03/04/2024: I ordered a leg of lamb with artichokes and was served another side with overcooked artichokes, perhaps reheated Easter remains? My friend ordered mixed fried food with brains, but no trace of brains, but in his opinion it was good.

01/04/2024: Typical restaurant 10 minutes from Florence, on the first hills. Possibility to choose the classic Florentine or other typical dishes, very good cuts.

02/04/2024: Server was very nice. My gnudi tasted like very creamy creamed spinach. Eggplant Parmesan was presented beautifully and was a very good Non-traditional take on a traditional dish. The liver appetizer was unremarkable.

22/02/2024: One of the best culinary experiences I have had in years. The restaurant develops an original menu revisiting traditional Tuscan recipes, moving away from clichés. I can assure you that the chef makes the best ragout I have eaten in years.

04/04/2024: A little overhyped. Food was good, but by far not the best. Not sure if worth the wait and sitting in the rain (which we did and they make minimal effort to cover our table). There are better food options on Siena I don’t really know why their rating is so high. Waiters not the most welcoming.

10/05/2024: Unfortunately, this is a total tourist trap. I followed the reviews on Google and it sounded like an authentic Tuscan meal, but this restaurant is geared toward serving tourists, specifically Americans. We had many meals throughout Florence and Tuscany that were truly authentic, but I would describe this as the type of Tuscan restaurant you can find in New Jersey. The food isn’t bad it’s just average and very clichéd. There’s very little in terms of homestyle or creative Tuscan cuisine on the menu. It was also missing a little things like the balsamic vinaigrette was something that you could buy at an American grocery store and not what you would expect in Florence. The staff does a great job and no issues with the service at all. Interestingly, it was the most expensive meal we had in Italy, while also being the least memorable.

09/05/2024: We went looking for another place that we couldn't find. We liked it from the outside and even though we didn't have a reservation, they treated us wonderfully. Very friendly. The food was great and we didn't find it expensive. Highly recommended

15/05/2024: It is the ideal address for a tourist looking for traditional Italian recipes. Some reviews criticize this establishment for not being modern enough, for being a canteen for workers, I am delighted. This is exactly what I am looking for, authenticity, tradition and not dishes that we can find everywhere with more or less luxurious products. The outdoor setting at the foot of the city walls is magnificent. The service is fast and efficient, especially when you arrive at the start of the service. The price-quality ratio is very good. The only downside concerns the desserts, the quality of which needs to be improved. In summary, an experience to be repeated.

02/04/2024: I have to give my compliments to this restaurant. Compared to many other restaurants in Florence, the location is convenient, a few steps from the central market car park so even if it rains there is no problem. The location is characteristic of a true Tuscan tavern. Lights and furnishings in keeping with tradition. About the food I have to say that it is excellent. They have one of the best steaks I've ever had and I have to admit the starters are amazing too. We tried the tortelli with sauce and I must say that I found them really excellent. Prices in the Florentine average.

09/05/2024: A surprise find. Was able to get a table at the last minute and had such a great time with friends. Traditional Tuscan foods and wines. The staff, especially our waiter, were incredible. The steak was cooked greatly and the truffle gnocchi was amazing.

07/05/2024: Great food! Delicious pappardelle and the smell of sizzling meat throughout the room. The starter was also plentiful and super colorful and varied. Well done! The only criticism is that it seemed to be surrounded by vultures that as soon as a diner put the last morsel into his mouth, his plate was taken away. Twice I found myself eating alone while everything at the table had already been cleared away and, in fact, the next course was already being prepared. In theory he expects everyone to be finished and not with anguish. The two waitresses circled the table just like scavenger birds. We still had a laugh while we held the plate with one hand and made the slipper with the other! Everything was excellent and the price was average. The bread is also excellent

07/05/2024: For me this restaurant is always a favorite when it comes to Tuscan food. The quality is excellent and the service excellent. A slightly retro atmosphere and not exactly cheap prices. All in all, every now and then we're in for a quality Tuscan dinner.
