Coming to Milan and not trying their ossobuco is like missing Piazza Duomo. Served with their signature Risotto Giallo, it's the most tender and balanced in the city. No disregard for the Cotoletta and Mondeghili, which are also more than delicious. Sticking to appetizers, our recommendation is to not be afraid of vegetables and try the giardiniera: crunchy vegetables that, when prepared individually—according to the chef—retain their flavor. The wine list and dessert menu are also top-notch, and we recommend the sbriciolona—not exactly Milanese, but still true to the Lombardy region. The trattoria-like atmosphere makes for a relaxed and unpretentious dinner, as it should be when dining on traditional cuisine. Bravo!

More than positive experience, I ate well, I really liked the place, what can I say, nothing, keep it up, you are GREAT COMPLIMENTS FOR EVERYTHING FROM THE KITCHEN TO THE PLACE... sooner or later I will definitely return again, well done

The food was excellent, typical milanesa, the menu was short, the service was fast and very friendly, not very touristy, we went with children, not cheap but not expensive at all, everything was very good.

Real experience not touristic trap around Duomo. Full of older local people, if you care for real food not ING stuff go.

Really nice place, it really feels like being in old Milan, a nice atmosphere is created with Milanese songs in the background... the staff is kind and attentive to your every request, the quality of the food is excellent, we will definitely be back

It has everything you'd expect from a typical Milanese restaurant, and it shows. I would have given it 6 stars for the atmosphere; Jannacci and Nanni Svampa deserve that and more.

Beautiful place, classic decor, top-quality food and wines, and always helpful staff. The price is fair for the quality and size of the portions. Perhaps the classic appetizer could have been a little heavier, but it's perfect for a couple.

18/05/2026: One of the best restaurants with traditional Milanese cuisine. Their salad is very tender and fresh. Their osmobuko is wonderfully cooked and served on risotto ala Milanese. Wonderful local wine labels. Their desserts are one better than the other.... I highly recommend it!!!!
17/05/2026: I went there two years ago and was pleasantly surprised, but I didn't leave a review. I went back yesterday and was even more surprised at how little has changed (which isn't a given, given that many restaurants lower their quality year after year). The asparagus appetizers are fantastic, and the mondeghili are delicious. The risottos in general (yesterday we had the asparagus one) are good, creamy, and beautifully filled!!! The desserts, tarte tatin and zabaglione, are amazing in terms of flavor and balance (they don't make you sick). Exceptional staff, including a sommelier who recommends wine based on the dishes you choose. A place of the heart.

27/05/2026: Such a hidden gem 💎. Everything about this restaurant is a true masterpiece of an experience and the food is just tooo very good. If you want to experience something true and original with a picturesque garden this is the place !
