23/05/2026: It's now called My Place Café under new management. Excellent aperitif, excellent food. Spectacular almond granita made with real almonds. The staff, especially Matteo, are incredibly kind and welcoming.

31/05/2026: Let me start by saying that I don't usually belittle the work of others, which I actually respect. I hope what I've shared about our experience is helpful in avoiding certain oversights. We went at 9 PM on Saturday without a reservation—like others after us—and they sat us down. We knew there was a wait, and that was no problem.
Between the wait to order and the pizzas (we didn't order anything in advance), we had dinner at 10:30 PM. Meanwhile, people who arrived after us (tables of 2, 3, and 5 like us), without reservations like us, were ordering and dining first, and that's honestly never pleasant.
Let's move on to the pizzas: hard, heavy dough, indigestible. The tomato sauce was incredibly salty. Even when it came to paying, they had a hard time deciding whether to pay with cash or card. Oh well, an unlucky evening.

22/11/2025: The cake was completely different from what I had requested and completely ruined.
14/10/2025: On my way from Puglia, I stopped for a brioche with gelato, drawn by the reviews. The hygiene was poor, the service slow and indifferent. They didn't even clear the table.
The gelato wasn't great, and the brioche was definitely not freshly made. €4 for a brioche was completely unjustified.

17/08/2025: Excellent supermarket, which I also frequent in Parma, but I must suggest turning up the air conditioning, because it was freezing this evening, and such a sudden temperature change is very risky. Other supermarkets in Soverato aren't as cold. I trust you can address this issue, which could be a deterrent for customers. I also suggest thoroughly cleaning the trash cans, which we found dirty, and we've already reported this to the cashier this evening. Thank you.

12/07/2025: An experience not to be repeated at all! Terrible management, we have never seen pizzas brought with fried food. When we pointed this out, the owner's response was that it was not possible to bring them back later. We sent them back asking for them to be remade, and they brought back the same ones reheated. We left but they charged us for the appetizers plus the beers for around 150 euros. Starving, change your profession, catering is not your thing. Failed.

24/11/2025: I used to eat there as a kid when I drove my dad in the summer in the truck!!! I remember when Gennaro's uncle was still alive!!!! A humble and very human person!!! It was the obligatory stop to buy a sandwich to face the journey at the beginning of the week!!! Memories that remain etched in our memory for a lifetime, but unfortunately, they never return!!! Gennaro, come back and open! You were the meeting point for all the travelers who passed through every day and who still continue to travel that stretch of road today!!!

10/09/2025: Amazing spot very interesting name it attracted me to ask for a table for 3, one Local Friend my lady who grew up in beautiful Lamezia and me. FlyFischer (with German "sch", has super professional but easy going Weiters and very kind to us. The burgers were amazing the patatine fritte and wurstel goes perfect with a cold 🍺. Next summer I will return and taste some other burgers. Wished they had a Filiale in Milano.
13/08/2025: In the evening we opted for a sandwich and a beer and landed here!
