06/12/2024: Typical Friulian restaurant, with the fogolar turned on in winter. Traditional dishes, but also interesting variations and proposals, even for a vegetarian like me. I frequent it often and I really enjoy it. Adequate prices. Very recommended!

30/11/2024: Wonderful place, excellent food, impeccable and very friendly service. Discovered by chance, I personally tasted the frico and what can I say: Perhaps the best I've ever eaten! Not to mention the dessert, puff pastry with Chantilly cream and warm berries: a cloud! Very peaceful environment, I recommend it to everyone!!!!

11/11/2024: I don't know about the rooms, but from what I hear they are wonderful, the food is excellent and as for the classic wine at the bar it is the least expensive in San Daniele and it is top.
El paron le salvadi ma le un touch of Pan.

06/07/2024: Absolutely a spectacle! The quality of the raw materials is remarkable! The place inside is very characteristic, I really liked it, there is also space outside if you want, but inside the environment really has personality. The raw meat was good, the cut was buttery, the aubergine was amazing, the Bavarian cream was a caress, very good in the kitchen, very good in the dining room. Remarkable! Really good!

Do you see it full of people? So you can eat well there!
And so it was!
Stumbled upon it by chance and it was a great discovery! Here you can find delicious Friuli Venezia Giulia style dishes. Ever eaten "radic e fricis"? Mangja and walls!
The tuna tartare is delicious, the ravioli is delicious, their version of frico is very interesting!
Welcoming and kind service, very helpful and approachable.
We will happily return!

31/08/2024: Lunch passing through Trieste. We wanted a typical Friulian place and this little trattoria is just like that. Mara cooks everything fresh, typical dishes of the area, homemade pasta and desserts all made by her. Delicious Cjarsons stuffed with herbs and salted ricotta cream, a must-try frico. Right portions. The environment is familiar like in grandmother's house, the very kind owner.
31/08/2024: Wonderful, family restaurant. Cjalson's a discovery! Goulash tender and fine... optimal (as an Austrian I can judge it), as dessert Gubana with grappa another discovery!! Mango sorbetto wonderful. Boss and staff heartwarming and competent. Reserve!

20/11/2024: Simply great. We had to look for new accommodation in Udine at short notice because the accommodation we had booked was canceled. The boss personally arranged everything necessary so that we could still enjoy the short trip. We wanted 2 nights, but he said there was only accommodation for 1 night. 5 minutes later and after a few phone calls, we had a top room for 2 nights.

16/10/2024: In anzitutto il posto è molto bello dal punto di vista del paesaggio e l’interno del ristorante accogliente. Abbiamo concordato il menù essendo un pranzo di famiglia di 20 persone, la scelta è ampia e i cibi accattivanti, c’è solo l’imbarazzo della scelta! La qualità dei piatti e delle materie prime è ottima e il vino 🍷 squisito, una menzione speciale al frico croccante in entrata e alle carni! tutti gli invitati sono rimasti soddisfatti! Da consigliare in generale per ogni occasione ⭐️

Personale cordiale, sorridente, accogliente. Bella struttura storica, pulito. Luca e Barbara insieme al loro personale accolgono i clienti

Excellent food and quick service.
It has recently changed management. The menu is decidedly simpler and the methods are more informal but still passed with flying colors if you are looking for a place for a simple but respectful lunch near the industrial area.
Average prices.
