We went to La Pobbia for a romantic dinner. Upon entering the restaurant we were surrounded by the colors and scents of a Milan that is now difficult to find. Friendly welcome; simple and immediate menu, classy service, elegant but without excess environment. Unmissable for those who love Milanese cuisine. I highly recommend: strozzapreti, meat tartare, pie with a chocolate heart; we accompanied everything with a glass of good Dolcetto. The dinner we wanted... overlooking the garden. If you're interested, there is a decent selection of scotch whiskies. It is clear that the menu at La Pobbia is very attentive to the seasonality of the products; I'm very curious to see what he will offer us in the next season.

It is part of the history of Milan. And it has been managed by the same Anzaghi family for decades. Impeccable food and service. Strictly Lombard cuisine, not to mention Milanese... It's a shame that the abstruse municipal regulations prohibit the use of the fireplace which gave the place a very special atmosphere. Absolutely worth trying

Locale storico di cucina milanese. Molto bello l'ingresso con tutti i suoi elementi storici, banali e un po' datate le altre sale. Servzio professionale e cortese, con qualche disattenzione più che perdonabile. Cucina tipica, cibo buono ma non eccelso. Tutto gustoso, nulla di memorabile però. Visto il prezzo delle pietanze ci si potrebbe aspettare qualcosa di più. Per antipasto, piatto unico, dolce e una bottiglia di vino base divisa in 4, siamo sui 70 euro a testa. Prezzi un po' pretenziosi per una trattoria di cucina tipica meneghina, non propriamente centrale.

Nonostante la presenza fissa da anni nella rinomata guida ai ristoranti, l’esperienza e’ freddina nell’accoglienza e il locale piuttosto datato rispetto alla media di ristoranti di cucina milanese. Mondeghili buoni, cotoletta alla milanese tanta, ma veramente pesante e onestamente non memorabile. Dolci impegnativi, prezzi alti.

07/04/2024: Excellent Lombard restaurant. We had the risotto with saffron, the osso buco alla milanese, plus zabaglione (in the photo) and tartetatin di mele for dessert. All was very good. The risotto and pasta are finished in a great bowl dug in grand padano cheese. It is highly recommend that you make a reservation in advance.

The grilled artichokes had a really nice flavor, and the gnocco with pumpkins and artichokes was a great flavor combination. The ossobuco with Milanese risotto was done very well. The service and the ambiance is great in this restaurant, and they serve little appetizers which also taste delicious. The prices are a bit high, but it is very worth it to have a local meal.

04/04/2024: The best dinner of my life, I come back here every year and wait every time for the day of booking, as if it were a special event (spoiler it is), I will never get tired of this place, I highly recommend sliced ​​meat and meat in general, 10 and praise
