The location is also beautiful, but... since the outdoor area is an enclosed courtyard, it's unacceptable not to have installed anything to create air circulation, and it's unacceptable not to have treated for mosquitoes and the like. Speaking of the food, everything was excessively salty, and the wine and water were always consistently warm.

07/06/2026: Very nice, quaint place. The classic Milanese cutlet is large and delicious, fried in oil and drizzled with butter. I had the pappardelle with porcini mushrooms, which were very savory. The menu is lovely, classic Milanese fare. There are definitely many dishes worth trying.

06/06/2026: I'm giving it four stars only because it's a simple, homey place. But in its segment, it deserves five. A simple trattoria, with a homey Milanese menu. We tried the delicious, crispy mondeghili and the risotto with ossobuco, which was truly flavorful and well-cooked. It's on par with many of Milan's more prestigious restaurants. Highly recommended, even for those looking for simplicity and quality at a reasonable price.

17/07/2026: We had a lovely evening: the fish was truly excellent and fresh, paired with good wine. Kudos to the waiters, who were extremely helpful, professional, and kind. The only downside was the owner's welcoming attitude: a little more of a smile from him would have created the perfect atmosphere and made the diner feel truly at home (especially considering the prices aren't particularly affordable). Overall, however, a very positive experience. We'll be back!

Every time I've brought friends or family to visit, they've asked me to return next time. This is to tell you what a place La Madonnina is: excellent food, friendly staff, and a unique location. Ask for a table with a lake view in the summer and definitely try the polenta uncia—you won't regret it.

23/05/2026: We had a fabulous foie gras risotto, which was amazing, and a classic Milanese risotto, which was equally delicious. We also tried the Milanese cutlet, which was generous and tender. The place is very charming and well-maintained. The owner was friendly and gave us suggestions on what to try. Highly recommended for savoring the authentic flavors of Brianza.

03/06/2026: I ate very well. The dishes were not ordinary. Ravioli filled with cheese and leeks, seasoned with butter and honey. For the main course, a roast duck beef, also very good. The staff was friendly and efficient. Fast service.

18/05/2026: After yet another visit, Mirta confirms itself as an excellent restaurant and a favorite for me, having been frequenting it ever since it opened. Everything here is delicious, and the menu changes frequently. A fine blend of Northern Italian cuisine from a talented Lambrate-Uruguayan chef who has a unique and special flair for white meats.

10/07/2026: We came for lunch because this restaurant had been recommended to us, and we were truly delighted. We chose the €20 business menu, with generous portions and excellent value. The pizzoccheri were truly delicious; we weren't expecting it, but we loved it. The pasta all'amatriciana was also very flavorful and plentiful. For main courses, we had a cutlet with fries and a roast beef with peperonata: both were excellent, especially the cutlet, which was nice and crispy on the outside and very tasty. The staff was extremely friendly, and the young man who served us was truly helpful and courteous. The place is very charming, with both indoor and outdoor seating. We ate outside, and in our opinion, it was the best choice. The bill was more than reasonable, the food excellent, and the service pleasant. We had a great time and will definitely be back!
