Reservations are highly recommended for both dinner and lunch. Prices are fair for what you get. Ask for the daily specials, which vary seasonally. Fast service, highly recommended.

11/10/2025: A sublime lunch, from another era, and for that very reason, much appreciated. Care and passion go into everything served. A plus is the delightful sommelier, who explained the wines to us with love and passion. Yes, it's perhaps more expensive than average, but it's definitely worth a try.

04/10/2025: An absolutely stunning restaurant and definitely the best I’ve experienced in Emilia on this trip. Everything reflects a deep respect for tradition and for the ingredients themselves. I truly enjoyed the staff who wheeled out the carts and introduced the wine list, they were all excellent. However, the woman at the cashier, wearing American Vans sneakers, was strikingly out of place. At checkout she didn’t even bother to say thanks, which stood in sharp contrast to the rest of the team. This wasn’t a matter of professionalism, but rather pure ignorance and disrespect.

18/10/2025: From the name, I expected an Emilian trattoria famous for its cappelletti in brodo, but instead it's a super restaurant in a period building, and I felt a little uncomfortable. The cappelletti in brodo are excellent.

15/10/2025: Dinner for my wife's birthday, and as always, it was a perfect fit. The food was excellent, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and courteous. I had flowers delivered for my wife, and they were carefully and elegantly arranged in a vase at the table.

27/09/2025: I have been going to this restaurant for years with friends and also for business dinners. It is a charming and welcoming place. The place is not always easy to find the first time but it is worth it. The owners are kind and exquisite people. Let's start with the menus, starting with the appetizers: cracklings, erbazzone, excellent first courses, green and pumpkin tortelli, as if homemade, starting from 10. Then try other first courses, all excellent. For the second courses, I recommend the mixed boiled meats, from cotechino, ribs and more, or the really good roasts with side dishes. To finish the desserts, the zuppa inglese is very good, without taking anything away from the other desserts. I recommend it. It is worth it. Be on a diet the day before so you can try a bit of everything. I have to give it a solid 10.

Personally, I found some of the meat dishes a bit dry and less flavorful than I expected. The prices seemed a bit high for the perceived quality. Additionally, I noticed a few too many insects during the evening, which slightly detracted from the experience. That said, it's still a good option for a quiet evening.

21/09/2025: When traveling, it's a blessing to stumble upon places like this. Keep in mind that it's not a restaurant, but a deli with dine-in service. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We tried several dishes, all of which were delicious. The gnocco fritto with cured meats was excellent. The price was fair. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area.

20/09/2025: A pleasant discovery in the center of Bresciello. A small deli with a kitchen, the fried gnocco is delicious. The stew is also worth a visit. The atmosphere and service are informal and welcoming. Excellent value. If you're passing by, stop by; it's worth it.

26/09/2025: Their website asked us to order via text message, but after doing so we received no response. When we showed up, they told us the kitchen was closed at 10:00 PM, despite the fact that they stated it closed at midnight. We kindly asked them to prepare something quick for us, given the many kilometers we had traveled to get here, but unfortunately they couldn't help us. It should be noted that there were many free tables.

02/10/2025: We had dinner with friends for the first time on a Saturday evening. The restaurant has ample parking and a very welcoming dining room. The traditional menu features first courses, especially grilled meats. We ordered gnocco and tigelle, cured meats, and spreadable cheeses. Everything was delicious: the cured meats were thinly sliced ​​and really good quality, the fried gnocco was not at all greasy, and the tigelle were amazing: soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. To follow, three desserts, a bottle of Lambrusco, and two bottles of water = €25 per person. EXCELLENT AND THE SERVICE ALSO EXCELLENT... I'll return and recommend it.

26/09/2025: We stumbled upon Il Villico by chance. A pleasant atmosphere and attentive service welcomed us. The food was truly delicious, and the wine recommendation was also excellent. The restaurant was very busy for a Thursday evening, so it wasn't just us who enjoyed it. Excellent value for money. And the large parking lot right in front of the restaurant is perfect, too. We hope to get a table again tomorrow evening.
