11/12/2024: Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Ci sono stato 4 volte anche a sorpresa. Cucina buona con materie prime all’ altezza. Una soluzione buona per ogni situazione, anche con bambini piccoli.

29/11/2024: We came across this place on our hike back down from Villa Lysis. Wow, the food was so so good!! The sourdough bread is freshly made using the pizza oven, honestly so delicious. The waiter kept filling up our bowl (I think we ate a whole loaf) The antipasto and pastas were amazing, we struggled to choose as it all looked so good. Honestly the best food!! And the service was exceptional and super friendly 🙌🏼 so many places we had been too around Italy they weren’t so friendly - these people were so so lovely, made such a good vibe and experience 🩷 The limoncello is also made by one of the waiters - DELISH! 🍋 It is a bit of a walk from the main Capri town but SO worth it for more of a friendly atmosphere and vibe 🙌🏼

27/10/2024: Cercando i migliori ristoranti di Capri, tramite internet, ha colpito la mia attenzione questo ristorante, per punteggio e per l'eleganza della location. Devo dire che, su 5 sere, è stata la migliore cena della vacanza. Bella l'ambientazione, ottimo il servizio, le materie prime e la cucina. Ho anche chiesto un piatto fuori menù, che mi è stato preparato senza problemi dallo chef. Ottima anche la delizia al limone, una tentazione da non perdere!

25/12/2024: Just right there at the Piazza Umberto Capri. Walk upstairs and you 'll just see some pretty nice views. Sit down kind of relax atmosphere during the day and at night gets a little bit more lively but the staff are very friendly and the food absolutely amazing. Wasn't anything I didn't like even that caprese salad which I generally don't eat. My nephew had asked me to try it because said he doesn't usually like it but it was good. And boy oh boy it was.

20/12/2024: We were there in September and unfortunately we had a rainy day, but the place proved to be very beautiful all the same. Really very good food, impeccable service and the classic Italian atmosphere. The restaurant can be reached after a few steps and a stone's throw from the funicular, directly overlooking the small square, perfect for a break before entering the shopping streets. Advised.

26/10/2024: Uno spettacolo per gli occhi e per il palato! In un contesto verde e tranquillo, location elegante e molto piacevole, siamo stati coccolati dalla proprietaria una persona molta appassionata del proprio lavoro. Piatti gourmet sorprendenti per la fantasia ma soprattutto per la qualità dei prodotti e la bontà. E la grande soddisfazione di poter trovare senza problemi un'ampia scelta senza glutine dall' antipasto al dolce per mia figlia. Dal pane, tarallini, primi secondi contorni e dolci. Complimenti agli chef per la bravura nella preparazione dei piatti, per l'attenzione alla non contaminazione per il senza glutine. Grazie mille ragazzi sarete un punto di riferimento a Capri quando ritorneremo ❤️

24/10/2024: Este lugar es una necesidad cuando en Capri. La comida es increíble, el ambiente es genial, el staf es muy educado, profesional y amable. Yo estaba allí con un grupo de amigos y probamos muchas cosas del menú. No puedo decidir cuál es mi favorito. Cuentan con una bodega que ofrece numerosos vinos, no solo italianos, sino españoles, franceses, alemanes... y hay un enólogo que le ayudará a maridarlos con la comida. Experiencia perfecta. Sin duda volveré allí de nuevo, tan pronto como esté de vuelta en Capri.

05/01/2025: We heard about this place from our previous trips to Capri. The place is large and well decorated, the background music is pleasant. Excellent offer of wines and bubbles, varied menu full of traditional cuisine from Campania and beyond. Applause for the spaghetti alla Nerano and the lemon caprese. Attentive and courteous staff. We will definitely be back.

01/01/2025: Taxi driver gave us recommendation for this restaurant. Food was one of the bests we had in Italy. They made a rockfish ( Scorpio fish) fresh that was decadent. Lobster pasta amazing so was tge lobster . Dessert and drinks kept the standard. Service very friendly and attentive!

