26/10/2025: Beautiful design and breathtaking views. It's located right on the shore of Lake Averno, which makes it charming, but the service is lacking and the food leaves much to be desired. Not to mention the requirement to only order drinks. You can't even order a Coke.

14/09/2025: Yesterday, we ordered pizzas at 6:00 PM and picked them up at 10:00 PM.... An hour later, at 11:00 PM, the pizzas were ready (and I won't go into what we were told, to avoid making a fool of myself). My only curiosity is this: before 6:00 PM yesterday, how many people had ordered pizzas before us? An experience and pizzeria to ABSOLUTELY forget. Not to mention the gentleman at the cash register with his know-it-all and professional attitude..... MY CONGRATULATIONS

10/09/2025: A terrible and rancid August experience. Unfortunately, my go-to taralli shops were closed for vacation on August 9th, so I reluctantly settled on the first one I found open in my area, the "tarallificio" Assunto bakery, purchasing two kilos of sugna e pepe taralli with almonds, a local delicacy, for friends and family in Abruzzo. While the girl at the counter, clearly inexperienced, was serving me, a pot-bellied man, presumably the owner, intervened from the cash register and suggested she serve me the ones from the oven in plain sight, nice and hot taralli. Obviously, I interpreted this as considerate consideration, but when we reached our destination, 250 km from Naples, the bitter and rancid surprise awaited: the taralli were inedible, overheated and rancid, fit for the trash. A perfect embarrassment!! Too far away to bring them back and let them at least taste them and ask for an account, especially since they paid not just a little more than average, almost 50% more. Their position will probably be to deny it altogether, but who knows, perhaps one day, perhaps not too far away, they will have to account for their shady sales methods.

But what makes this bakery special isn't just the delicious food, but also the prompt and exceptionally welcoming staff. Whether it's a quick lunch break, a morning errand, or a special order for an important occasion, Assunto never disappoints. 18/05/2025: A pleasant day among nature, cordiality and simplicity We went to this restaurant to spend a day in the company of friends and, overall, the experience was more than positive. The quality-price ratio seemed right to us: we chose the menu for 25 euros per person for adults (15 euros for children), with drinks not included. A peculiarity is that they leave all the empty bottles on the table, to then count them at the end of the meal and include them in the final bill - so it is useful to keep this in mind. The staff is extremely kind, especially the waitresses: helpful, polite and always smiling. Sincere compliments to them. The location is nice and well-kept, surrounded by greenery, with many animals that make the experience more pleasant, especially for those - like me - who love nature. The aquariums, turtles and other animals in the garden are very beautiful. Unfortunately I didn't get to see the parrots, the area was closed on both occasions I went out to look for them, but I was told that at other times there was someone to accompany the customers. Never mind, it will be for next time. The food reflects what you can expect from a fixed-price menu: nothing exceptional, but more than enough to enjoy a quiet lunch without too many pretensions. It's definitely not a place I would recommend for a gourmet or refined occasion, but perfect for spending time in company in an informal and relaxed environment. Finally, a curious detail: to pay the bill you have to queue and then enter an office, and at the desk you find yourself discussing the bill with who I believe is the owner, so not at the classic cash register, almost as if you were about to close a ceremonial deal! We simply paid what was due, without asking for discounts, and the comparison of how much we consumed was clear and precise, a sign of correctness and attention on the part of the staff. In short, I recommend it to those looking for a carefree day, in contact with nature and in good company, without spending too much.

08/06/2025: Yesterday I was at your restaurant for a 50th, and I was really satisfied. Cleanliness and excellent dining room service. All the courses were satisfying and with the flavor that only a good chef can give to products purchased with conscience, (therefore good in themselves), and then combined with the art of knowing how to cook them. A magnificent evening with relatives and good food. I think we will choose you for our next events. A thank you goes to the dining room manager who was able to welcome us and immediately put us at ease.
