As a pain au chocolat lover, I can say it's the best I've ever had!
It's simply delicious: soft, fragrant, with a balance of flavors that captivates you from the first bite. You can taste the artisanal care and passion in every detail.
One aspect I really appreciated is the attention to ingredients: the pastries are made with a special margarine, which makes them lactose-free, making them light—a perfect choice even for those with lactose intolerances, who can finally choose from croissants and not hope for the usual plain vegan one.
An important detail, which demonstrates sensitivity and professionalism.
The staff is professional and courteous!
My sincerest compliments to the pastry chef: you can see the talent and dedication behind every creation. A true local excellence. It will definitely be a regular stop when I return to Salerno!

The bathroom is accessible via stairs, well-equipped, tidy, and has a lockable door.

22/08/2025: For those who love the sea and tranquility, this is the ideal place. We spent two weeks at this property, and it truly was, for the second year in a row. Eddy and Niky were always kind and helpful, and the rooms were equipped with everything you need. The bar staff and beach service were very welcoming and always available.
The cleanliness of the rooms was truly EXCELLENT. The prices of drinks at the bar were average, as in all the establishments in Marina di Camerota.

20/08/2025: We had a wonderful time, starting from the rooms with all the comforts to the cleanliness. The owners were extraordinary, helpful, and very kind. We stayed 5 days, but I would have gladly stayed longer. We felt so at home... we will definitely be back.

La cameriera sembrava completamente impreparata: non sapeva prendere l’ordine, ha fatto confusione con i piatti e — ciliegina sulla torta — ha fatto il segno della croce dopo aver scritto l’ordinazione. Un gesto davvero fuori luogo, che trasmette tutto tranne che professionalità.
Aria condizionata inspiegabilmente spenta in piena estate, ambiente soffocante e scomodo. I piatti? Semplicemente scadenti: ingredienti mediocri, sapori piatti, presentazione trascurata.
Servizio imbarazzante, cibo deludente, clima invivibile. Non ci tornerò mai più e sconsiglio vivamente a chiunque pensi di andarci.

31/07/2025: The Vulcano Buono shopping center is a large structure that stands out from the majority of ordinary, anonymous shopping centers due to its unique circular architectural structure, which mirrors that of a volcano, even down to the external covering made of real grassy vegetation. At its center is a large, open, circular plaza. The shops are the usual ones found in centers of this type, but to be honest, some brands and brands that are found elsewhere are missing. Many spaces, especially on the upper floor, are empty, giving the overall feeling of being underutilized and undervalued. The initiatives and shows organized are of a good standard, with high-caliber and attractive attendees. Thus, it has great potential and unique features, but at the same time, it has also experienced a certain decline and downsizing, with little diversification and underutilization of the available space, sometimes giving the impression of being empty.

09/09/2025: Not a particularly positive experience. We went for dinner. The food was good, the staff was friendly and helpful. My husband and I had two appetizers where the vegetables were pickled and not grilled as they normally are. The only downside was that my brother-in-law had to wait 50 minutes for his order of "mussel soup." The reason for the delay was due to cleaning the mussels.
We think they lost the order.
07/09/2025: A regular stop on our trips to Mondragone. Delicious pizza and plenty of space for the kids to play outside.

Ristorante Il Covo Di Leo

29/08/2025: Unfortunately, as often happens in the restaurant world today, the wait staff are incompetent, but very good at selling dishes that are presented spectacularly but contain technical errors and incorrect ingredients.
One example was the marrow with truffle, which was presented with a blowtorch to create both a visual effect and, I believe, primarily to create a crust. Then the vendor realized the model was raw underneath, and instead of taking it back to the kitchen, insisted on using the blowtorch, but without achieving the desired result. So he removed it from the bone and tried to spread it on the crostini, but since it was raw, it was a disaster. We asked what had happened to the truffle, and the answer was that since the dish was already acidic and they only had summer truffle, they preferred not to include it to avoid further acidity. I preferred to keep quiet about these considerations, because responding to such considerations becomes complicated.
The first courses arrived within 20 minutes of each other, so one person ate while the other tasted, just to avoid having to watch.
The fries were soaked in oil and almost cooked, and were sent back. They were replaced with more potatoes soaked in oil, but this time cooked.
It's a shame because the first courses were good, but technical and service errors must be avoided, and this is the responsibility of both the kitchen and the person serving the dishes.
Maybe it was just an unlucky evening; however kind they were, it wasn't enough to make my experience positive. I felt very uncomfortable remaining at the table, as I would have had to question almost everything, creating tension at the table.
I won't be returning.
05/08/2025: I spent a wonderful evening there yesterday, August 4th, with my family. The food is divine. I recommend trying the ziti alla lardiata. It's so good I'd like to go back just for that. The bombetta was the best! The owners, what can I say? They know what hospitality means, as do the waiters. I appreciated that they chatted with us. Next time, I'll only eat meat.
