23/09/2025: I've been to this restaurant several times. The prosciutto is definitely top-notch, among the best in the area. Excellent first courses and exquisite desserts. Generous portions. Fast and courteous service. I've never used the rooms.

22/09/2025: How wonderful! We were looking for a place in Trieste where we could sample the most characteristic Triestine dishes. We were greeted with a smile by the owner and staff, who were truly attentive to their customers' needs. We had the opportunity to sample cured meats, artisanal cheeses, local pasta dishes, and desserts (my Gubana with a glass of grappa will remain etched in my memory forever). I'll be back as soon as possible. Well done Mara.

07/09/2025: Traditional dishes cooked simply yet deliciously. Delicious cjarsons, tasty and balanced frico with polenta, and incredibly tender pork cheeks. Service is prompt, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is welcoming—you'll feel right at home.

28/09/2025: Excellent experience! We stumbled upon it "by chance" on a Sunday lunchtime after we'd decided to go to the beach from Udine. We called 20 minutes early and were very helpful; the owner (I think) responded with "cumbinin" 😊 When we arrived, they were super cheerful and quick to set us a table on the garden veranda, even on a busy day for them. Fresh, local food: two excellent appetizers and an equally good first and second course. Honorable mention for the cabbage on the side; I could have eaten 20 more dishes of it. The service, the location, and the lunch crowned this sunny Sunday at the end of September. We'll definitely be back!

03/08/2025: Today, on the occasion of the exhibition that is held every year in Illegio, we went to Mariute for lunch. I must say that both the place and the food are of a standard that is nothing short of perfect, good and tasty. I recommend anyone in the area to go and visit this fantastic place.

24/07/2025: Fantastic food, regional, innovative, and exciting. The quality is very high. The prices are quite reasonable. The waitress was overwhelmed by the high volume of service. It's a shame the other staff members standing around didn't help her.

05/09/2025: We are so happy that we stopped at this place while driving from the Dolomites to Slovenia. Everything was great, but our favourites were the Smoked Black Angus and the Beef Tartare as appetizers. Very friendly people!

31/08/2025: In a sudden craving for frico, I started searching Google for a place to satisfy this pressing desire. I tried the frico with onions and strisulis, the classic frico, and of course the crispy frico, which took me back to my childhood in a nanosecond... Amazing. Must try.

13/09/2025: A decidedly welcoming place, spacious inside (with a couple of rooms) and featuring a large and delightful outdoor terrace. The food is essentially "Friulian style," with a superb potato and leek frico (the best I've tasted in three days in the area). The charcuterie boards are also excellent. Tradition and quality are the hallmarks of a family business that has been in business for generations!

28/08/2025: Dinner with well-made ingredients, generous portions, fast and friendly service, a family atmosphere, and very reasonable prices. The lovely garden also features a small children's corner.

30/09/2025: Good food, a modest menu (which is a good thing, actually, excellent), a modest wine list, and, as far as I could tell, very fair markups. Very kind staff, efficient service. Dessert (home-made gelato) was amazing. Leave room for dessert :-) However... I ordered the fillet off the menu: honestly, it was very bad, and I even told the waiter so openly. It wasn't tender; it was full of tendons and sinews... so much so that I asked if it was actually fillet. I was told it was fillet, but not the center part. Okay, I trust them, it was fillet, but the customer doesn't care which part (beginning, middle, or end) is the chef's problem, not the customer's... the fillet must be tender, clean, and perfect. Period. Moral of the story: if you come here, eat dessert without hesitation, but don't order the fillet.

13/10/2025: First of all, the staff was amazing, we felt very welcome! We had a great room in the second building, they guided us all over the street until the door. The breakfast had a lot of options, even cake and was more than enough. There was a secure parking lot for the motor cycle. Around ten minutes walking to the city center.

12/10/2025: Very nice, spacious, and clean room. Breakfast with a wide variety of excellent quality products, from sweet to savory. Dinners with very good dishes that satisfy everyone's needs. Professional and friendly staff.

04/10/2025: A business trip lasting about a week, a potential disaster, turned into a delightful stay in a comfortable, well-equipped, and clean property with a truly remarkable restaurant and wine bar. The food was authentic, tasty, and more than reasonably priced. The service was impeccable, despite our very unusual schedule. I would recommend it to anyone in the area, even if it's just for a nice dinner. An additional thank you to Linda and Fabiana <3

04/10/2025: We stayed at this gem of a farmhouse for a week during a business trip. Fabiana and her family welcomed us with kindness and enthusiasm, meeting our every need. Excellent breakfast, top-quality dinner, and a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere made our stay memorable. It's also convenient for traveling. I hope to return as soon as possible!
