01/09/2025: Excellent seafood. They are very kind, friendly, and hospitable, which is what I love most! Large place overlooking the Trabocchi Coast! I don't have any photos. I enjoyed it all with my son and daughter-in-law.
28/06/2025: They show no consideration to their neighbours as they very often play very loud music and light fireworks late in the evening. Even on work days when people have to get up early next day.

20/09/2025: When I chose to dine at the "A Casa Mia" restaurant, I expected a welcoming experience, perhaps with a genuine flavor, just like what you'd expect from home cooking. Instead, I found myself on a gastronomic journey in reverse: from mediocre to indefensible, passing through tragicomic.
It began with a forgettable appetizer. A taste devoid of personality, which already hinted that the evening wouldn't be memorable. But the real apotheosis of bad eating began with the first courses, and it was here that the evening veered decidedly toward the grotesque.
Paccheri with seafood arrived in a disharmonious and aggressively salty mess. The creaminess? Absent. The dish seemed to have emerged from a "worst amalgamation of the year" competition. At checkout, I ask the owner for an explanation, and he replies with disarming confidence:
It's normal for them to be a little salty, there's seafood... a statement that, honestly, is an insult to anyone who's even accidentally read the Little Chef's Manual. Because yes, we all know: salt must be measured carefully, especially when working with naturally salty ingredients like seafood.
But it doesn't end there. Two first courses—one for an adult, the other for a child—were completely forgotten. The result? A 30-minute wait while everyone else had already finished eating. Apologies were forthcoming, of course, but given such a poor service, they were the bare minimum.
And then the other first course arrives: a seafood risotto, which, on the nose and in the mouth, was more reminiscent of the "scent of the sewer" than that of the sea. Watery rice, with a few scattered mollusks and pieces of cuttlefish thrown in haphazardly, as if the kitchen had exhausted all its culinary ambitions.
We'll end on a high note with the fried fish: 8 (very small) calamari and an army of mediocre small fish, served in a bath of oil. Forget about crunchiness or lightness: this is pure colatura, greasy enough to make you long for the worst fast food joints.
A shame, really. Because the historical context and location deserved much better. More attentive cuisine, more attentive service, and a minimum respect for the basics of fine dining.
Conclusion? "A Casa Mia" is much better. And as for this restaurant, a careful review of the quality of the ingredients, preparation techniques, and service is not only desirable. My advice: forget it.

I ordered a cake for my 27th birthday. The description I requested was detailed in every detail... I won't go into detail... I ended up with a baptism cake! Decorated with confetti! A disgrace, a ridiculous impression on both the birthday boy and the guests!
Zero professionalism!

The atmosphere is welcoming and familiar, with friendly and helpful staff. The products are made with fresh, select ingredients, and you can feel the love for tradition in the baker's work. I highly recommend trying the homemade bread and freshly baked focaccias. I'll be back soon to try other specialties!"

21/10/2025: I was at this place in June two years ago for lunch. I was passing through after years of not being in the area. I was the only customer, a cute place with bright colors in the Amalfi Coast style, it was very hot but the place was super air conditioned so up to that point we're ok... They don't have a menu so you have to rely on what they list verbally and decide immediately and you can't check the prices. I had a first course that verbally seemed something elaborate and an explosion of flavors but I assure you that for the first time in my life I ate a pasta that tasted of absolutely nothing, a truly surreal experience... nothing at all... For the second course, a tagliata with rocket, parmesan and balsamic vinegar, but I couldn't tell if the meat was quality because it was drowned in balsamic vinegar (I had a stomachache for two days), half a bottle of local red wine and water from the dispenser totaled 35 euros... way too exaggerated!
I also had the impression that they raise prices if they think you were from outside, even though I spent my adolescence in those places.
06/09/2025: We happened upon it by chance. The food was excellent. The lady who served us was friendly and helpful. I'll start by saying that I don't eat pastiera. I tried hers, which was amazing. We'll be back. Thank you so much.

19/10/2025: I didn't like it at all. I had a better memory. I had my twins' christening lunch here on the recommendation of some acquaintances, and it was very good, high quality. I've been there now, and in my opinion, it's gone downhill considerably. The service wasn't bad, but the food was mediocre, even worse. The quality/price ratio was definitely not fair. Also, one thing I hate is the peculiar smells wafting from the kitchen into the dining room. It's definitely an experience I won't repeat.
16/10/2025: Regular customer for decades but every time I return I am amazed by the quality of the products, professionalism, friendliness, welcome all in a place with a fairytale view for me and many other people the number one ever, long live ALOS CLUB

23/10/2025: Change the singer. I've come on Wednesdays several times, but every time it's a tragedy for my ears... it's definitely a great place if you want to discover how much noise can affect taste. After discovering it, I doubt you'll return.
09/10/2025: Nice and small place, the pub side is very characteristic and reminds you of a British style pub, then there is a small room where every evening there is an event ranging from live music to entertainment evenings to all you can eat, the food is quite good, the pizza at least for my tastes I would avoid it

Comenzamos con un aperitivo y bocadillos en la terraza antes de pasar al comedor que está lleno de recuerdos de películas. La lasaña de almendras fue una destacada seguida del tradicional conejo. Estoy seguro de que el desierto era genial, pero las porciones eran generosas, así que no llegamos allí! Sylvia fue un anfitrión fantástico y eligió algunos vinos increíbles, así como compartir algo de la historia de la familia.
Una palabra de advertencia NO siga Apple o Google Maps al nombre del restaurante. Está mal y a kilómetros de distancia. Usa la dirección. Está a 10 minutos de Casamicciola (directo hacia el interior) y no hay nada cerca de Barano!
