29/06/2024: Abbiamo festeggiato il compleanno di mia figlia in questo splendido locale. Il personale che ci ha assistito si è dimostrato professionale e molto attento a soddisfare ogni nostra esigenza. Ho approfittato anche dell'occasione per assaggiare un cocktail dalle mani esperte del barman Antonio. Con mia grande soddisfazione mi ha preparato un Long Island tra i più buoni (se non il più buono) finora bevuto. Grazie di tutto, siete stati tutti grandi. Stefano

07/04/2024: Very long waiting times (about an hour and a half) and pizzas that arrived raw and with flour residues that made every bite extremely bitter. They offered to make me a pizza again (and I appreciated that) but honestly I didn't feel like waiting another hour

25/10/2023: For me, the best pizza in Scalea, light dough that doesn't sit on your stomach for days as has happened to me in other places and top quality ingredients. Excellent staff

25/09/2023: Busy place with great pizza. The staff is friendly and confident for good reason in their service. Got there late and still left happy with a Calabrese pie.

24/08/2024: Tonight's dinner is a total failure. At the beginning, we ordered dishes from the menu that the waiter brought us. 40 minutes after placing the order, we learned that these dishes were unavailable. Then we received another handwritten menu from which we placed our order. At 10 p.m. (two hours after placing the order) we received our food at considerable intervals. The behavior of the owner/manager of the restaurant was scandalous - after hearing our comments, he reacted with aggression, threatened the police and told us to leave the premises even though we wanted to pay the bill, also after a long wait and searching for the person responsible for accepting payments. We were regular guests, so we were even more surprised by the ignorance of the staff. I don't recommend it and I will never go there again. Ciao Bambina

20/09/2023: Tavolata di amici, con musica dal vivo. Le pizze, a dispetto della fama del pizzaiolo, erano pessime. Chi ha ordinato la cena "a menù fisso", a base di pesce ( congelato ) è rimasto ancora più deluso, avendo scoperto solo dal conto di dover pagare 40 euro oltre coperto e bevande. Vivamente sconsigliato.

15/09/2023: Sono stata a cena con un amico qualche giorno fa, entrambi abbiamo scelto la selezione di montagna, con suggerimento da parte di Giuseppe. Alla terza portata credevo fosse finito, ma con gran sorpresa sono arrivati i secondi. Delizioso, abbiamo provato una selezione di salumi( senza formaggi per noi per l'intolleranza al lattosio) le tagliatelle con salsiccia e friarelli, i paccheri con crema di zucca e per concludere, carne di suini nero aromatizzato al rosmarino. Tutto buonissimo.

It stands out for the super kindness of the staff, the speed of the service, the quality of the food and always news on the types of pizzas and an extremely honest quality-price ratio. I would have liked not to write this review so as not to find myself not finding a place in the next bookings 🤣🤣🤣😅😅😅 but I couldn't give an honest evaluation to a truly worthy team... keep it up guys and please always find me a place when I call for booking 😅😜

21/08/2024: I'm sorry to say but at least the dishes we took were absolutely not up to the price we paid. The spaghetti with clams was a simple garlic and oil with clams thrown in, no creaming in the clam water, therefore no cream: just oil. The linguine with seafood same problem: no creaming and only oil and cherry tomatoes. The quality of the products was sufficient, but the preparation is not up to current cuisines. Finally, the fried squid: the raw material was always good but the frying was too greasy, the oil dripped. Final verdict: excellent for rich students, with few demands and an iron stomach. Much less for aware adults looking for more than sufficient quality cuisine. Unfortunately, at least for me, I've been trying to digest fried food for 16 hours. They should do an update in the kitchen.

18/08/2024: Place with a nice terrace in the center that we do not recommend: unwelcoming staff, endless waiting (2 hours for a plate of pasta), cleanliness that leaves a lot to be desired and plentiful but not quality food.

06/07/2024: Sulla cucina nulla da dire, ottima come sempre. Ma devono assolutamente rivedere l'organizzazione. Non si può privilegiare la pizzeria da asporto e lasciare in attesa fino alle 10 meno un quarto chi è seduto ai tavoli, consuma tanto altro , e paga il servizio. Ma quale servizio??????

03/06/2024: As a pastry shop, nothing to say but in terms of fairness I must say that we are not there. One piece of advice I can give is to always have you write down the cost of the cakes you order so you don't find unpleasant surprises

05/06/2024: I've been coming to this bar since I was little and I've seen it change over the years. I'm happy that it has reopened after a short period of closure ❤️ Friendly staff and good service, the only flaw is that it closes at around 9pm, now that summer is entering it would be nice if it stayed open longer...

13/05/2024: A sweet and pleasant discovery, in the heart of southern Reggio, we stopped in this bar, first of all a splendid showcase of 100% artisanal pastries with an adjoining ice cream parlor that shone, the staff welcomed us with a smile and friendliness, highly recommended for those who want to be pampered with confectionery specialities.

21/08/2024: I have the impression that this place has a fixed/regular clientele and doesn't particularly like serving tourists, or foreign customers in any case. I say this because when we asked for a table we were told with a scared look "it's all booked". Obviously it wasn't true, and the owner - when he arrived - allowed us to sit (in an empty room, moreover). There was no menu, some pizzas were offered verbally to us. They arrived quickly and were decent, if perhaps a little salty (but this is not a flaw). It should be noted that - a common vice - when paying, the POS didn't work, and so we had to use cash. But this is an old story, unfortunately.

29/08/2024: The place enjoys an enchanting view of Zambrone beach and in the evening you can admire the fabulous sunset and this alone would be a 5 🌟. The spaghetti allo scoglio that we chose was up to par with much more well-known restaurants in the area. The only note goes to the service which could be improved, a little too slow and disorganised, we lose sight of the fact that we are customers, but we forgive ourselves because we are on holiday.

19/08/2024: DON'T STOP HERE! Smelly bathrooms, lacking toilet paper and soap; dirty and needs everywhere...embarrassing! The self-service has poor and greasy dishes. Spoiled fruit. Lazy, rude and inattentive staff. Never been in such a dirty and messy place.

18/08/2024: Too bad that 0 stars is not an option. Cold croissant, lousy coffee, dirty and smelly bathrooms. The prices given at the moment are different from the list: coffee 1.30 euros at the list but 1.50 at the checkout; croissant from 1.50 to 2 euros. Zero organization, after the coffee the water was not served

22/06/2024: Wide selection of beers on tap, enchanting place with a magical environment. With a special children's area, equipped with games and inflatables, excellent for birthdays and families. Excellent pizza, friendly and courteous staff. I will definitely be back!
