27/10/2025: This was my full-ticket review below, but I'm changing it today because it's impossible for them to celebrate a birthday with just a few people, ordering a 1kg chocolate sponge cake because it's "too small for a batch." So you're forced to invite random people just to have a birthday cake and be their customer, for goodness sake! I've always ordered 1kg chocolate sponge cakes, but this is the first time I've heard that from a pastry shop. Absurd, how humiliating. ----------------- --- Old review: In Lamezia Terme they call them "lady's kisses," throughout Italy they're called "Maddalene." They're delicious. The only negative, for my taste, is that they should reduce the sugar content. They're too sweet. Otherwise, the quality of the products and the hospitality of the staff are good. A great discovery. --- ---------------------- Answer: I NEVER mentioned cm, and she never mentioned it either. She wrote it here to imply I was making absurd requests. I should have had a smaller cake, but I asked for one kilogram, precisely so as not to order "a slice of cake," as she now describes it. I asked for a "chocolate cake," and she replied as the ONLY solution (and not, as she writes, "any suggestion," implying there were many) that the chocolate could only be placed on the writing... So completely off-topic, not even close. I never said you wanted to force me to order a large cake, only that 2+2=4, and it wasn't possible to order a 1kg cake. Don't worry, you'll only lose customers who are celebrating their birthday with a few people and want a chocolate cake, so you'll only lose me. I'm almost an hour's drive from you, so I would have driven the miles. I'm having a hard time understanding why a 1kg white cake is fine, but not a chocolate one, but I think it would have been the same for the white one. If I'd accepted the white one, there would have been a baking problem. Yes, it's humiliating not to be able to order a 1kg cake, and hypothetically, it would cost you, as I've just discovered, €40.00. You should specify in the information that you only make cakes as big as your oven!

14/10/2025: Wow! It's a pleasant stop and a great place for lunch, a coffee break, breakfast, etc.
