I tried this Milanese osteria I found on Maps.
The place is cute inside, with Italian music and a pleasant atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and quick, and we found a seat right away; the sweet treats offered at the end of the meal were also appreciated. The portions are really generous, so it's best to go on an empty stomach.
Unfortunately, the dishes didn't entirely convince me: the flavors were unbalanced; for example, the gorgonzola was too full of walnuts. The location isn't the best either, especially if you're eating outside, as it's on a narrow street with lots of traffic.

By far the best dining experience I've had in almost a year in Italy.
Staff was friendly, relaxed, and helpful. We never felt rushed.
We tried polenta with gorgonzola and cow tongue with salsa verde as appetizers, and for main courses we had the snail risotto, bone marrow risotto, and donkey stew with polenta. Every single item was spectacular; the salsa verde was perfect for the cow tongue, and the donkey stew was particularly impressive.
The bread included in the cover was notably fresh, and the local wine recommended by the server was very nice.
Prices were very reasonable (especially given the quality and serving size), except perhaps the aperitivi which were €10 each.
Many people came with no reservation and were seated without problem.
Highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic Lombardian cuisine.

An osteria near the Navigli canals that has remained true to the original concept of an osteria. Nothing pretentious, just down-to-earth, authentic, and full of flavor. The service is simple but friendly, and the restaurant is also dog-friendly. The atmosphere is very cozy both inside and out. A particular advantage is its location in a less touristy part of the Navigli, yet it's still easily accessible. The prices are also reasonable. Despite its proximity to the Navigli, the osteria is situated on a quiet side street. A visit is definitely worthwhile.

The fried brain was excellent. The waiters were very quick and attentive.
A note to the restaurant: You say this is an Osteria and that beer glasses are not provided. However, if you sell beer, you should provide the glasses.
