23/08/2024: Extremely negative experience: the meal was enjoyable but the experience was completely ruined by the ineptitude and rudeness of the waitress and the "room manager". As soon as we entered we requested a table for two (we hadn't booked) and it seemed like we had wronged the room manager. Having taken our seats we waited at least 10 minutes to receive the menus, in the meantime four people of a certain age sat at a table near ours, apparently acquaintances of a certain "Caesar" and the waitress' servility towards them was almost revolting. While they had already ordered, the menu had not yet arrived for us (already requested several times). Once the appetizer had arrived and been consumed (a cutting board with a single courtesy plate even though we had specified that we wanted to share it), it was time for the main course: a plate of tagliolini and cheek. The tagliolini arrived but after 5 minutes the cheek still hadn't arrived. At this point the waitress arrives and warns us that there was a problem with the order and the cheek had not yet been prepared, so I ask to cancel the order but the head waitress intervenes and tells us that in reality they were plating it, the 'exact opposite of what the waitress had just told us. After 15 minutes it still hadn't arrived, so I felt cheated: I understand that there could be problems in the kitchen but making fun of customers like this is not okay. I went in to confront the head waitress who with her now usual rude way quickly dismisses me, I then ask to finish dinner here and I only paid for what we consumed. Highly NOT RECOMMENDED restaurant, not for the food which is honestly good, but for the treatment given by the head nurse, unless you also know "Cesare"😂.

22/08/2024: I was on holiday in Cavalese with my partner and I had dinner here twice. Excellent service, refined and refined dishes. Excellent cuisine in both quality and quantity. Relaxing environment and excellent quality/price ratio. I like changing places, but if I were to return to Cavalese I would struggle not to return here. Compliments

25/07/2024: Typical tavern from Val dei Mocheni discovered by chance, I went back today for the second time. Clean place, pleasant to the eyes and taste buds. Welcome platter and platter of cured meats and cheeses🔝🔝 accompanied by excellent jams Abundant typical first courses, excellent second courses and desserts. Good choice of typical wines. Friendly and polite dining room staff. Excellent value for money. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

10/08/2024: One of the most beautiful refuges in Trentino. Splendid view from the Paganella peak over the Brenta Alps and Lake Garda. We had lunch in the internal room, beautiful and very traditional. Excellent food with typical cuisine, quick and friendly service. Very honest prices. An experience to highly recommend to everyone.

12/08/2024: Enjoyed our risotto made with Orzo (barley) and polenta gnocchi with cervo …food was outstanding. Service was attentive, the setting exquisite. Definitely a place to return to when up that way. Many families brought their tables and chairs and picnicked on the lawns under the trees in the nearby vicinity. Lots of bear warnings posted around the place!

25/08/2024: Abbiamo scelto questo posto viste le recensioni, io non so se è stata la nostra serata sfortunata, ma a parte il personale scostante e poco empatico per non dire antipatico, ci servono 3 palle di canederli che sembrano quelli della Conad del paese con un burro fuso buttato lì e sopra una cialda di parmigiano che non c’entra nulla e fa molto anni 90, le fettuccine di cervo secche una cucchiaiata di sugo e i due contorni i crauti che sembrano quelli in scatola e i porcini trifolati evidentemente surgelati (non ho visto asterisco) che avevano credo agggiunta di panna o latte non si capiva immangiabili ed il pane rifatto! Il conto 62 euro non ci metterò più piede questo è sicuro ma chiamato buona cucina ci vuole un immenso coraggio!

19/08/2024: Mi spiace fare questa recensione perché abbiamo mangiato bene. I piatti buoni, ma niente di speciale o memorabile. Carpaccio di cervo con salsa alle mele buono, risotto ai funghi con tartufo, cose tutte particolari... Ma che non hanno lasciato un grosso segno... Abbiamo chiesto una costata di carne irlandese, abbiamo chiesto i tagli. C'è stata fatta vedere e presentata come 700gr di carne. Poi sul conto però il prezzo è stato maggiorato. E 160€ per un antipasto, un primo, un secondo e una bottiglia di vino, in due... Mi sembra davvero esagerato. Per quello che abbiamo mangiato il prezzo è davvero troppo alto. Considerando che il sapore e qualità del cibo era assolutamente nella norma, ripeto...nulla di memorabile.

