18/02/2025: Dinner during the week, reservation for two. It was a super enjoyable evening. The food and the atmosphere are top marks, warm and welcoming with a fireplace and well-furnished rooms. The waitress was very kind and attentive to everything, taking our jackets, helping us choose each course on the menu, which was rich but not confusing. Not too many dishes but well chosen and presented. The ones we got: exceptional. Like duck breast or little guitars with ragù. Plus all the little samples that the chef presented to us as a welcome, lentil cream, risotto with parmesan cream... and the appetizers. At the end of the evening we said that we were there to celebrate our anniversary... well, surprisingly they brought us a delicious carrot cake with a lit star, plus they wanted us to taste their homemade ice cream (a gem)... not to mention the buffet of sugared almonds and sweets at the end. An experience I would do once a month. The staff were attentive, friendly and very kind. The price? very honest, not what you might expect from a restaurant like this. I vote TEN!

31/01/2025: We were largely satisfied: everything was perfect, from the location to the professionalism and courtesy of the staff. We had the artichoke lasagna, tagliolini with meat sauce and octopus; the dishes largely met our expectations and the quality/price ratio was excellent. Highly recommended and I will definitely return when I pass through Varese

01/03/2025: Super experience, every time. The place is very beautiful, hidden on a hill side. The outdoor space is beautiful, full of greenery, zero insects. It is also good in August thanks to its exposure. The interior is equally beautiful, there is a quantity of wine bottles that leaves you speechless. The food is very good and quite unique. The service is very friendly and approachable but professional. I come here often

Interesting tasting menu, all very good, perhaps some dishes a little excessively experimental but overall great work and mastery. I will definitely go back because it was great

13/02/2025: Posto da provare. Menu’ con imbarazzo della scelta, sia pesce che carne. Ho provato due piatti di pesce: antipasto 4x4 e il dentice. Antipasto perfetto con pesce in quattro cotture differenti. Dentice ottimo con carciofi fritti. Ho cenato con amici in una deliziosa saletta con tavolo ovale, perfetta per chiacchierare con la giusta privacy. Servizio puntuale e preciso. Buona cantina dei vini. Ci ritornerò sicuramente

04/02/2025: Well-kept and recently modernized place. A modern farmhouse complete with a fireplace room. A courtyard for children to play during breaks. Attentive and trained staff. Quality products. The cold cuts are excellent, especially the lard which you can taste in your mouth. The Jerusalem artichoke risotto FANTASTIC!!!! The casserole is too loaded, too much meat and too few vegetables.

18/01/2025: Vorrei intanto premiare l’atmosfera molto rilassante e lo staff molto gentile, qualità non affatto banali. Siamo stati proprio bene, è stata una cena buona, soddisfacente e di qualità. Hanno anche particolari attenzioni verso i più piccoli . Lo consiglio!

16/02/2025: Ristorante con cucina casereccia, piatti molto abbondanti e cucinati bene. noi siamo stati la domenica con menù fisso che comprende antipasti caldi e freddi ( tagliere salumi, giardiniera, cotechino e lenticchie, polenta e Zola e torta salata), 2 primi (lasagna con ragù di capriolo molto delicato e risotto con carciofi), 2 secondi ( arrosto con patate e polenta taragna con salsiccia) infine assaggi di 3 dolci ( millefoglie che si scioglieva in bocca, crostata e torta pere e cioccolato , forse la meno buona..il che è tutto dire), per finire caffè digestivo fatto con ingredienti particolari. il costo del menù è 35 escluse bevande. ottimo servizio . da ritornare ad assaggiare altri piatti della cucina lombarda

10/02/2025: Dopo tante cene con amici negli anni in questo magnifico ristorante (ops...osteria), l'ho suggerito a mio suocero 🥰 per festeggiare gli 80 anni con tutti i parenti. Spettacolo. 14 persone tutte entusiaste. Della location. Della qualità di cibo e bevande. Della simpatia e disponibilità del personale. Degli altri commensali. Della formula che permette di dedicarsi alla conversazione mentre si mangia in una scaletta di portate celestiali. Tutto perfetto. Ma non il perfetto antipatico. Il perfetto perfetto, quello che ti porta ad essere felice e soddisfatto, sapendo che oltre non si può andare in nessun locale al mondo. Bravissimi!👏👏👏👏👏

10/02/2025: Very welcoming family-run restaurant, traditional local dishes really well executed and tasty. The first courses cost €15, the second courses vary from €19 to €22, desserts €6. The choice of wines is also good and the glass of prosecco offered as a welcome. Parking a little difficult, you have to move away a little.

