31/03/2024: Simple, clean and very nice tavern close to the Politeama Rossetti theatre. Very friendly waitress, dishes cooked very well and plentiful. The two of us had a soup of the day (legumes and cereals), some prawn gnocchi (fabulous) and we shared the frico, a typical Trieste dish with polenta and cheese. Excellent value for money, absolutely recommended!!

Cristina, in particular, made the evening unforgettable for my boyfriend, taking care of my wishes and creating a perfect corner for us in the room, next to the lit fireplace, with surprising ideas and impeccable execution. Her sweetness and attention to detail helped make the experience even more memorable. I wish I could give more than 5 stars, because the "Al Monastero" restaurant deserves them all for its extraordinary culinary experience, enchanting atmosphere and impeccable service. It is a true jewel in the heart of Friuli-Venezia Giulia. I highly recommend it!
