16/08/2024: Just an anonymous Pizzeria on a Rome side street, but WOW ! Exactly the sort of place you hope to find in any city. Excellent food and really good value. A spectacular pizza for €10. You cannot go wrong here.

13/08/2024: We went because of the good reviews of the food and because we have it close to the hotel, but I didn't imagine that because I was a tourist they would charge us more. I was surprised when they brought us the bill. I always check the bill and when I looked, they had charged us for two services. What is that? +€2 and €14 for pizza when the menu said €10, did they charge us €10 more for the expensive one? The waitress realized that I noticed, but even so she had already charged us and she ran inside taking the ticket and did not come out again. The food is not bad but they inflate the prices just because we are a tourist? Were we going back? Yes, we liked being close to the hotel but not anymore, what a disappointment. I don't recommend it at least if you are a tourist.

30/08/2024: Our visit to La Pace del Cervello in Rome was a culinary experience that exceeded all of our expectations. We went with my family looking to enjoy authentic Italian food, and we found a feast of flavors that will remain in our memories. We started with a Neapolitan Roman pizza, a true delicacy. The dough, thin and crispy on the edges, but with a soft and fluffy heart, had that perfect balance that is only found in the best pizzerias in Italy. Melted cheese and fresh tomato topped the pizza, providing a flavor that evoked the tradition and art of Neapolitan pizza. Next, we tried a carbonara pizza, which was a delicious surprise. The combination of the classic carbonara sauce, with its creamy mixture of egg, pecorino cheese and pancetta, on a pizza base was simply sublime. Each bite offered a contrast of textures and flavors that made us appreciate the creativity of Roman cuisine. To complete the meal, we ordered some four cheese gnocchi which turned out to be the star of the lunch. Soft and perfectly cooked, the gnocchi was bathed in a rich, creamy four-cheese sauce that struck a perfect balance between richness and softness. Each bite was a warm hug to the palate, with the flavors of the cheeses blending harmoniously. In addition to the excellent food, the service we received was exceptional. Sakin, who waited on us throughout the evening, was incredibly friendly and made us feel at home from the first moment. Their warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care for their clients made our experience even more memorable. In summary, La Pace del Cervello not only offered us an exquisite meal, but also an unforgettable experience thanks to Sakin's excellent service. Without a doubt, it is a place we will return to on our next visits to Rome.

31/12/2023: LOCATION 5 MENÙ 9 SERVIZIO 6 CONTO 6 Si mangia molto bene, peccato per il locale che non è all’altezza del conto. Materia prima eccellente, disponibilità della cucina eccellente, ho ordinato pietanze fuori menu, senza problemi sono stato servito. Ritornerò al più presto.

29/12/2023: Cibo ottimo, servizio buono, prezzo nella norma ,il problema a volte può essere il parcheggio ma dalle 12,30 si può trovare abbastanza vicino.

27/07/2024: Had an amazing first dinner here. The gnocchi was fantastic along with our other 2 dishes. The staff were accommodating and the restaurant was beautiful and traditional. Would definitely recommend !!

31/05/2024: Bad food, bad service and it doesn't help that they're located off the main road. Food cold and bland, service doesn't care at all and food (except pizza) comes to the table cold. Never again

15/07/2024: Sono andato in questo ristorante attirato dai prezzi competitivi delle pietanze proposte, ho cenato con un antipasto, un primo e un secondo e il conto ha confermato che è un ristorante onesto dove si può mangiare a un costo contenuto. Ho preso come antipasto il cocktail di gamberi, il gusto era gradevole, meno gradevole il fatto che non fossero del tutto puliti e dovessi provvedere a togliere le code con le dita nella maionese. La cacio e pepe, fatta fedelmente alla ricetta tradizionale era buona. Non buon il saltimbocca alla romana, la carne era un pò dura , mentre il prosciutto crudo immasticabile perché gommoso, il piatto nel suo complesso era anche malamente assemblato. Se per te la priorità non è il top della qualità e del gusto ma ti accontenti perché dai la priorità a quanto spendi il ristorante Caligola è il posto giusto.

12/07/2024: In data 20 giugno sono stato a Roma per alcune incombenze lavorative. Mi hanno consigliato questo locale, che peraltro è vicino alla metro (lo consiglio anche per la posizione, che è veramente tattica!) e devo dire che mi sono trovato proprio bene. Io e la mia ragazza abbiamo mangiato un carciofo fritto, spaghetti col pesce (ora mi sfugge il nome esatto) e due dolci veramente buoni. Il mio unico rimpianto è non aver preso la carbonara o la gricia, benchè consigliati dal cameriere Emanuele. Ecco, ora che l'ho menzionato devo dire una cosa: sono stato al ristorante tante volte e i camerieri che mi hanno colpito per cortesia e professionalità sono - in trent'anni - due. Emanuele è uno dei due. Grazie per l'esperienza e spero di tornare. Sergio

21/07/2024: The worst experience in Rome so far. We ordered antipasti and a second piatti. We hadn‘t finished the antipasti yet when they arrived with the main course. So we had to give them the unfinished plate to make space for the main course. We ordered the Filetto. The server informed us that the Filetto is out but they have something else that is similar to filetto we said ok. When the meat arrived, it was an absolutely disgusting piece containing more fat and bone than meat. The ‚green pepper sauce’ was a watery something with shredded green pepper flakes on top. The meat had a strange taste. Trought the stay, the service was annoyed and when we complained, they began to argue and telling us we didn‘t know anything about meat. Than they started talking about us in italian. Overall an absolutely terrible experience. Stay far away!

15/10/2023: Ottimo posto, essenziale, ci andavamo negli anni 80 e così è rimasto. Ultimamente ha cambiato gestione ma il menù è rimasto identico, la pizza che sbuffa e i coccodrilli sempre ottimi.

26/05/2024: I took my elderly parents on a Sunday. We didn’t have reservations and the place was packed! The nice gentleman at the front was very accommodating and squeezed us into a small table on the patio. We ate the pasta family style. Everything we ordered was delicious. As we were informed prior to sitting, the table was a bit small and the waiter, without being asked, re-plated our individual plates so that we weren’t too crowded. We started with the procciutto, buffalo mozzarella, and tomato. Everything tasted so fresh! Next we had the tagliolini with speck and zucchini, house ravioli with a delicious cream sauce and cannelloni stuffed with meat and topped with a red sauce. I am not one to write a review of restaurants,but this experience was lovely and I had to share!
