I migliori ristoranti in Calabria

31/03/2025: ¡No estoy bromeando! La pizza vegetariana fue la mejor que he probado. Fue difícil decidirse porque todas sus pizzas son originales y tentadoras. Otros en mi grupo pidieron pasta o pescado, y todos disfrutaron inmensamente de sus cenas. Reggio Calabria está muy lejos de California, pero tengo que volver y probar las otras pizzas y entradas para la cena. ¿He mencionado que las cervezas también son maravillosas?

29/12/2024: Prenotazione delle 21.30-21.45 del 28 dicembre. Eravamo un gruppo numeroso e non di Reggio Calabria, quindi siamo venuti apposta per mangiare al Piro Bistrot. Siamo arrivati puntuali e c'è stato da subito detto che il nostro tavolo non era pronto. Abbiamo pensato che fosse questione di minuti. Un'attesa fisiologica tra primo e secondo turno. Non è stato così. Facevano entrare persone anche senza prenotazione segno evidente che volevano riempire le sale a tutti i costi provando poi a trovare una soluzione per il nostro tavolo. Nel frattempo né una parola di scuse, né un trancio di pizza o un bicchierino con il quale scusarsi per l'attesa e ingannare il tempo. Dopo un'ora, intorno alle 22.30, e all'ennesimo "Stiamo preparando il tavolo" ci siamo spostati di qualche metro e siamo andati dai Fratelli La Bufala. Inutile provare a imitare i ristoranti milanesi se si riesce soltanto a mettere qualche luce al neon senza portare avanti la stessa attenzione al cliente. Non posso pronunciarmi sul menu dato che mi è stato impedito di degustarlo. Ma sicuramente non tornerò a provarlo.

04/11/2024: Pizza was delicious, the staff was nice and spoke some English! The only annoying thing is the running TV, which you don't need when you're eating.

27/10/2024: I was very disappointed and we had a very bad experience. They offer you dishes of the day without telling you the price and then present you with a hefty bill at the end. We trusted, this is what we like to do on holiday especially in family-run establishments but it was a huge mistake. Service non-existent but you have to pay 3 euros cover charge per person. The family carries out their life in the restaurant room without leaving any privacy. Breakfast consists of an inedible croissant and a coffee. Bathroom smells everywhere in the facility. Terrible location, not even a sidewalk where you can take a walk.

15/09/2024: If I could I would even give 10 stars…. Grandfather Romolo, grandmother, Mascia and little Martina were like family to us…. Excellent cleanliness and the room was wonderful with a sea view…. Not to mention the relaxing and well-kept outdoor gardens…. In short, even though unfortunately the weather was bad we relaxed and felt really at home... I recommend having dinner at Nonno Romolo whose cuisine is excellent... Thank you for everything you made our week special, we highly recommend it and we will definitely be back!

01/01/2025: Located in the small square in front of the terrace, you go down the stairs to access a suggestive environment with a stone vault. Breathtaking views overlooking the sea from the windows. It offers an à la carte menu and a fixed price menu proposal at 35 euros, consisting of a first course and a second course to choose from among three alternatives. Both menus offer both meat and fish. The fixed price menu proposal is more than satisfactory, therefore: penne with pink prawns from Capo Vaticano, fusilloni with black pig cheek and datterino tomatoes, 2 steaks of grilled swordfish with salmoriglio sauce. Everything excellent; to savor the taste of the prawn it was not necessary to eat it, as it was impregnated with the delicate datterino sauce. The fusilloni are flawless, as are the sword steaks. Attentive and courteous waitress, generous in providing answers to our requests, precise and friendly waitress.

29/12/2024: Pimm’s Restaurant is amazing! A restaurant on your “must do” list while you are in Tropea. The owner is engaging, the food absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere delightful….oh, and the prices are very reasonable.

10/03/2025: I went to this place to have a somewhat disappointing aperitif. Aperitif 12 euros with cocktails (good cocktails, made quite well), but the rest quite lacking. A plate with a slice of ham, a slice of mortadella, two/three croutons (a fairly small slice of baguette), a mini arancino, a mini croquette (perhaps a microscope was needed), then just a few other things that I don't remember, but they are always microscopic stuff. We also ordered a portion of chips, which arrived after about 40/50 minutes. Portion quite rich but chips quite poor. We were forced to move to other places to fill ourselves up a bit. The service was a little inattentive, but this can happen. We had been brought extra spritzes, which were subsequently sent back. I would not recommend anyone to have an aperitif in this place.

