The name can be misleading because there is no trace of an old-fashioned trattoria, having said that the food is good even if the prices are higher than average, but we must take into account the location of the place, a place frequented by many tourists.

Very positive experience, across the entire range of "traditional" courses, from the brains to the Milanese cutlet, to the saffron risotto with ossobuco. All accompanied by a very attentive, competent service with above-average care.

Definitely a high-level trattoria where you can eat Milanese specialties. Excellent raw materials, fast but attentive and accurate service. Refined environment. The prices are not low but the premises justify them.

Con la cotoletta alla milanese che ti servono qui c’è un solo, insormontabile problema: una volta mangiata, ogni altra volta altrove rischierà di essere una delusione. Superlativa. Il locale poi è veramente delizioso. Uno di quei luoghi che rispettano la tradizione della cucina locale con la qualità e la quantità. Segnalazione del cuore.

Locale dove alla sera è necessaria la prenotazione, menu con specialità tipiche milanesi tutte ben preparate e servire con professionalità, carta dei vini molto fornita, conto nella norma per Milano!

Osteria Al Portone

27/03/2024: The Milanese cutlet is excellent, the pasta with artichokes is not very significant. Pleasant furnishings but unpleasantly low temperature due to system failure
19/03/2024: Restaurant with typical Milanese menu. The Milanese starter was very good and the risotto with osso bucco was excellent! Very good and competent staff. I will gladly return.
