20/07/2026: In a beautiful villa with a well-kept garden and veranda overlooking it, we had lunch at this restaurant for the first time... impeccable and efficient service in describing the day's off-menu items... professional but also friendly... excellent entree with creamed cod, first courses really well executed and plated as well as tasty including those with summer truffle... as a second course, masterfully cooked duck breast with fantastic pumpkin ice cream!! Very fresh and delicious homemade ice creams and sorbets preceded by an excellent pre-dessert!! What can I say... I can't wait to go back!!

11/07/2026: We discovered this restaurant almost by chance and called at the last minute to reserve a table for two. Despite the sudden request, we were greeted with great warmth. Our dog was also welcomed and immediately brought a bowl of fresh water, a gesture we truly appreciated. The wine list is extensive and well-stocked. Since it was difficult to navigate the many labels, a local wine was recommended. It was a perfect choice, perfectly in line with our tastes. The dishes were excellent, carefully prepared and rich in flavor. One of the dishes, however, wasn't what we expected. Without further ado, the staff immediately offered to replace it with another dish. Truly professional and customer-focused service. We also loved the atmosphere: elegant, welcoming, and relaxing. We also appreciated the little touches: a welcome amuse-bouche, a small cake offered while we waited for dessert, and, finally, delicious cookies served with coffee. These are the details that make the difference and demonstrate the passion with which this restaurant welcomes its guests. The restaurant is a bit hidden, but it's definitely worth seeking out. Impeccable service, excellent cuisine, excellent wine recommendations, and sincere hospitality: we recommend it without reservation and will gladly return.

01/08/2026: We ate here because it was on our route and we were blown away. We ordered the Scamorza and Sformatino as starters, which were very good. For our main courses, the Tortelli with Cipolla di Tropea and the Tagliatelle with Ragu di Antra were amazing, some of the best pasta we've ever had, a 10 out of 10. For dessert, the Mascarpone was absolutely delicious. The service was also excellent, very friendly and welcoming. Without a doubt, this is a restaurant you should visit if it's nearby—authentic Italian and delicious.

04/06/2026: We didn't stay at the hotel, but we had lunch at the historic restaurant. The menu offers a variety of fish and meat dishes, and you can choose from several tasting menus. An interesting summer menu is also available.

03/06/2026: Wonderful restaurant inside, excellent, professional service. Excellent ingredients, meticulously prepared dishes. Divinely delicious boiled meat served with their mixed saline. Delicious first courses. Ditto the desserts. The meticulously maintained restaurant begs to be photographed, it's wonderful. The price is certainly not cheap...but it's worth it. The boiled meat cost €29. But the price is absolutely justified. We'll definitely be back.

12/07/2026: One of the last places where you can eat traditional food. No fish, no pizza; the specialty is meat, especially boiled and roasted meats. Reservations are highly recommended for both dinner and lunch. Prices are fair for what you get. Ask for the daily specials, which vary seasonally. Fast service, highly recommended.

11/07/2026: I had a truly wonderful time at Trattoria da Probo: local cuisine prepared with modern care. Tagliatelle, a tribute to the season, cappelletti with a sweet broth and a savory Parmesan filling, and dry and fragrant gnocco fritto accompanied by Sant'Ilario and culatello. Even the sbrisolona—and Stefano himself recommended it, looking for a partner in crime: “𝑔𝑢𝑎𝑟𝑑𝑎 𝑐ℎ𝑒 𝑒𝑑𝑎𝑣𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑜 𝑏𝑢𝑜𝑛𝑎, 𝑐𝑒 𝑙𝑎𝑝𝑜𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑎𝑚𝑜 𝑑𝑖𝑣𝑖𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑒.” The wine list was a surprise, an unexpected plus: as far as I'm concerned, almost all the best local labels. Among these, Ca’ de Noci's “𝐓𝐫𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐦𝐞” is a little gem: a refermented rosé made from Sgavetta grapes from the 2023 harvest, in great shape. 🍽️ tagliatelle with sausage and morels 🍽️ cappelletti in broth 🍴 fried gnocco 🍴 culatello and 30-month-old Sant’Ilario 🍪 sbrisolona 🍰 cheesecake with fruit jam 🍾 Ca’ de Noci – Emilia Rosato “𝐓𝐫𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐦𝐞” 2023

25/05/2026: The best restaurant in Reggio Emilia, with traditional seafood and freshly prepared dishes. The cheeseboard is a must, with meticulous attention to detail for every course, and even the coffee is the best in the world. A gem in Reggio Emilia, only for true connoisseurs.

