Excellent local products, including some from their own farm, are used to create succulent traditional Calabrian sandwiches. Local specialties include cured meats and aged cheeses, as well as prime dried mushrooms.

They deserve more than 5 stars....the sandwich is delicious...all local...cured meats, cheeses...all wonderful....too bad you're so far away :)) A must-see whether you're going to Sila or just passing through.... The owners are very kind....thank you, a wonderful experience.

The ancient Barrese delicatessen is a fine example of Sila tradition. A must-try for stocking up on supplies for a day in the National Park or sampling local specialties. From hot prepared items like sausages, broccoli, or mpacchiuse potatoes to cured meats and cheeses, the quality is excellent. The price is more than fair for the quality and generous portions.
