02/03/2025: Small restaurant in a quiet, secluded location, with friendly staff and very tasty local food. The portion is huge, you can't even eat it all at once. I recommend everyone to try the Casarecce pesto and shrimp dish, it's heavenly! They don't skimp on the ingredients

22/02/2025: Premetto che non sono un turista ma un palermitano che vive fuori, e che periodicamente ritorna nella sua amata città, e che conosce le prelibatezze della cicuna palermitana. Il locale si mostra vivace e pieno di giovani, bravi soprattutti ad attirare la clientela. Io e mia moglie volevamo mangiare il classico Street Food, palermitano, ma haimè siamo rimasti molto delusi. Innazi tutto, in un street food, è innammissibile pagare un coperto € 3,00 a persona. Abbiamo ordinato un tagliere per due persone alla cifra di € 20,00. Molto deludente, scarno, e di palermitano c'era ben poco, a parte la caponata, due polpette di sarde (che ho digerito la sera), e qualche panella e crocchè. Il resto nulla di originale. Tagliere bocciato....... Peccato perche la location è davvero molto bella, ma non credo di ritornare.

05/03/2025: We have just had dinner, my husband and my son, I at the court of gluttons, an experience to forget, we ordered the platter of meat for two and a pizza for me (which arrived almost at the end of the dinner, in fact I took it home whole) what can I say, I have never eaten such a dry, hard brischet despite the tasteless sauce on top (which you couldn't understand what it was), the only decent things were the chips and the two mini sandwiches with porchetta, €40 per cut which was perhaps worth half of it, an experience not to be repeated €71.80 (a steal for how we ate)

05/03/2025: We went this evening, we had two "cunzate" potatoes which were very good, a pizza which wasn't much and then a grilled beef fillet which was half meat and half connective tissue, you couldn't even cut it with a knife...More scene than quality

23/03/2025: Esta es una joya escondida. Un poco caro en mi opinión. La bienvenida fue cálida y amable. El restaurante estaba vacío (entre semana por la noche cuando visitamos) . Nos sentamos y nos ofrecieron el agua y el pan habituales. El lugar está limpio e iluminado con relajante sensación de "noche de citas". Cuando nos dieron el menú, nos mostraron los productos frescos que tienen del mar. Optamos por un tipo de sushi a partir de pescado y gambas rojas crudas (la primera vez que tuve este) , que estaba delicioso. El equilibrio adecuado de sal y frescura de ralladura y hierba que se complementa. Nuestros platos principales estaban muy simplemente cocinados - a la parrilla (pescado San Pietro - si no recuerdo mal) y servido con patatas fritas caseras. Solo un zumo de limón y pimienta molida, era celestial. Lo maridamos con el vino blanco de uva ‘Etna’. No podía comentar sobre el inodoro, ya que no usé esto durante mi visita. En general, los platos eran preciosos y el servicio era encantador. Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar.

29/03/2025: Thank you for a wonderful dinner.. we do not eat meat or fish… however we have many foods to eat and which were very good… the peperonata…. The broad bean soup… and the pasta norma!!!! Really delicious. I also liked the variety of natural wines a lot. The waiters were always very kind, even if some guests did not behave well. We will definitely return!

La caponata dello chef è stata sublime per delicatezza, retrogusto e presentazione del piatto. L'ombrina alla palermitana cucinata perfettamente rispettando canoni di qualità e stile. 22/03/2025: Had such a fun time sitting at a large table with others we got to know. Tartare of swordfish and tuna was fabulous. The pasta with sardines in a green sauce was perfect. Enjoyed the overall experience and the food is very reasonable.

31/03/2025: Wonderful! The menu isn't very extensive, but it's a delight to eat here, and the prices are super reasonable. The pasta dish with anchovies was spectacular, plus beer, €13! The staff is also very attentive and friendly. If you visit Palermo, this is a must-visit!

28/02/2025: Sicilian restaurant. Refined environment. Value for money: excellent. We chose: bucatini with Palermo-style sardines (passolina and pine nuts): excellent! Asparagus risotto with prawn tartare: delicious! Sicilian cassata: super! Sicilian strudel with whole almonds and cinnamon served with scoops of vanilla ice cream: delicious! Congratulations to the owner and all the staff. We will definitely return.

14/02/2025: Great experience at Biondo Pizzeria! You got to ask beforehand for the pizzeria because the pizzeria and the restaurant are two different places. Pizzas were huge, we ordered Nuvoletta and Profumo di Funghi (pizza with truffle): in fact, surprisingly, besides the size they were really light, as they are not very thick. A light and tasty pizza! Also the service is great. And the atmosphere is normal overall. We paid 20 euros each: in my opinion the price is quite right with respect to the overall quality of the place.

14/02/2025: Tornati dopo un paio di anni e devo dire che sono sempre al top, cucina eccellente, piatti fa pregiati ingredienti locali sapientemente elaborati e presentati, non bisogna farsi ingannare dal titolo ‘Osteria’, e un ristorante di alto livello che merita quello che si paga; servizio eccellente e la sommelier Cacile e’ di una professionalità e competenza unica, sicuramente ci torneremo!

13/02/2025: The place where this bistro is located is one of my favorites. As elegant and atmospheric as it is quiet. In the warm months, I've often had a wine or two on the terrace here - and enjoyed the ambience. The bar next door is great, the food there is very good. Today was my first time eating in the bistro. Very attentive, friendly service. Beautiful interior in the vaulted ceiling. The food was visually appealing. However, the taste was dull and boring. I mentioned that there was a lack of spices here. The answer was: Sicilians don't like spices. That may be true. I have often eaten with Michelin-starred chefs, including various 3-star chefs: it was always excellent, no matter what philosophy a chef espouses. Not a single course was tasteless. 80 euros for 1 course plus cheese plus 1 glass of sparkling wine and water. Without having any culinary pleasure. Some reviewers write "tourist trap". It's possible. Great place. Beautiful location. Wonderfully planted terrace in summer. I won't be eating there again. I expect a melange of wonderful flavors and spices from good cuisine. It should always be an unforgettable evening. At least I remember really fabulous food for years to come, whether in Madrid, Paris, New York or with chefs like Sven Elverfeld, Dieter Müller or Christian Bau, Joachim Wissler, Tim Raue from Germany.
