu was passable. A glass of wine at €6.50 is truly excessive. All in all, this is a place I'd give another chance.

10/01/2026: The pistachio pasta, arrabbiata, wild boar, soup of the day, and Angela's eggplant mozzarella were all delicious. The staff were all friendly, attentive to our needs, and quick to respond. The tiramisu dessert was so delicious that I ordered more. The chocolate at the bottom of the tiramisu was chewy and sweet.

18/01/2026: Everything was good and the prices were reasonable. The portions were perhaps a little small, and the house wine was definitely not drinkable.

04/01/2026: Three of us had lunch on New Year's Eve. As soon as we were seated, they brought water for our dog. Not something you'd expect. We tried three different first courses, all excellent, and both the wild boar and Chianina beef stew. These were also delicious. The portions weren't large, but they weren't small either. Prices were moderately high. I'd definitely go back.

10/01/2026: We ate at this restaurant in the center of Orvieto and I must say we had a great time. Excellent traditional Umbrian-Tuscan dishes at reasonable prices. The staff were friendly and attentive. Recommended.

09/01/2026: A nice restaurant, not too big, outside the busiest part of town. There are some unique, historically inspired dishes, and the food is generally good. Portions are normal, smaller than the local average, which is a good thing for me. Very tasty desserts. Informal and courteous service.

20/11/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant, accessible via a bumpy but manageable road. The dining room is large and welcoming, and we were delighted to have space for our daughter's stroller next to the table. À la carte menu. We ate wonderfully, everything was delicious! Highly recommended!

13/10/2025: A good restaurant, but with a disappointing finish. The wait (not just for us, but for other tables as well) for payment, which lasted 30 minutes or more, was excessive. Maybe it was just Sunday.

30/11/2025: La Pergola La Pergola restaurant is located in a truly picturesque alleyway: the charming entrance invites you in and promises a pleasant experience. The first part of the restaurant, however, is rather anonymous and doesn't do justice to the atmosphere that only emerges later: the internal garden, with a very well-kept and welcoming outdoor area, is undoubtedly the highlight of the place. Regarding the food, we started with the Baffo, which unfortunately turned out to be excessively salty. Next, we ordered some first courses: the toppings were good and well-balanced, but the pasta arrived a bit overcooked, which detracted from the overall experience. Among the desserts, the zuppa inglese was excellent, but the tiramisu was less convincing, falling short of expectations. The wine list is extensive, but we found several omissions, as was the case with the beers. A shame, considering the potential. The staff seemed rather distracted and not particularly knowledgeable, which impacted the overall experience. In short, La Pergola boasts a very pleasant outdoor setting and some interesting dishes, but there's room for improvement in both the cuisine and the service. It could become an excellent place with a little more attention to detail.