31/08/2024: Con qualche attenzione in più potrebbe migliorare parecchio. La location ha due facce. Dentro piccolo ma molto bello, fuori non l'ho trovato per niente invitante. Piatti tipici trentini fatti bene. La qualità l'ho trovata molto buona. Il servizio cordiale e veloce ma una cosa non mi è piaciuta. Sapendo che miei bambini non sono mangioni ho chiesto quanto fosse grande la cotoletta ordinata. Mi spiaceva pagare qualcosa che poi sarebbe avanzata. Dalle informazioni ricevute ne abbiamo ordinate due che puntualmente erano più grandi ed altrettanto puntualmente sono state mangiate a metà. Il prezzo per me è alto. Gli strangolapreti si è no 10 a 12 euro sono un furto. Mia mamma è trentina e anni fa quando riusciva ancora me li faceva. So bene cosa serve per farli. Nel complesso è un bel posto e si mangia bene ma il prezzo non lo giustifico. Troppo caro.

20/08/2024: I ate alone at the restaurant and it was fabulous! Great service and food. Staff was very helpful with making wine and grappa recommendations. Get yourself the pine scented semifreddo!

16/08/2024: We left Mostizzolo by bike to reach the Il Maniero restaurant, we arrived after about two and a half hours and decided to taste the dishes proposed by the chef. I took the "Castle Plate" and my wife took the "salmon trout fillet. I must say that these two dishes made up for the effort made to get here by bike very well. Very tender meat and fish, very good mushrooms and polenta. Excellent service and very willing to satisfy my crazy requests. Highly recommended.

24/07/2024: In giro x i monti di Trento optiamo per questa struttura immersa nel verde, con parcheggio annesso ed una visione panoramica a 360°. Menù tipico da malga a prezzi che però non sono troppo economici anzi (foto allegate), cmq buona qualità delle proposte e della materia prima e nota positiva per le birre. La pecca è il servizio, un pò disorganizzato, mentre il cameriere che ci ha servito non è stato il massimo della professionalità, inoltre tempi di attesa sono stati troppo elevati, dovuti forse ad errori di comanda. Nel complesso una bella struttura che merita un servizio adeguato.

23/07/2024: We went to Jolanda di Savoia for rice and then it was time for lunch,. . . Heraclius' hut in Codigoro (Fe), located a few kilometers away, seemed close to us. We found a lot of kindness, a well-kept place, wonderful staff and an excellent menu. We had lunch with fish and eel of infinite goodness: cooked well, soft, it combined sublimely with the white polenta. Definitely worth returning

18/08/2024: FANTASTIC, it could be enough for a review but, the experience that Nicoletta made us try surpasses all the senses, I returned to the flavors of when I was a child that we no longer remember due to lack of time or our fast way of eating. We were welcomed and hosted in an excellent manner in a location from times gone by which perfectly matches the surrounding area, we tasted everything that the menu offered, from the barley soup with its delicate flavour, the spatzli with red turnip and the dumplings all seasoned with skill with a delicate and never invasive flavour, from the stew with polenta to the platter of local cheeses and cold cuts, accompanied by the famous tortei de potatoes, sublime, crunchy on the outside and very soft on the inside, all accompanied by an excellent wine that has never dominated the flavors, then moving on to desserts and here too Nicoletta and her staff hit the mark. An excellently prepared reinterpretation of the apple strudel, then moving on to the panna cotta with berries and here too... Then the coffee rigorously made with the moka, a dive into the excellent and genuine flavors of the past. I wanted to thank Nicoletta and all the staff for their excellent hospitality, for making us feel like FRIENDS before customers. 08/08/2024: A great place to spend a relaxing holiday. Very nice owners who run the agriturismo with love and conviction. The food is almost entirely from our own or local production and is based on the classic cuisine of Trentino. The area around the house is very picturesque and ideal for hiking. In the valley there is pretty much every water sport that is possible in the mountains or mountain rivers. I was there to cycle and particularly loved the cycle paths in the valley along the Noce River. Nearby are also the Mendel Pass, Passo Tonale etc., which are easily accessible by bike. All in all, together with the Solasna, a top package. Will come back!
