13/10/2025: Great location, a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle of Naples. Delicious dishes, small portions but very, very tasty. The service was exceptionally friendly.
12/10/2025: Rather over priced. We were served very tough octopus but only got a half hearted apology. Dishes are generally not as described and clearly unbalanced.

14/10/2025: Specifically had the croissant because it was labeled as vegan and the waiter assured me it was vegan.
I'm lactose intolerant and I can guarantee you absolutely that croissant was not vegan, evident by my trip to the bathroom 20 minutes later. I'm not even sure they understand what vegan meant. Don't come here if you have any dietary restrictions at all. Also the croissant was incredibly mediocre.
12/10/2025: We took advantage of the breakfast offer. The scrambled eggs were tasty, the avocado and salmon toast was so-so considering the price, but the pancakes were very good. Service was okay.

28/09/2025: We went last night and found someone at the entrance who quickly seated us at a table.
After perusing the menu, we began ordering, some appetizers and then sandwiches. The food was good, with excellent quality ingredients and generous toppings. The staff was courteous and attentive.

10/10/2025: The portions are large and the food is delicious...but it doesn't make sense that a restaurant in a tourist area wouldn't have an English menu...reasonable prices. We paid about 160 euros for 2 salads and 4 main courses. We didn't take coffee or dessert. Varied menu (too diverse for my taste)

01/06/2025: Great drinks and great atmosphere with enclosed glass outdoor seating and indoor seating. Service was a little slow for being the only people in there but they were doing some repairs. Would definitely go back and I bet night life here is a blast. Great music playing.

28/09/2025: This little restaurant was a wonderful find and definitely a relief after all the pasta we’ve been eating. It’s run by Bangladeshis and the food is really traditional and authentic such as kala bhuna, ilish, lau. We had rice, paratha and eight dishes between four of us to share. It all came to €46! You pick what you want at the counter and they bring it to you. Lots of veg and meat options. The staff made us feel really welcome. Thank you bhaiyya!
05/07/2025: Noteworthy, the restaurant is not just about rice and meat (and fish for the bengali touch). This is how unfortunately other Indian/South Asian, let alone Bengali restaurants are. Uzzal excels at making delicious vegetarian food too. Try their Sorshe shaak and Dheros curry, start with a piyaji as snack!
They cook some of the fish dishes with vegetables, which is quite remarkable and absolutely authentic.
Edit: did get a food poisoning, most likely from the halim. Do I regret the choice? no.

26/10/2025: I wanted to introduce my celiac son to Neapolitan pizza. His eyes lit up as soon as he saw it, and he said he'd never eaten such a good pizza. Needless to say, the gluten-free pizza is also excellent, both for the dough and the freshness and quality of the ingredients. TOP staff.