23/01/2025: Locale molto elegante e curato nell'arredamento, dispone di tavoli all'aperto e di due sale interne molto grandi. Una sala è destinata a servire aperitivi mentre l'altra è per il ristorante/pizzeria ed è dotata di due maxi schermi su cui vengono proiettati eventi sportivi. Il servizio è eccellente ed il personale è particolarmente professionale. Ho provato la pizza ed è molto buona con ingredienti abbondanti. Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo.

20/04/2025: We had a really good time! The food was excellent, well prepared and plentiful. Each dish surprised us with its freshness and flavor. The staff were very kind, attentive and helpful throughout the lunch. A special thanks also to the owner, welcoming and thoughtful, who at the end of the meal offered us a delicious plate of desserts. A pleasant experience that we happily recommend, we will definitely return!

20/09/2024: Panino nella norma, niente di particolare, tra l'altro stiamo parlando di un minimarket, che diventa abbastanza caro per essere servito seduto in malo modo su uno sgabello ed avere una piccola botte come tavolo. Abbiamo pagato 6 € (eravamo in 4) di servizio alla....botte e non al tavolo, perchè una ragazza si spostasse per circa 4 mt e portasse i quattro panini + due bottigliette di acqua alla .....botte. Nota lieta il personale cortese.

11/09/2024: O sándwich era muito bom, porém o pão era do dia anterior, estava um pouco duro. Nós escolhemos o de nduja com cebola e outro de tomate seco e provoca, muito saborosos.

16/04/2025: Experience to forget. I took friends to dinner, I made a fool of myself because I trusted the reviews. Non-existent service, improvised waiters not to mention the very poor food. Advice if you have to go to the bathroom do it in the countryside. Absent customer care. Advice. Be HUMBLE. I'm changing it so whoever responded is happy.. He writes about a maitre... non-existent! The lady at the house, definitely the owner, once I criticized the behavior of her staff and the whole dinner in general got annoyed. Advice.. if you have weddings or receptions in general invest in staff. Only in this way can you grow. If you want to do it..

15/09/2024: Ci siamo trovati di passaggio di ritorno da Diamante e ci siamo fermati per cena con il bambino. Entriamo e dopo dieci minuti senza che nessuno ci ricevesse arriva il cameriere! Personale educato e gentile per l'amor di Dio. Il locale nulla di chÈ, fermo agli anni 90 ..... ma da molto tempo!!! Vista l'ora ci sediamo e ordiniamo, nel guardare i prezzi a dir il vero ci spaventiamo un pane pizza dai 12 ai 16€, le pizze andavano dalla margherita (se non erro) 6€ ai 16€! Ordiniamo una cotoletta con patatine, una marinara e una diavola con nduja! Ceniamo, arrivano le pizze tutte cornicione, la mia quadrata discrete nulla di particolare x giustificarne i prezzi! La cotoletta era coperta dalle patatine , trovata era una cotoletta piccola anche per un bambino, anche se di pollo vero, ma ciò non ne giustifica il prezzo di 14€. Alla fine vado a pagare La Diavola da 8€ era arrivata a 10,50 (spero per l'aggiunta della nduja) la cotoletta era passata dai 14€ a 16€ ! Pago e non dico nulla non ki andava di fare polemiche! Alla fine 42€ costo per me esorbitante per la quantità e la qualità della materia prima utilizzata! Spero che l'aumento del dei prezzi da me subito in modo ingiustificati aiuti i gestori a migliorare il locale la qualità della roba e del servizio!!

04/09/2024: It offers a wide range of gluten-free products: from fried foods, to second courses, to sandwiches and pizzas. The pizza is very good. For the rolls it is advisable to call and book, as they explained to me that at least an hour of leavening is needed. Otherwise the place is very nice and the staff is friendly and very helpful.

03/12/2024: Un buon ristorante con alcune criticità. 3 euro di coperto mi sembra un po' troppo. Bello il locale e gentilissimo il ragazzo che serve in sala .

29/12/2024: We wait and they waste time Extremely rude and unpleasant owner. We enter at 2pm, a biblical wait to find a table in a semi-empty place, a second biblical wait for the menu which is brought to us after 40 minutes, remembering that in these 40 minutes neither glasses nor cutlery or anything else have arrived. And the owner turns to us as if she were doing us a favor, the same owner who, after making us wait 1 hour after the menu arrived, sees that the waitress arrives to take the order at our table, stops her and orders her to go and order another table seated after us. At which point we got up and went to the cash register to inform them of our exit, the owner replied: "You just wasted our time". Never seen more unpleasant and unwelcoming staff