30/01/2025: While waiting for our hydrofoil to Naples we came across this restaurant, the time available was limited and we mentioned it to the waiters who did their utmost to satisfy our needs. We had a caprese salad, 2 generous and well-seasoned scialatielli with seafood, and an exquisite lemon caprese cake. Honest account, excellent service and friendly and helpful owner. Greetings from Rome

24/11/2024: While its been a few weeks since our return from a magnificent tour of the Amalfi Coast, before the euphoria of the trip wears off, we wanted to take a moment to offer our sincere thanks to the staff of La Floridiana for a most wonderful stay. In particular, we would like to recognize Guiliana A, Simona P, Andrea M and Antonio A for their kindness, helpfulness and all around good humor! — The hotel & room was impeccably clean, the food was fabulous, but without a solid team of people supporting, there would simply be no memorable experience! - every encounter with the staff was absolutely delightful and left us laughing. We consider ourselves seasoned travelers and this stay ranks among the best of them all. Our time in Capri was limited to exactly 1day and their help, we saw & experienced as much as we could and without any doubt, wished we’d been able to stay longer — here! Quite simply, If you ever get the chance to visit Capri, your stay would simply be incomplete if you missed the opportunity to take advantage of the hospitality of La Floridiana!

12/10/2024: On a recent trip to wonderful Capri (September 2024), we were fortunate enough to dine at the D’Amore restaurant, which has an exquisite and beautiful atmosphere! My wife and I were very well attended to, with excellent cordiality and attention from the Chef and Carmeriere. They did not spare any “treats” in the appetizers and the meal was spectacular, in quality, delicious and magical aromas and flavors, magnificent wine list (I chose wines from the Campanha Region). The dessert was also a show in itself! I recommend it to everyone!

20/01/2025: A cozy, home-like restaurant tucked away in a quiet alley that we found on october during our honeymoon. The dishes were outstanding. We tried some pizzas and calamari that were prepared beautifully with authentic flavors. The prices were far more affordable than many other places on the island. It's definitely worth a visit, with breathtaking views as a bonus!

10/11/2024: Come da titolo ironico. Localino molto vicino alla famosa piazzetta. Non facilissimo da trovare perché poco nascosto l’ingresso (comunque è indicato abbastanza bene). Buon accoglienza. Interni ed arredi in stile rustico. Menù della tradizione locale con opzione pizza. Cucina casereccia di buona qualità con valida materia prima, soprattutto le verdure. Anche la pizza non è niente male. Veloce e cordiale il servizio Rapporto qualità prezzo, direi buono, calcolando che a CAPRI i prezzi sono ben più alti della media nazionale. Consiglio questa location per un pranzo o una cena informali e se vi piace la pizza napoletana.

07/11/2024: Review of La Palette, Capri We visited La Palette with a large group and enjoyed our experience overall. The food was good; we had chicken, eggplant, and finished with tiramisu for dessert. Service was ample, though not the quickest, likely due to our group size. The location is on a hilltop, so be prepared for a bit of a walk up. The setting is worth it, though, as the views are stunning and the cool breeze adds to the charm. It’s a great spot for a leisurely meal with a beautiful panorama of Capri.

04/02/2025: We had a fantastic evening on August 15th. First of all, the panoramic walk to get to the location is wonderful. Among the streets of Capri that go up to the Natural Arch, stopping to chat with some of the island's inhabitants. The view of the Natural Arch and the Amalfi coast is breathtaking before the final descent to the restaurant. Nice, homely welcome, courtesy and empathy with the customer. Mrs. Rosa who is waiting at the entrance near the kitchen and allows us for the photo, a chat with Mr. Luigi who tells us how he organized the reservations this year. A wonderful table overlooking the sea. Patient and kind waiters. They don't stop for a second. The atmosphere is one of sober elegance. We ate a fried entree that melted in the mouth, half a pacchero, swordfish and aubergines, spaghetti with clams and courgette flowers, a slice of amberjack, sorbet served in lemon and delight. Drank a Rose prosecco. The evening was spectacular due to the presence of a folk group who enlivened the dinner with music and dance. UNFORGETTABLE. All of Capri talks about this place and we also saw it from the sea during the day on the boat. It can't be missed. Book it well in advance.
