27/04/2025: Di passaggio in zona..chiamiamo e riusciamo a prenotare l’ultimo tavolo…
Già che sia tutto pieno ci fa capire che si deve mangiare bene.
Con l’arrivo dei piatti abbiamo avuto la conferma cibo ottimo a prezzi buoni ed onesti.
22/04/2025: Abbiamo mangiato in questa trattoria a Pasquetta,all'arrivo vedendolo da fuori ci siamo chiesti: "ma dove siamo capitati?",all'interno la domanda è rimasta più o meno la stessa...per quanro riguarda il cibo invece devo dire che era buono ed infatti il locale era pieno.

17/05/2025: Situata in un punto romantico vicino al ruscello, con una bella terrazza esterna ed un piacevole ambiente rustico interno, è una tipica osteria con una cucina friulana che ci è piaciuta tanto da ritornare anche per una seconda sera nel nostro soggiorno ad Udine. Abbiamo apprezzato molto i tagliolini con il prosciutto San Daniele e il baccalà mantecato con la polenta, ma anche il tradizionale frico, la gubana e la scelta dei vini. Servizio veloce e personale molto simpatico.
10/05/2025: la terrazza esterna merita una sosta per pranzare, acqua limpidissima sotto e piantetutto attorno, crostini da antipasto ottimi, tagliolini al prosciutto ottimi ,baccalà e frico ache questi ottimi consiglio prenotazione, personale giovane e preparato

25/04/2025: A great place. We stopped for cicchetti.
Good and varied.
The wine list by the glass is also very good and valid.
Correct prices also considering that the cicchetti here are NOT as small as in other parts (it's true here they cost 3 euros but they are really bigger!).
The restaurant opens onto 2 parts: one the street where you can cicchetta and the other the square where there are outdoor tables.
And inside in the basement there is the wonderful vaulted room which gives the Osteria its name.
The owner was good at giving us all the information we asked for.
21/04/2025: Poor quality food certainly not even cooked by a real chef, dirty environment, inexperienced, cumbersome, inappropriate staff and it was Easter... creepy smell even in the glasses, excessive price

09/05/2025: Acceptable food (apart from my Ljubljanska which was stringy inside like the pork steaks that I have now stopped cooking myself at home) but the innkeeper should remember to take the blood pressure pill.
On the menu it says not to go on Google to look for dishes you don't know, but to ask the innkeeper about the dishes. You say, someone born in Rimini or Bari, what does he know about what a "frico" is.... We ask the innkeeper in a convivial manner at best, absolutely without disrespect, and we receive an angry response from the innkeeper, bordering on shouting, the innkeeper was really about to spit out his tongue because of how annoyed he seemed. Of what then? Questions asked with a smile? Rather than the rest of the customers, who in fact range from 50 years old and up.
Going out and paying the bill (salty, not that they filled my plate, but at least they took a little care and the food and raw materials are on average good, nothing impressive in any case) another unpleasant episode of the owner telling us to go home. I would like to point out that no one was upset, we were just happy to have dinner together, unfortunately the innkeeper was not so happy to see us at his place.
I advise the innkeeper to adopt a selection system at the entrance or to directly change the area which comes first, returning to Friuli is certainly an idea.
A place where you can breathe a sense of nostalgia... nostalgia for the twenty years! Congratulations.

12/05/2025: I usually avoid negative reviews but in this case I felt it was right to do so. Outside aperitif where we were denied a platter of cold cuts because "it could fly away in the wind". Postponed inside, arrived with the rind still on the ham. The presence of intolerances was initially reported, a dish free of the affected allergen was ordered, the dish arrived with a sauce not reported on the menu and containing the allergen in question. I decide to put an end to the suffering and limit myself to the side dish of "sweet and sour green beans" which are cold, boiled and tasteless. When paying the bill, the restaurateur feels obliged to point out that he did not take into account the dish that "I didn't want"; Too bad I would have liked it, but I was unable to eat it. The only positive note is the location.

19/11/2024: We had a wonderful party for my daughter's 18th birthday. Excellent welcome, competent staff, exquisite food. Thanks to Nadia and Federico for making our party special.
12/08/2024: Aperitif whose only spectacular feature was the backdrop of Villa Manin. 5 people 5 aperitifs 1 bowl (plastic😢) with a small amount of potatoes that I could bring from home. No sugar-free drinks... Oh well! For a location like this, it's an understatement to say it's shameful! Put a hand on your conscience.
Never again, I made a terrible impression on my guests.

Prenotato un pranzo tra amici 10 adulti e 12 bambini, il 27 Gennaio per oggi 16 Febbraio ore 12:00 nella chiamata è stata solo fatta una semplice prenotazione di un tavolo per 22 con richiesta da parte del personale di CHIAMARE DUE GIORNI PRIMA IN CASO FOSSIMO STATI IN INFERIORITÀ NUMERICA e aggiungo cosa del tutto normale e corretta. Siamo arrivati in 22 come prenotato in anticipo ed il portone era ancora chiuso abbiamo dovuto aspettare in strada 30 minuti pur avendo chiamato avvisando che eravamo lì quindi neanche la possibilità solo di poter parcheggiare le auto nel frattempo. Aprono, arriviamo all'interno del locale forniamo il cognome per il tavolo e ci dicono che la nostra prenotazione è stata cancellata in quanto non abbiamo chiamato il giorno prima PER CONFERMARE CHE OGGI SAREMO STATI PRESENTI. Tutto ciò con molta arroganza senza la minima preoccupazione del danno che ci stavano arrecando avendo 12 bimbi a seguito, entra una signora dove dice che neanche lei aveva chiamato per confermare la presenza ma la sua prenotazione era ancora attiva probabilmente ci sono dei clienti di serie A e clienti di serie B una cosa è certa professionalità del personale sotto lo 0 la signora che dovrebbe accogliere con un fare sgarbato con un vocabolario povero più di non so cosa dirvi non sapeva dire io so solo di aver fatto una figuraccia nell'avervi consigliato e voi siete stati a dir poco meschini. Non si era mai sentita una cosa neanche simile.
29/11/2024: Cena delle ossa .abbiamo mangiato 8 tipi di affettati fatti da loro una bistecca tenerissima musetto e brovada fegato alla veneziana verde e costicine fagioli con cipolla ladric cu li frisis ossa con tanta carne dolce vino a volontà caffè liquori il tutto 35 euro a testa. Tutto buonissimo alta cucina tradizionale ad un prezzo bassissimo

20/05/2024: Siamo state per la prima volta a pranzo durante un famoso mercato…arrivate senza prenotazione la signora ci ha accolte ugualmente scusandosi che la sala principale fosse già impegnata! Abbiamo mangiato un secondo molto ben fatto, gustoso ed abbondante. I dessert ottimo…il tutto condito con qualche chiacchiera con la gestrice che è stata molto accogliente!
30/03/2024: Ci siamo capitati per caso, locale caratteristico, piatti abbondanti e molto buoni. La titolare gentilissima e simpatica.

24/10/2024: Last night we used the voucher given by Eniplenitude 2x1 for dinner.
We were super satisfied: the waitresses were super courteous and attentive. They made us choose between two menus, one meat and one fish. We chose the fish one and it included 3 courses, all delicious.
We will definitely return to try their Salento menu.
