We booked a table for Easter Monday lunch, attracted by the venue's entertainment. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing.
During the event, as we stood up to join the entertainment, our table was literally taken over by others without anyone bothering to notify us or ask our permission. I should emphasize that only our table was "evicted," which makes the situation even more unpleasant and unjustified.
To make matters worse, the service was subpar: one waitress was particularly unpleasant and rude.
At the end of the show, our things that were on the table were put on the chairs...
We'll be back because the venue and the show were so great.

Top-notch food and drinks. On a magical lake, and then think about how the atmosphere of Roman splendor reigns all around. Cicero had his villa just a few meters away...

Unfortunately, it was a truly unpleasant experience, not because of the food or the place itself, but because of the attitude of the staff, especially one waitress.
There were six of us, and as soon as we arrived, we were seated at a table for four. A waiter (very kind, it must be said) was trying to straighten things out by pulling out more chairs when his colleague rudely called him back, using a completely inappropriate tone and manner. This was the first alarm bell.
When she came to our table to order and was politely asked to wait two minutes because we weren't all ready, she left, grimacing and clearly annoyed.
The worst point came during the evening. At another table, a large and clearly "important" one, smoking was allowed without a problem. I lit an IQOS and was reprimanded with the exact phrase: "I don't want to say it anymore, you can smoke this outside," said from a distance and in a rude tone, pointing to an outdoor terrace.
Now:
You don't address a customer in that tone. It would have been enough to explain the rule politely.
No one had ever told me before that smoking wasn't allowed at the table.
Why was the same behavior tolerated at the "right" table and not at ours?
The feeling was clear: double standards, depending on who you're dealing with. And that's unacceptable.
I understand the difficulties of working in front of the public, but politeness should always be the foundation. I say this also as someone who works with people every day.
In conclusion, I want to clarify that it's not the wallet that makes the difference between customers, but the elegance of one's manners: many can have money, but education and class a little less.
