13/04/2026: Everything was perfect, no doubt about it. I'd been wanting to dine at this restaurant for a while, and it exceeded my expectations. From the food, the welcome, and the location. We tried both the starters and the dessert trolley, everything was perfect.

04/04/2026: Excellent customer service, impeccable food quality, clean environment (impeccable bathrooms, to name the most "sensitive" example), the 5 stars are more than deserved. Honorable mention goes to the selection of boiled and roasted meats, a Reggio Emilia tradition now (unfortunately) rare in local restaurants, but respected to the highest standards, accompanied by typical sauces. What else? Professionalism, courtesy, customer service, absolutely reasonable prices. Spotlessly clean, well-spaced tables, a well-renovated, typical local building.

19/03/2026: A welcoming restaurant with a relaxing atmosphere. Well-prepared, high-quality dishes made with top-quality ingredients. Pumpkin tortelli, tortelli with culatello, truffle gnocchi, and chicken cacciatore are all rich in flavor and beautifully blended with aromas. The prosciutto and grilled vegetables are excellent.

08/04/2026: Well, how could I describe this place ! It’s such lovely place with charm of settings related to Pavarotti. Staring from a warm welcome and excellent service from the owner ( I assume ), tasty food, and oh they are really pet friendly ❤️my small 2kg Pomerania was happy to be there. We will def be back next time when we pass this area !

08/03/2026: Ristorante Cattini is located in a hidden green area in the hamlet of l'Orologia in Quattro Castella. The interior dining room is medium-sized and very quaint. The staff is professional and friendly. The menu features a few traditional dishes at reasonable prices for the quantity/quality offered, and there's a wide selection of wines. Their strong point is the variety of boiled and roast meats from the cart, served freshly to each diner. The zuppa inglese is truly delicious. The bathrooms are clean, despite the squat toilet in the women's room, which isn't ideal for everyone. Outside, there's a small play area and a patio with some seating.

27/02/2026: A place that's one of my favorites, where time has stood still for a few years in favor of substance. The first courses are good, and the roasts and boiled meats are expertly cooked. If I ever come back to the area, I'll definitely return.

19/02/2026: Having recently moved to the area, I decided to explore the surrounding restaurants, and I can confidently say that Il Truciolo is the absolute best. Having frequented it several times, I've had the opportunity to sample most of the dishes on the menu, and there wasn't a single dish that didn't win me over. From appetizers to dessert, every ingredient is carefully selected, and every bite offers a truly pleasurable experience. The service deserves special mention: the wait staff is professional, friendly, and always smiling, putting guests at ease immediately. The owner is extremely kind and helpful, and getting to know him makes the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant is meticulously maintained, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for feeling at home. A restaurant I've grown to love and will continue to recommend without reservation.

10/04/2026: A truly pleasant stay, one we'll definitely repeat! We stayed at the Hotel Ristorante La Gazzella and were delighted with every aspect. The property is well-maintained and welcoming, the dinner excellent, and the breakfast plentiful and delicious, thanks to the attentive service of Mrs. Lorella: kind, smiling, and always available, she makes guests feel at home. The location is strategic for those who want to explore not only Maranello and its Motor Valley, but also the surrounding areas: Modena, Sassuolo, Formigine, Spilamberto, Vignola... all easily accessible. We recommend it without hesitation to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located base for discovering this beautiful corner of Emilia!

06/04/2026: Let me start by saying we tried the restaurant, not the hotel. Intimate atmosphere Clean and modern location, outdoor dining available Ample parking available Friendly service We had gnocco tigelle and cured meats as an appetizer. I'm not a fan of gnocco, but it was very good, and the cured meats were exceptional—probably the best thing we ate. For the second course, we had cappelletti in broth, cotoletta alla petroniana (Bologna-style cutlet), and another meat dish, so nothing special. To finish, two desserts. All accompanied by a bottle of good wine. We spent about €50 each, which is a bit high.

07/02/2026: A welcoming location, friendly and fast service, and above all, truly exquisite dishes. Home-style cooking with a varied and appetizing menu. Reasonable prices and generous portions... What more could you ask for? Oh right... there's even a shop inside where you can purchase their dishes. This time, we stocked up on the leek tortelli. Bravo!

21/03/2026: Excellent typical Emilian restaurant, I can only give it 5 stars for everything. The bar with billiards is legendary!! The first courses are not only generous but also delicious. The second courses and side dishes are equally delicious, except for the zucchini flowers, which perhaps need a rethink. I can't wait to go back and try the crescentine and tigelle.

20/03/2026: A place that has remained unchanged—that is, always great. You eat authentic Emilia here, and the owners are always friendly and kind. If you go, you can't miss the walnut tortelloni, although everything else is absolutely worth trying. 5 stars, only because 10 isn't a good thing!

29/03/2026: A beautiful, welcoming, and elegant location. Quality food and an excellent wine list. The gnocco fritto and tortellini are must-haves, and there's always an excuse to return.

17/03/2026: A stunning estate, with spacious rooms and meticulous attention to detail. The carefully renovated old stone farmhouse dominates the center, but surrounding it are the pool area, the farm with its vegetable and fruit gardens, the gardens and colorful flowerbeds, relaxation areas for aperitifs, and other buildings, including a wine bar. The restaurant offers a wide selection of Emilian dishes. A warm, family-friendly atmosphere pervades the entire property, from the entrance to the main hall to the veranda, and everyone is incredibly prompt and friendly. In warm weather, you can even dine by the pool. I stayed here a few years ago, because the property also offers spacious apartments and rooms, simply yet elegantly furnished, for a peaceful stay. At the time, the atmosphere was perhaps a little quieter, but now there's room for everyone, and the estate's transformation, which diversifies its offerings for guests, guarantees joyful days in a location with rustic yet sophisticated touches. The presence of books, which are everywhere, even in the anteroom, adds an extra touch. Returning to lunch, which was otherwise very pleasant on the veranda, we ordered appetizers of gnocchi and cured meats and meatballs, so as to share as usual, a Graziano Fontana Pinot Noir, a tortello (also shared) with a parmesan crust, a Bartalo stew for two, baked potatoes, and a Barozzi cake. Coffee and a small glass of wine for dessert. An excellent lunch, although a bit pricey considering we split the main courses (a first course and a second course)... A Pinot Noir, even a Riserva, at €45 was unexpected. Total just over €140 for two. The place is still worth the trip. Recommended.

18/10/2025: We celebrated my husband's 60th birthday. It was magical, because we are both passionate about Ferrari, and we ate very well. The only thing about the second courses, in terms of our tastes, was that there was not much choice (because we don't eat pigeon or eel, etc.) but the dishes were superb, the service and courtesy were excellent. We will definitely be back ♥️
