26/04/2026: There is a reserved sign on the tables. No guests can sit down, it would disturb almost everyone. We discussed with the waiter that we only came for drinks and that we would finish our coffee and beer in 15 minutes. That way we could sit down. So there were no guests, we managed to bring out the drinks in 11 minutes.
12/04/2026: The food quality (typical Friulian) is decent.
Welcoming atmosphere.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Medium-high prices.

08/03/2026: Very welcoming place, the food is good, and well-served. What I personally can't stand is the terrible acoustics in the room. There were 11 of us for dinner, and we couldn't communicate with those closest to us at the table.
22/02/2026: I must say, this place really surprised us with its dishes, the friendliness of the staff, and the discreet atmosphere. Each dish preserves the essence of every ingredient, cooked with artistry and passion. I've eaten dishes of this caliber in restaurants with Michelin stars, and this one undoubtedly deserves them.
You can sense the chef's great mastery.
The desserts are equally impressive.

12/03/2026: Definitely, considering the food itself: plating, quality, and quantity... too expensive. Friendly staff, beautiful interior... then we had a long wait between the first and second courses... forgotten? So much so that the table next to ours complained about it. The desserts were on a trolley, right in the middle of the room, warm and without any covering... I might add, an entrecote of maybe 100/130g... €35. Not good enough!

Everything good
03/04/2026: We had a reservation for 12:00 and arrived promptly, ordering immediately. Unfortunately, the first course arrived about 40 minutes later, despite it not requiring fresh preparation.
Meanwhile, customers who arrived after us were served, with the excuse that "workers had priority." This, if communicated earlier, would have allowed us to choose differently.
For the second course, we had to hurry, almost to the point of leaving.
We had high expectations for typical dishes like frico and charsons, but unfortunately, both were disappointing, both in taste and quality.
We still ate everything, more out of hunger than genuine satisfaction.
Overall, a negative experience: prices unjustified for the quality offered and poor service. We won't be returning.

We ate and drank very well, exceeding my expectations at home.

28/03/2026: They make one of the best frichis I've ever eaten here. The menu isn't very varied, but everything is cooked very well.
25/01/2026: Friulian cuisine with a typical dish, a full fridge, excellent food. I recommend a group dinner to try everything. The only flaw is the first course, but the rest of the food is superb.

16/07/2025: Unglaublich traditionelles Essen, friulanische Hausmannskost eben. Sehr gelungenes Flair. Das Kellnerteam ist sehr jung & eingespielt.
Alles in allem ein sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant, wenn man authenisches Essen haben will.
11/07/2025: Sehr schönes Lokal mit gemütlichen Tischen unter den Lauben, direkt an einem kleinen Gewässer. Wir haben es wieder einmal genossen, nachdem wir bei fast jeden Italien-Aufenthalt vorbei kommen. Wie immer sehr gute Qualität und guter Preis, tolle Bedienung!

I highly recommend it.
23/03/2026: We discovered this wonderful osteria by chance and were truly thrilled. A restaurant that offers authentic Friulian cuisine, with rich flavors and the highest-quality ingredients.
The cured meats are excellent, but the dish that won me over the most was the risotto with porcini mushrooms, blueberries, and thyme: simply extraordinary, a truly unique and memorable balance of flavors.
The wine selection is also a great strength: there's no traditional wine list here, but the owner himself guides you through your selection, recommending the perfect pairing with great expertise, passion, and attention to detail. An experience that makes the meal even more special.
The desserts and liqueurs are also excellent, perfect for a perfect end.
A sincere round of applause to the owner, who conveys all the love and dedication he puts into his work. A place truly worth discovering.
Highly recommended!

05/11/2025: A lovely venue with a view of the Friulian and Veneto plains. Outdoor seating is available in the summer. The pizzas are good. There's also a restaurant serving a few dishes. The staff is friendly and attentive.

The place is great for those who want some peace and quiet; the loudest noise is the birds chirping.
I had tortelloni stuffed with nettles and served with Montasio fondue, which were truly excellent. The tartare (a tartare) appetizer was truly meticulously prepared and served with a memorable whipped butter.
Impeccable service, always prompt and never intrusive, just the right amount of friendly.
The price was absolutely in line, perhaps even low, for the quality they offer.
It was a lovely discovery (our friends from Trieste took us there, a great meeting point halfway between our two stops), and I think it will definitely become one of our regular stops.
Well done!
PS) I didn't rate the rooms because we only ate there.

02/05/2026: Dinner definitely didn't live up to the restaurant's expectations...very good food and a worthy location, but terrible service (eternal wait times and dishes not arriving at the same time) and truly outrageous prices. I don't think I'd go back.
06/04/2026: We had a wonderful meal at this osteria in the heart of Udine's historic center.
The cicchetti are spectacular, especially the frico and the one with eggplant and burrata.
The first courses are divine and of excellent quality.
The only flaw is the slow and often inattentive service. It's definitely the only thing we need to work on and improve.
We'll definitely be back for more.

26/04/2026: We've been to this place twice (both on Sundays), and both times we were amazed at how, despite the huge crowds, the staff managed everything so well. We had a great time and had the feeling that the rest of the customers were also completely satisfied.
