Excellent both times, I couldn't find a single flaw!
The menu ranges from ultra-traditional to much more elaborate dishes. The combinations are well thought out, and from what we tried, they were even very successful.
The friendly and knowledgeable staff pampers you from the moment you sit down to the moment you leave, with an entrée and bread tasting at the beginning and a small pastry at the end.
For the price of the dinner, you wouldn't expect such treatment. You get the attention of a high-end restaurant at the price of a proper osteria.
My compliments, you've become a guarantee for me!

05/01/2026: I go there often and I have to say that everything is very very good, the staff is always at the complete disposal of the customer and above all the tortellini, cotoletta alla petroniana, the Bensone, the Zuppa inglese are of the highest level.

07/02/2026: A welcoming location, friendly and fast service, and above all, truly exquisite dishes. Home-style cooking with a varied and appetizing menu. Reasonable prices and generous portions... What more could you ask for? Oh right... there's even a shop inside where you can purchase their dishes. This time, we stocked up on the leek tortelli. Bravo!

27/10/2025: My rating refers to the restaurant, not the inn's rooms. Therefore, the "Rooms," "Service," and "Location" fields make no sense. I tried reporting this using Google, but I can't find a way.
This is a medium-high level restaurant; its Michelin star is well-deserved. We ate (lunch) in a beautiful and refined setting, the dishes were truly delicious, and the welcome was truly warm, even for our dog.
A special mention for the "torta degli ebrei," a specialty of Finale Emilia, a sort of cheese puff pastry, eaten as an appetizer, wrapped in yellow paper and eaten directly in bites.
Everything was delicious and well-prepared; an experience worth repeating.

18/10/2025: We celebrated my husband's 60th birthday. It was magical, because we are both passionate about Ferrari, and we ate very well. The only thing about the second courses, in terms of our tastes, was that there was not much choice (because we don't eat pigeon or eel, etc.) but the dishes were superb, the service and courtesy were excellent. We will definitely be back ♥️

To be honest, and I hate to belittle the work behind it, it's definitely lost a lot, especially in terms of quality, which I haven't found lately.
I'll try again in the future, but right now it doesn't meet my expectations.

A perfect format, a small shop with a kitchen in the heart of Bologna, perfect for young people, workers on break, and the (many) tourists; the menu revolves around traditional first courses, well-crafted and made with quality ingredients. Fresh pasta, filled or not, reigns supreme...tortellini (I Tortellini!), lasagna, tagliatelle, ravioli...all excellent and available at the counter so you can try making the dishes at home. Takeaway is also available. There are also a variety of desserts to round off your meal.
The staff is young, lively, fast, polite, and knowledgeable...well done!
The prices are spot on.
Beware, it's very popular...expect the line outside (but it's worth it!). Thank you!
