19/11/2025: Beautiful bar, delicious granitas. One of the tastiest and most well-known ice cream parlors in the tourist town of Napier. It was renovated in 1923 and retains its original features. It's very pleasant to sit outside, in a small square and in a spot where parking is easy.

11/10/2025: Good evening, very disappointing meal... I ordered three half-meter pizzas for takeout... When I got home, I opened them, but the toppings I'd asked for were missing, and the ones I had were paltry. The pizzas were divided incorrectly because the toppings got mixed up throughout the entire pizza. The prices were sky-high, the dough was undercooked, and the vegetables seemed boiled, not roasted... If I can't recommend it to anyone, then I recommend it.

02/09/2025: All things considered, the experience would be positive; the problem is taking one thing at a time. The food is good, but the portions vary depending on who prepares them. The service is somewhat chaotic; a few more people and the situation becomes critical. The space is cramped (there are tables that almost spill out onto the adjacent street...) and the smell is... stomach-churning.

30/08/2025: Fried fish and seafood delicacies prepared with care and using fresh, authentic ingredients. A family-friendly, informal atmosphere. Excellent value.

22/03/2026: I've been to Creperia Il Tulipano and had a really good time. The place is small but cozy, making you feel immediately at ease. The staff is friendly and quick, always available. The crêpes are their strong point: light dough, well-filled, and made with quality ingredients. They have a wide variety, both sweet and savory, so you'll always find something you like. The portions are generous and the prices are fair. I recommend it for a quiet evening or for a sweet treat after dinner. I'll definitely be back.

03/01/2026: Good food, ruined by terrible service. All the dishes I ordered (appetizers, burgers, drinks) were good, although the burgers weren't cooked to the required doneness. Unfortunately, my evening was ruined when a beer was spilled on me, staining my shirt, bag, and cardigan, which were on the chair. When it was time to serve the beers, the waitress was bumped into by the chef (who, sitting behind me and chatting calmly with friends all evening, I assumed was the owner), resulting in the beer being thrown at me, staining the chair and my personal items. The waitress whose beer was unfortunately spilled by her colleague was very polite, attentive when taking orders, and the only one who proved capable of her job, compared to her colleagues. - The two runners behind me had a lot of downtime, and despite the situation, they showed neither interest in the incident nor did they clean up the mess, remaining stationary and unengaged for a long time in front of the kitchen. - The blonde bartender, when the waitress asked her to clean it with a mop, waved her off, expressing disinterest and unwillingness to help her colleague. This resulted in: - A wait of 1.5 hours from the time we sat down at the table until the sandwiches arrived; - A cleaning fee for my personal items (not offset by any discount, other than a few cents on the bill); - isolation for me, due to the fact that the wait for cleaning was at least 20 minutes, while I had moved to the other side of the table, and therefore away from the friends I was sitting next to; - a consequent cursory cleaning of the area where I was sitting; - a deterioration in the mood of everyone at the table. If I were the owner, I would spend more time training the staff, who demonstrate poor teamwork skills, as well as a lack of customer service. The chef/owner didn't apologize or care about the inconvenience caused to either a customer or the affected colleague, and didn't take action to improve the situation, despite hearing our negative comments throughout the evening. I would add that: - the menu is confusing; for example, some burgers indicate fries, others don't; - we requested four 8-piece sandwiches, split in half, but they were all delivered to us split; - A friend requested a change to his sandwich, which was not honored; - The women's restroom cannot be closed. Unfortunately, a dinner that would have been delicious was ruined by a lack of customer service; the only competent waitress was completely abandoned by her colleagues. The order errors were reported to the cashier, but not even the cashier apologized.

08/03/2026: We sat down with the place empty at 7:42 PM. Shortly afterward, we received news that we had to leave by 9:20, so we asked at 8 if the pizza round that had been offered to us for Women's Day could be rushed (since there was no one there). They said yes. Not only did the menu include unlimited pizzas and dessert, but we left at 9 with one pizza for two (to go because it wasn't ready) and no dessert, with a bill of 30 euros with a water 🤣🤣😂😂😂 never again, embarrassing and shameful, and the pizza wasn't even that good.... This and not to mention the fact that he came in after a reserved table that was served before us 🤣🤣🤣🤣

12/12/2025: A charming location, surrounded by greenery, next to a stream, and filled with pure air. The property features a courtyard, a tower offering panoramic views, a central hall with a wonderful fireplace, and simple, clean, and well-maintained rooms. Excellent, locally sourced food prepared by the hostess. Thanks again to Pier's family for their warm welcome and genuine sharing of the time spent together. Kind regards :)
