02/06/2025: We had dinner in this small, very quiet restaurant where they welcomed us with warmth and treated us with kindness (no longer a given). Unfortunately they got the order of the dishes wrong but it wasn't the end of the world. Anyway, pleasant food between fried dumplings with cold cuts, hamburgers and smoked angus. Small criticism: with almost €17 for a sandwich I expected at least a side of fried potatoes. For the rest, recommended.

16/05/2025: Good hamburger sandwich. Too bad the prices have gone up a lot in the last few years. Last time I spent: hamburger 15 euros, fries 4.5 euros, water 2.5 euros, service 2.5 euros. To replace (not add) an ingredient with another they asked 1.80 euros.

14/05/2025: They had presented it to me in a certain way, but in reality it turned out to be a normal pizzeria, the only peculiar note being the cutting board instead of the plate. The environment is industrial (hence the name workshop) but clean. Prices are higher than average

04/04/2025: Lunch with family, a very pleasant surprise, a giant place with many rooms, to be missed. Since it was Saturday evening and seeing how many people were there, I had already resigned myself to waiting for hours. The pizza arrived after 20/30 minutes with great amazement. Polite and friendly staff, pizza different from the classic ones but very good, it is a very crunchy "Roman" one, it is not the Neapolitan pizza. Excellent account, 5 star value for money. I rated the environment less because it is a nice restaurant but it's not my thing. Overall, if you pass through those parts I can only recommend it and don't give up if there are a lot of people because they are very fast, congratulations on the organization!

02/05/2025: If you are in these parts you absolutely must stop. Friendly and welcoming staff, I felt at home and pampered by the delicacies of this place. Really good food, even better price! The staff was friendly even though we were the last customers to arrive at closing time (maybe I wouldn't have been so nice in their place hahaha).

01/06/2025: I recently visited Vecchia Trattoria del Castello, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service. Excellent appetizers and sublime quality of meat, welcoming and well-kept atmosphere I would recommend this restaurant to all meat lovers and not only since they also offer traditional dishes.

No flaws, no lapses in style: from the warm but polite welcome of the hostess, to the view that fills your eyes and heart, to the furnishings, which are modern but far from cold, to the professionalism and attentive but without affectation courtesy and, certainly not least, to its majesty: the meat (let us be allowed a joke... a place where vegetarians and vegans could convert!). Those who come this far, a pitch above Venasca at the entrance to the Varaita Valley, should not expect a rich menu. Some appetizers, no first course, two side dishes and three desserts. But everything is delicious, of excellent quality, like the meat, which is the true and authentic protagonist of this restaurant with an appreciably mono-directional vocation. Selected and valuable cuts, particular maturation, rigorously grilled cooking according to an impeccable protocol of its kind and well illustrated to diners. We had a wonderful time: a place that makes you feel good and where you certainly want to return. The price is in line with the quality of the proposal and which we considered correct. We recommend it to all those who love meat with a capital C, tranquility and know how to distinguish and appreciate beauty, in the variety of forms in which it can manifest itself.

06/04/2025: It was my husband and I last night. Beautiful place, welcoming and very clean. Suggestive panoramic view. Equipped with a beautiful, very well-kept outdoor terrace. The menu is mainly based on very fine cuts of meat, cooked strictly on the grill produced from precious woods. The expert hand that carries out the perfect cooking is that of Davide, Cristina's husband and co-owner of the restaurant. The service is personally supervised by the young owners, who are very knowledgeable and professional. Of which their surprising friendliness also stands out. Prices in line with the quality of the products. We will definitely be back. !

12/05/2025: Cozy place in the heart of Ovada, in a really pleasant square, perfect for outdoor lunches or dinners. The menu is varied: pizzas, burgers, wraps, salads... I tried the pizza and it was really good, with fresh and tasty ingredients! A nice and well-kept place, which I gladly recommend to anyone passing through Ovada!
