16/06/2025: We had a wonderful dinner here. I know the reviews have been mixed which was so shocking to us because his food was some of the best I’ve had in Europe and especially the best in Italy! I normally don’t ever leave reviews but his was so good that I felt compelled! We initially stopped in for drinks because of how hot it was (It’s middle of June so it’s 38 Celsius/100 Fahrenheit) and then Francesco, the owner explained the history of his family owned restaurant and brought us his family photos and invited us to come back for dinner after we finished our Crypt tour! We were so impressed with his family’s story and his customer service that we came back after our tour! He reccomend his favorite which was the sea bass and it was delicious and so different— flaky sea bass covered with crunchy potatoes! As well as brought us complimentary Suplis (which was amazing btw) and even better eggplant parmasan, along with great focaccia bread! Authentic classic Roman Italian! He introduced us to a new beer too (not Peroni—although it’s my fan favorite!). However, in my opinion— what was his showstopper aside from his 10/10 customer service, was my mother’s dish. He customized her dish and made her prawns that were the best shrimp I’ve ever had! Tasted like lobster, we will be coming back when we are back in Rome. Thank you Francesco— your restaurant has been the highlight of our trip :)

16/06/2025: Tourist trap, tiny portions, not tasty food, and overpriced. Stay away! We were there as a family, and it seemed like we were the only ones keeping the place going.

13/06/2025: I don't understand why the reviews are so bad. The salad, pasta, tomato and mozzarella, and bruschetta were okay, as expected in the area around the Pantheon. Prices were acceptable.

11/06/2025: -Absolute Tourist Trap -Nice Ambiente in a quite side street -Staff is friendly until you sit down -Food was okayish but not good (esp not what you expect in Italy) - horrible toilets

05/06/2025: Terrible, I ordered an Aperol, when I went to order a water the waiter, I think I was going to pay, left complaining that it was just a water.

18/06/2025: Great service and truly enjoyed the pasta funghi plus the spinach. Also highly recommend the Saltimbocca Romana. Getting on for one of the best we have ever had. As well special mention for Nello. Wonderful service. Nice outdoor patio near the Spanish Steps. Prices very reasonable.

15/06/2025: La sauce soja au lieu du ketchup, de la crème fraîche au lieu de la mayo, un agneau remplacé par un super romesteack, restaurant limite crade, l'intérieur est très étroit... Un patron exécrable qui plus est ! Le malaise est ambiant, à fuir.
