01/08/2025: Nice, welcoming place, professional, and friendly service. The food was a sore point; we ate like at a normal, non-starred restaurant and paid more than double. Even the famous boiled meat cart we came for was disappointing—nothing special. They didn't even offer us coffee. We won't be returning.

04/07/2025: Excellent lunch in transit. Clean and fresh place, fast service and attentive and very friendly staff. Very very good food, most of the menu is typical dishes. Good value for money. Excellent homemade tortelli and well cooked meat. If I lived in these parts I would go back regularly. In any case I recommend it to those looking for good simple and genuine food. Place with air conditioning

16/07/2025: Verdetto contrastato per questo locale ospitato in una villa decisamente affascinante. Ampi spazi verdi ma con 35 gradi sarebbe meglio usare l’aria condizionata ! Assegnazione del tavolo peggiore appena giunti, carta capziosa con menù pranzo si ma anche no, personale alle calcagna per tutto il pranzo. Lode per una battuta impeccabile, lode anche per la presenza del risotto, piatto poco usato fuori dalla Lombardia. Peccato che però non fosse eccelso, anzi neppure ben cotto ! Infine incidenza di pane e coperto del 20% sul conto. Urge corso di rieducazione per ristoratori !! Lesson one : a pranzo la carta dei vini è ormai inutile, propongo una carta dell’acqua con costi a scelta e una petizione per eliminare il coperto

The trattoria is well-maintained, and the outdoor space is quaint, yet quiet and peaceful despite the street right next to the courtyard. Excellent food. 25/05/2025: In this place you can find the typicality of traditional dishes with the addition of the trolley of boiled meats and roasts, all delicious. Family service, fast and attentive. Reasonable prices but abundant dishes.

04/07/2025: Canossa, where time has not moved. Invited by a friend from Reggio to try the typical cuisine of the area, we were really enthusiastic! The restaurant has proudly remained in the 70s, the walls and furniture exude the history of the city. The menu is traditional Emilia, with lots of meat and accompanying sauces, boiled meat is clearly a must! The plating is not important, here the important thing is the authentic flavors and the abundant portions. The service is familiar, in the sense that you feel just like family and the waiting times are secondary. It is worth highlighting the waiter who serves you directly at the table with the cart of meats still on the fire and cut at the moment, which is something almost folkloristic and for which the price is worth it (which cannot be cheap, given the choice, the quality and the abundance, ed.). If you are in the Reggio area and want to try real Reggio cuisine, you definitely have to go to Canossa.

02/08/2025: For me, a 5-star review means top-notch in every way, and here everything wasn't! Okay, the food was good, but that's not enough. As I always say, a good dish must be accompanied by a good waiter with a great smile. Then... the chaos and confusion in the dining room, too much, look for a solution. And the "service?" For goodness' sake. To say it was nonexistent is a compliment. The staff was annoyed, barely present, and completely unprepared. It felt like they were doing us a favor. What a shame!

27/07/2025: Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place except for the kind person who runs it. We were a group of guys and girls, accustomed to Reggio Emilia cuisine, so we booked this place, which was new to us. A mixed appetizer of cured meats, quite coarsely chopped, and a mini cheese plate. Since there were nine of us, we asked if he could bring a larger one. As for the main courses, I recommend you be careful when consuming meats here. I ordered a tagliata with someone else, and believe me, I only ate it because I knew how much it cost, but the smell wasn't the best, like that of the lamb ribs and the tartare. I was the only one at the table to finish the entire main course, and also the only one in the group to have vomiting and diarrhea during the night and the following morning. I'm very sorry...

26/07/2025: Poor food €51 per person with an appetizer (two pieces of fried gnocco and two slices of coppa). The buffalo tartare was rotten, inedible. I wouldn't recommend it even to my worst enemy.

16/06/2025: Trattoria found by chance on a trip to Ferrara. I ate an exceptional rabbit. The place is a bit old. The entrance certainly does not inspire you to go in. However, the dishes are all delicious at a great price. Absolutely recommended

09/07/2025: The restaurant seats 12 inside and about thirty outside along the road surrounding the restaurant. Dishes can be ordered by QR code or with a paper menu upon request. I recommend the four-course cured meat platter. The first and second courses are good. They have a house wine: Lambrusco in 0.375-cl bottles. It fills almost four glasses. The plates are biodegradable and the glasses are plastic. I have no idea if they're recycled. Overall, a place worth trying. Prices are moderately high.