24/02/2025: The restaurant is located approximately 850 meters above sea level and this allows you to enjoy a magnificent view of the Lecco side of the lake. The location is very beautiful and with attention to the smallest details. Unfortunately the service is quite miserable. The staff were rude and arrogant and above all unhelpful. We modified the order by adding an appetizer, the waitress annoyedly said that she would stop the order so that the dishes did not all arrive at the same time. Which unfortunately didn't happen and halfway through the starter all the dishes arrived. Mostly another chimney worker pointed out to us that it was our fault as we had changed the order... Meanwhile the ordered glasses of wine had not yet arrived. We had great difficulty soliciting the glasses as most of the waitresses we tried to call turned their heads. In the end the glasses arrived when we were almost finished. Another sore point is the quality of the food which for the price paid is not worth it… The sciatt had nothing to do with those from Valtellina and the bresaola wasn't even seasoned. The venison sausage was good but the sauce covered all the flavor of the venison. The strudel that should have been crunchy was instead soft...probably because it wasn't fresh.

16/02/2025: Un’esperienza davvero interessante per location, qualità dell’accoglienza, qualità del cibo e professionalità. Impossibile non consigliarlo. Siamo stati letteralmente coccolati dal maitre Stefano e dai suoi collaboratori. Abbiamo assaggiato tutte le specialità locali e in particolare il risotto con luganega in cialda di parmigiano, una squisita selezione di salumi suini autoctoni e un valpolicella davvero strepitoso. La location è indescrivibile, un casolare davvero accogliente che ti riporta indietro nel tempo.

15/02/2025: Una location davvero unica, in questo antico convento del 600 sapientemente ristrutturato. Una perfetta cura dei particolari, dai servizi di piatti e bicchieri, che ricordano quelli della nonna, all'arredamento. La cucina lombarda rivisitata in chiave moderna è deliziosa e con porzioni adeguate. Il personale gentile e attento. Sicuramente lo consiglio.

03/02/2025: Abbiamo provato questa trattoria perchè ne avevamo sentito dire gran bene e in effetti è stata un'ottima esperienza. Piatti tradizionali ma rivisitati, in particolare lombardi ma non solo, ben preparati e con ingredienti di qualità. Servizio cortese e veloce, ambiente semplice ed accogliente, prezzi nella media per Milano. Torneremo di sicuro.

15/02/2025: Typical Lombard cuisine. Fallavecchia is a typical rustic village in the Ticino countryside. Also ideal for children who, after eating, can run around undisturbed among the cows and chickens.

31/12/2024: I had lunch with family and friends, an essential menu, made up of dishes from Lombardy (more from Brianza and Bergamo) but well varied between tastes and genres. Only 2 starters, 4 first courses and 4 second courses, if you are vegetarian you have little choice. I had a starter with local salami (which had very little local flavor) and sciatt, Milanese risotto and as a second course a braised meat which was not on the menu (this certainly deserved praise), I also tried tagliatelle and casoncelli, all good and tasty, dishes that recall the grandparents' kitchen, when someone still had the time and passion for cooking. Small place, made up of 2 rooms with typical furnishings of '60s-'70s trattorias, only one waiter who knew how to manage all the tables well. Before ordering, the waiter took care of the little ones by making their dishes arrive first. I would say the prices are a little high, €16 for a salami starter and for the main courses with polenta seem a little too much to me. Very little parking outside, but there are some places nearby.
