10/01/2026: First time in Trento, we Googled a typical trattoria, and we hit the nail on the head! They welcomed us even though it was past 2 PM, and the service was excellent! The place was warm and welcoming, the wine was excellent, and the food was delicious!

08/03/2026: I ordered a platter and the dumplings, and everything was truly delicious! The chopped vegetables in the dumplings and the Moena cheese are a perfect combination.
The staff and owner were truly kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere was pleasantly relaxed for dinner, with good music.
24/02/2026: Good restaurant...it used to be! Old-fashioned, the only saving grace is the kitchen, run by capable young people, a little inexperienced but promising.

26/02/2026: We went there for lunch today at the recommendation of staff at the Fondazione Mach in San Michele, and we've made a note of it for future visits.
We were immediately greeted by the staff and seated at our table. We ordered a meat appetizer for two, two first courses, two desserts, two coffees, and a bottle of mineral water. Furthermore, seeing the opportunity, we took home the boiled meat for dinner, spending a total of €94.
The quality of the products is truly excellent, as is the preparation and presentation. The service is attentive but not stressful, and the atmosphere, with views of the Mezzocorona mountain, is relaxing and very pleasant. We will definitely return and are already recommending it to family and friends.
Thanks to the entire team for the pleasant experience.
17/02/2026: My wife and I celebrated our wedding here in 2023, so we decided to return on Valentine's Day. The new management and the long-time wait staff (as always exceptional), along with new hires, have brought a breath of fresh air and noteworthy professionalism. The service is impeccable, and the attention to detail is impeccable, all of this combined with the manager's rare courtesy and friendliness. As always, we had a wonderful meal, excellent dishes in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere.

17/01/2026: I returned after many years hoping for improvement, but unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. The place is cute and quaint, all in wood, but the pizza is just not up to par, flavorless and with poor, sparse ingredients. It's a shame to leave a negative review, but after so many years, you expect much better. As it is, it doesn't make you want to return.

Very friendly service, rustic atmosphere, delicious pizza (I had one with a darker crust), and reasonable prices.
The real WOW factor was in the restroom: absolutely spotless! Well-maintained, sparkling clean—if the restroom reflects the overall hygiene of the place, then this is the perfect spot.

07/03/2026: We had an appetizer of delicious cheeses, a Margherita pizza, and a sliced steak to share, but I have to mention the excellent sliced steak—truly among the best I've ever eaten!
Of course, it's not super cheap, but you're more than willing to pay for quality.
The staff were incredibly friendly and super fast, and they brought everything to us in 5 minutes. Finally, the restaurant was beautiful, welcoming, spacious, and beautiful! I highly recommend stopping here if you're passing through Madonna di Campiglio!

22/02/2026: A unique, quiet place with a lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff. Before arriving, a digital menu is sent for your convenience, and reservations are required. The food is decent, with the traditional dishes being popular.
There isn't much choice or provision for children.
14/02/2026: Valentine's Day dinner, €80 per person, excluding wine. We ate mediocre food, some prepackaged (like dessert, for example). The portions were small, the first course was decent, and we had two second courses (the pork was absolutely dry). Two desserts, a prepackaged chocolate one and a semifreddo, arrived still frozen. When we expressed our concern, the response was "eat the other one first." At the cashier, she looked down and didn't even ask how it went. Overpriced, an experience not to be repeated.

We didn't eat, but we stopped for a break from cross-country skiing in the afternoon.
19/11/2025: The location struck me as very charming, nestled among the mountains with a relaxing view of the valley. As soon as I sat down, I noticed the very friendly and helpful service: the waiters were attentive and patient.
The menu offers typical dishes from the Aosta Valley: I ordered a well-prepared polenta concia and their exquisite homemade gelato (photo), both well-executed and with distinct flavors. I also appreciated the platters of local cheeses and cured meats.
The atmosphere is rustic and welcoming, with an outdoor lawn where you can relax after your meal. The restaurant can get crowded outside, but it still offers a sincere and informal welcome. I recommend booking at least the day before.
In short: if you're looking for a quiet lunch with local dishes and attentive service in a natural setting, Chalet MontDolent is a very good choice.

01/05/2025: locale ampio tipico montanaro caldo e accogliente, con buona possibilità di parcheggio, bello il panorama circostante a poca distanza dal centro di S. Martino di Castrozza, la proprietaria Anita ti riceve personalmente come ad essere a casa propria. Cucina locale a base in gran parte di selvaggina e va in base alla stagionalità dei prodotti offerti dalla montagna. Le torte ed i dessert sono fatti dalla proprietaria in persona . Pasta fatta in casa dai tipici canederli alle tagliatelle, vari ragù a base di cinghiale , cervo ed altre selvaggine. Le cameriere servono i clienti con i costumi tradizionali del posto, il servizio è rapido. Vini ovviamente del territorio sia in bottiglia che al calice. Ingredienti tutti freschi e di ottima qualità, prezzi adeguati al servizio e alla qualità offerta.

26/07/2025: Veniamo oramai da più di 3 anni, che dire, per noi che abbiamo il bisogno di evadere dalla vita frenetica di città in Malga Millegrobbe abbiamo trovato l’eden. Posto incantevole nella natura sia d’inverno ma soprattutto in estate con i suoi mille colori per non parlare poi del ristorante, noi che veniamo da Roma e trovarsi nel menù “carbonara cimbra” mi ha fatto un po’ storcere il naso la prima volta ma con coraggio ho voluta provarla, é stato un colpo di fulmine non mi sarei mai aspettato un connubio di sapori eccezionali con i finferli, crema di formaggio vezzena e speck.
L intero staff ti fa sentire a casa partendo da Massimo il proprietario a seguire i suoi splenditi figli Sofia e Riccardo e Vittorio la loro mascotte.
E severamente vietato non andarci in questo posto se siete nei paraggi vi perderete un’emozione che si aspetta di trovare in ogni viaggio.

12/07/2025: A pochi posti do pieni voti a tutto e questo è uno di quelli.
Locale meraviglioso sia per ambientazione tipica che per pulizia.
Servizio impeccabile grazie alla ragazza che serve ai tavoli dove spiega ogni scelta (e pure le loro grappe alla fine), e alla velocità che hanno nel portare i piatti.
Cibo spettacolare con una vasta selezioni di piatti tipici selezionati da loro e ben presentati.
Costo in linea con ciò che si trova. Si paga leggermente un po' di più ma ovviamente è tutto assolutamente ricompensato.
Consigliato!

Cibo buono e personale molto cortese.
Veloce nel servire ma senza mettere troppa fretta ai commensali.
Ampia scelta di prodotti tipici locali.
