18/07/2025: We were a group of eight, and unfortunately, the general consensus was that the online reviews were significantly overstated compared to the actual experience. We started with a shared appetizer for the table, which was generally satisfactory. However, neither the first nor the second courses fully convinced any of us. The dishes weren't bad, but they weren't memorable either: the flavors weren't strong and the presentation was average. The tartare, in particular, was a real disappointment. The bill was quite high compared to what we actually ate. Frankly, we were surprised to see such high ratings, given what we considered to be a mediocre experience. Perhaps it was a bad day for the food, but out of eight people, no one was completely satisfied.

18/07/2025: I came for a special occasion and was unfortunately disappointed. I had no complaints about the dishes, which were excellent, but we were perplexed by the waiters' behavior. Perhaps, seeing how young we were compared to other customers, they were less considerate. We ordered a first course and a main course, and after finishing those, we wanted a second course, but without a word, the waiter took away our plates, cutlery, and bread basket. Needless to say, we left without even ordering dessert because we felt overlooked and left out.

A simple, unpretentious place, where you'll find authentic flavors, the kind you'd expect at Nonna Lombarda's. Balanced dishes, generous portions, and a special welcome. All nestled in the heart of the Navigli district.

22/06/2025: The service attitude is average, the price is high, the food is small and not tasty. Except that the environment seems barely acceptable, the rest is hard to describe. We were polite to the waiter, but it seems that we didn't get the respect we deserved. He was very enthusiastic to the locals, and he dared to roll his eyes when asked to pack something. It's interesting. Avoid it.

15/06/2025: Excellent setting for an elegant business lunch, the staff was very courteous and fast. Portions of adequate size and excellently cooked. Excellent risotto alla milanese.

02/07/2025: A warm and authentic restaurant in Milan, far from the tourist traps. We ate the delicious Milanese risotto with bone marrow. The waitress was kind and helpful. I highly recommend it!

26/06/2025: A charming place that takes you back to a now hidden Milan of the 30s/40s. Good, genuine, and refined dishes. The yellow risotto is a must have! The staff is discreet but very attentive. I recommend it for a business lunch or for a romantically light dinner. 😉 Very fair price-quality ratio.

13/07/2025: Trattoria anni 80 con menu' altrettanto datato. Quantità abbondanti ma la qualità un po' manca. Considerando che è un locale in periferia di Milano (San Donato Milanese) è piuttosto costoso. La nota più piacevole è sicuramente il personale molto gentile. Non invita a venirci una seconda volta.

30/06/2025: Such a quaint restaurant with Milanese and Italian classics. We had the ravioli of the day and the pici, Hugo spritz, Italian meatballs appetizer. All were incredibly delicious. Excrement service and atmosphere. We will eat there again before leaving Milan!

At lunch they only offer first courses (homemade gnocchi or pasta with 5/6 different toppings) with a fixed menu, 1 first course, bread, water and coffee for 11 euros. Possibility of combining a platter of cold cuts or cheeses or mixed.

02/07/2025: The quality of the service always surprises me, almost like the wine list which is of the highest level. The menu always changes and it is useless to get attached to a dish, they will take it away anyway 😂. However, the style is unmistakable and I consider Gloria one of the 10 restaurants you definitely have to go to in Milan. And, I repeat, the service always manages to surprise me

The quality of the food is great, with a fantastic selection of premium meat cuts cooked to perfection. Prices are very reasonable for the level of quality offered. Their wine and champagne list is extensive and features some truly prestigious options. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience without the pretentious atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back!

09/07/2025: We had a fantastic meal today. The pizza menu for €9 with a drink, delicious and large pizzas. My half-meal with risotto was delicious. The service was fast, friendly, and the food was typical Italian for a reasonable price.

29/06/2025: When I return to Milan to visit my family, a fixed stop is always the Aurora restaurant. The place is characteristic, with attention to detail and always impeccably clean. The owners, friendly and professional, convey all the passion and experience gained in over twenty years of business: you can clearly feel that they welcome customers as if they were guests in their home. The menu offers traditional Milanese dishes alongside the great classics of Italian cuisine. The first and second courses based on fish are excellent and the vast selection of pizzas, designed to satisfy all tastes, is not to be missed. The lactose-free option is worthy of note, perfect for those allergic to dairy products. Another great note of merit is the quality/price ratio, congratulations for maintaining a high level offer with prices within everyone's reach and abundant dishes. See you soon!!
