05/12/2024: I'm from Milan, I often ride my motorbike and I ended up here by chance. I had heard about this restaurant from a chef friend of mine while I was in Pescara in Abruzzo. Totally at random, one day I end up with friends in these areas and discover that they have booked right there. The place is of a very high standard, welcoming, indeed very beautiful and also very clean. I discover that they have had a Michelin star for generations. Attention is present in all the details, perhaps only the bathrooms deserve more attention but they are fine even so, in the end you go there to eat there. I spent less than I would have thought and what can I say, I ate like God, typical cuisine executed to perfection, try the boiled meat and also the pear with eggnog, divine. I will definitely come back

Gran bel posto al piano terra di una palazzina stile liberty, personale molto attento, cucina semplice ma molto buona. Brava la signora a farci sentire a casa con degustazione di piatti delle tradizione e non. Gnocco fritto con salumi very good. Prezzo giusto e proporzionato al quello che abbiamo ordinato. Credo avessero avuto addirittura una stella Michelin. Da tornare magari con più tempo e provare il menù degustazione

03/09/2024: I have a particular fondness for this restaurant. I particularly like the summer expanse under the colonnade, their excellent meat and the kind, friendly and helpful staff. Last Saturday we found ourselves at 9am, without having booked anywhere, having to eat with 4 of us, plus two friends. They welcomed us with extreme courtesy, including the dog. In a few minutes they set the table for us on the porch and took our orders. My friends and my husband took advantage of the fact that there were fresh porcini mushrooms on the menu and took the potato tortelli with porcini mushrooms, which they really appreciated. I preferred the pumpkin tortelli, which were not particularly tasty (perhaps due to the pumpkin) but were accompanied by the best sautéed meat I have eaten in years, so much so that we all took the opportunity to make ourselves a delicious slipper. My husband and my friends, second course, had gnocco and tigelle with cured meats and spreads, while I ordered their wonderful Fassona tartare. A delight. Knife-cut meat, lightly seasoned, accompanied by two types of mustard and balsamic vinegar. For me the best I have tasted in Reggio Emilia restaurants. Finally, someone took some excellent homemade desserts (respectable portions) and we were offered the house digestives. More than satisfied, as always.

25/08/2024: What would Brescello be without Guareschi? Yet La Locomotiva Gastronomica also deserves a stop here: lots of courtesy and superlative dishes, lots of substance at the right price with the typical dishes of the area. Peppone and Don Camillo would definitely have eaten here.

15/12/2024: Yesterday we were walking in Reggio Emilia and after a lot of surfing the web looking for a good restaurant for lunch, we said to ourselves: "the only ones who will surely be able to advise us better are the locals!" . In fact, we stopped two very kind girls on the street who showed us this fantastic restaurant. Which I wholeheartedly recommend to immerse yourself in an authentic Emilian experience; not only is the food fantastic and super tasty, you are welcomed with warmth, kindness and competence. thanks a lot guys, see you next time!!!

10/12/2024: We ate very well. Cappelletti in broth and boiled. First course plentiful and very good They pass by with a trolley for boiled meat and roasts. The cost is 20 euros, you choose the meats (tongue, ham, beef, chicken etc) accompanied by mashed potatoes. Advised

05/11/2024: E' più volte che vengo in questa osteria e rimango sempre sodisfatto. Parto dal vino della casa che reputo ottimo e genuino, molto di qualità il salume accompagnato dal un buon gnocco fritto e tigelle. I tortelli aimè li ritengo discreti (ho dei forti dubbi che siano di loro produzione)al contrario le tagliatelle con il ragù le trovo superlative. Tra i secondi ottime sono le costine di maiale con patate. Come dolce ti viene servito un mix d'assaggi di torte della casa.............poco?molto?.......ma cosa si pretende quando la spesa finale non supera mai la cifra di €25 a testa! Dimenticavo il locale rurale lo trovo molto accogliente. Bravi!!!!

03/11/2024: Cena in famiglia. Antipasti abbondanti e curati. Primi piatti generosi e molto gustosi. Secondi piatti deliziosi. Dolci un po' scarsi ma, dopo tutto quello che si era mangiato e bevuto, non si è sofferto per la loro minima offerta. Prezzo corretto e il coperto non si paga. Personale gentile e cortese. Servizio veloce.