08/03/2026: Ristorante Cattini is located in a hidden green area in the hamlet of l'Orologia in Quattro Castella. The interior dining room is medium-sized and very quaint. The staff is professional and friendly. The menu features a few traditional dishes at reasonable prices for the quantity/quality offered, and there's a wide selection of wines. Their strong point is the variety of boiled and roast meats from the cart, served freshly to each diner. The zuppa inglese is truly delicious. The bathrooms are clean, despite the squat toilet in the women's room, which isn't ideal for everyone. Outside, there's a small play area and a patio with some seating.

27/02/2026: A place that's one of my favorites, where time has stood still for a few years in favor of substance. The first courses are good, and the roasts and boiled meats are expertly cooked. If I ever come back to the area, I'll definitely return.

10/08/2026: We've been there several times, and it has never disappointed us, right up until the last time. The food here is truly excellent; the kitchen is careful to use quality, locally sourced ingredients. Unfortunately, we were disappointed on the barbecue night. I think the meat preparation could be improved; not all cuts are suitable for grilling, and in our case, the meat was really tough. This won't stop us from returning, but we'll stick to what they do best: traditional Emilian first courses. In my opinion, prices have risen significantly; this is well known and should be taken into account.

01/08/2026: Osteria serving typical local dishes. We had two appetizers, the erbazzone and the cooked shoulder. For the first course, the passatelli with porcini mushrooms and truffles, all delicious, and the Lambrusco wine. Everything was excellent, the prices were in line with the quality offered, the service was also excellent, and there was ample parking.

18/03/2026: Our experience at Bosco was memorable. We enjoyed a wonderful Sunday lunch with the family in a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The service was excellent, not to mention the quality of the food... everything was delicious! We'll definitely be back!

25/06/2026: No tortelli, but meat and desserts are. The dining room is very beautiful, welcoming, and a bit rustic. A beautiful fireplace in the center of the room adds to the atmosphere. The desserts are fabulous, and the tagliatelle looked beautiful. Unfortunately, the tortelli lack flavor. The turnip one isn't bad, but the others absolutely need updating. It's strange because they're truly traditional from the hills, and there are plenty of delis that make them delicious. A shame. The green tortelli were very bland, the potato ones had a bit too much mash in them, the onion ones weren't bad, but you don't need much; the onion is very strong, so a little goes a long way. I won't be returning.

03/06/2026: The service was helpful, friendly, and attentive. We each ordered a slice of steak, which wasn't quite up to par for the price. The cured meats appetizer was good, though I still found it expensive for the portions. The location on the main floor is very well maintained, but the upstairs is a bit neglected.

12/06/2026: A restaurant with a pleasant, homey atmosphere. Friendly welcome, simply excellent food. Nothing but excellent cuisine.

23/05/2026: A historic restaurant on the number one boiled meat platter. Unfortunately, when you leave, you see the decay of a city like Reggio Emilia. Returning to the car late at night is definitely a total nightmare. And to think it's just a few meters from the police station.

27/06/2026: Returning from a trip with my son, I suggested we stop in Reggio Emilia for dinner. I was sure I wouldn't make a mistake, and the place was, as I remembered, quiet and welcoming. The owner was very knowledgeable and helpful, as always. As for the food, what can I say? Simply excellent, with a varied selection, including desserts. Quality wines and an uncommon selection of liqueurs and digestifs. If you're passing through Reggio Emilia, it's worth a stop. Giuseppe.

10/05/2026: I wouldn't go back... there wasn't a paper menu, but a guy was there to dictate it to us, and I find that very rushed because you don't even have time to decide. The dishes weren't appreciated at all, the tortelli had a strange taste, the fried gnocco with tigelle were awful, they had no flavor, not to mention the sorbet... it arrived half an hour after I ordered it, everything melted with so much lemon that we even felt the burning in our throats, we couldn't even finish it.

30/04/2026: The cappelletti are excellent, and the tortelloni verdi are superb. The tigelle are good. The service is good.
