09/05/2026: After many years, I returned to this restaurant with a group of friends. I reaffirm my 3-star rating. This rating was shared by the other diners. At the owner's kind request, I'll explain the reason for the review in more detail: - I'll start with the photo of the cheesecake dessert; I left more than half because it wasn't to my taste. Two of us ordered this dessert, and we both DID NOT like it. - Some said the meat was very good, while others described it as "ordinary good." - The pasta (garlic, oil, and chili pepper), ordered by two diners, tasted good but definitely had too much oil. - The beer: very good. - I liked the service, but the person sitting next to me complained about a fork... and then about water... which the waiter accidentally spilled on his jacket and pants, staining his suit. Regarding this last point, I want to point out that the place was crowded, the waiters and the owner were overworked. Nevertheless, they worked with a smile. Mistakes can happen in a rush. Mrs. Savoca, I didn't say anything to you that evening because it was so busy; you were working so hard...it didn't seem like the right time. 08/05/2026: This isn't the first time I've dined at Corte dei Mangioni, and it's consistently excellent. The meat is always excellent, and the burrata on our platter was exceptional. What can I say? Always top-notch.

20/04/2026: Thank you for the dinner. Spaghetti with red sardines. With a small glass of limoncello. Family atmosphere. Simple, unpretentious dish. Cutlery is €2.

19/04/2026: Atmosphere is actually quite nice, you really feel that Sicilian vibe as soon as you walk in. The place has a unique, colorful character and it feels authentic. It also seemed like actual Italians were working there (at least the chef), which is always a good sign :) That said, the food was… okay. Not bad, but also not memorable. It felt a bit emotionless, like something was missing. Presentation was also just average, there’s definitely room for improvement in many areas. The most disappointing part was the service. The waitress forgot about the coffee we ordered, even though she wrote it down. Normally it wouldn’t be a big deal, but by the time we realized, my wife had already finished her wine and it just didn’t make sense to ask for it anymore. Overall, not a bad experience, but not a great one either. It just lands somewhere in the middle. The interior and atmosphere deserve praise, but the food and service didn’t quite match that level.

06/04/2026: I'm from Venice, visiting my son, who's happily settled in Palermo. He invited me to this restaurant for Easter lunch. The cuisine was perfect, top-notch, with attention to every detail. The staff was extremely friendly, and the enchanting setting with its splendid paintings is not to be missed. Adriana Pitacco

08/03/2026: There are two set menus: €50 and €80. We chose the €80 menu and were surprised when the bill came because they charged €4 per person, €4 for water, €3 for coffee, and €6 for limoncello, even though it seemed like they were offering it. The food was good, but not everything on the menu. A shame.

01/01/2026: Highly recommended seafood restaurant. I'd put the quality of the ingredients and the kindness of the staff first, making this restaurant a surefire choice for seafood. The price is reasonable for the quality of the fish.

20/03/2026: Enjoyed a couple of the appetizers including the capponata and the fried cheese; both were very flavorful and enjoyed by everyone. The entrees arrived a little out of sync with one another but the pasta with red mullet was perfectly cooked and extremely tasty.

20/03/2026: Really good and authentic Italian food made from simple and fresh ingredients with a nice wine selection to accompany the meals. So good we ate there twice!

07/03/2026: A truly delightful discovery. We stumbled upon this trattoria almost by mistake, having booked a table at the adjacent pizzeria of the same name. But as soon as we entered and saw the ambiance, we immediately changed our minds. My wife and I were there on a Friday. The atmosphere was intimate, with several separate rooms where small groups dined in complete tranquility. The first thing we noticed was the absence of the typical "revelry" that too often occurs in restaurants. Then we were drawn to the kindness and friendliness of Mr. Biondo, the owner, who is capable of entertaining you with the history of the place. The food was truly delicious, especially the pasta with the freshest sea urchins, which are brought to you open on a separate plate so you can season it as you like. And the strudel, well-seasoned and just warm, was truly delicious. As mentioned, a delightful discovery.

30/06/2025: In zona centrale, entriamo per puro caso, ambiente accogliente, accolti un sorriso, prendiamo due pizze (dai nomi legati alla tradizione letterale sicula). Che dire: fantastiche. Ottima farcitura, impasto soffice e leggero (sinonimo di una adeguata lievitazione), leggera alveatura, cornice elastica e pronta al ritorno. Veramente buone, complimenti. Servizio rapido, prezzi nella norma. Bellissima esperienza.

29/04/2026: We went for lunch on a Sunday. The dining room wasn't very large, but it was cozy and had a large fireplace in an old, well-maintained farmhouse. The appetizers and main course were good. It's a shame about the first courses, which were good, but the pasta in both was overcooked. The fixed price was acceptable.

25/04/2026: FANTASTIC experience! F A N T A S T I C A We organized our wedding at this venue, enchanted by the location offered by the venue, surrounded by nature and greenery, and by the professionalism and friendliness of the Director of the Hall, Sebastiano. The Chef (with just a few years of experience) later offered us a taste of his cuisine before the event, and we were more than satisfied with our choice. The day of the event was P E R F E C T! The Director, the entire staff, were like clockwork, working in synergy with us, the newlyweds, coordinating external services we hired, such as the band, the magician, and the photographer, without a single problem and actually making the day run perfectly! And let's not even talk about the cuisine, which fed us endlessly, all the dishes we'd chosen exactly how we wanted them and, I can assure you, delighted our guests, even the littlest ones, those with celiac disease, diabetes, favism, sulfite and tannin intolerances, and vegetarians.
