22/07/2025: In the center of town... close to everything... top-notch hotel: cleanliness, service, and professionalism are excellent. As for the restaurant, it's truly excellent... from the pizza to the grilled meats, everything cooked in a wood-fired oven. Their specialty, the ula al furn, is a must-try, made the way it used to be... excellent value for money... in short, if you're in the area, don't hesitate to stop by.

20/07/2025: Clean rooms, super helpful staff, quality restaurant attached, à la carte restaurant prices even for those staying... If you are a tourist something more than the regular guests of the hotel.

29/07/2025: We stopped for lunch on the way to Tropea. We ate deliciously in a very friendly, welcoming, and relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended.

07/07/2025: Great home cooking right off the highway. Friendly and helpful owner. The sausage was great and the pasta was good. Fair prices.

19/08/2025: We went there on the August bank holiday weekend. It was scorching hot inside. They placed us near the kitchens, which had the door open. After asking several times for a solution that wouldn't make the dinner a nightmare because of the heat, but they couldn't find a solution, we left halfway through the meal.

07/08/2025: Disappointed for ruining my brother's wedding, 120 guests. They didn't keep the agreements made, the tables were half-served, you were repeatedly urged to get drinks. The agreement was that appetizers should have been served, we didn't even see a trace... for the vegetarians they had no alternative but some boiled and grilled vegetables without seasoning, the children who asked for a plate of pasta were brought a plate of spaghetti with garlic. The owner's wife is rude and arrogant in my opinion... at a certain point because they had evening service they removed some chairs and glasses from the tables still with guests present and completely abandoned us... really disappointed, thank you for ruining a special day for my brother 🤬

04/08/2025: A beautiful place with the option of making many gluten-free combinations. I'm celiac and have a very low gluten tolerance, so the slightest contamination makes me very ill. I can say they're extremely professional and honest in telling me what we can and can't eat! You can even choose different types of bread! And all-you-can-eat meat! Beautiful!! ❤️

Birra media e acqua e speso 32 euro direi veramente onesti, da ritornarci sicuramente

12/05/2025: Cozy place in the heart of Ovada, in a really pleasant square, perfect for outdoor lunches or dinners. The menu is varied: pizzas, burgers, wraps, salads... I tried the pizza and it was really good, with fresh and tasty ingredients! A nice and well-kept place, which I gladly recommend to anyone passing through Ovada!

27/07/2025: Stay away from this place... unfortunately, we had lunch yesterday at this place where the waiters almost seem annoyed by my presence. I ordered a sandwich, asking for the caramelized onion to be omitted. It arrived, and upon taking a bite, I noticed the onion was there. I called the waitress I'd placed the order with, who was as lively as someone in a mortuary. I explained what had happened. She took the sandwich away and brought it back less than 2 minutes later with the same part I'd bitten off and full of sauces (which, according to the kitchen whiz kids, were supposed to cover up the onion flavor). I called the waitress back, pointing out that it was the same sandwich, and she swore it wasn't. Her colleague approached me, trying to make a complete lie and offering to exchange it for me. Fine, I agreed... but basically, I received a sandwich with the same slices of chicken, smoked scamorza, and lots of sauce inside. I was sure they were the same because the fried food was impregnated with the smell of caramelized onion, which I don't like and bothers me. I only eat it to avoid any fuss, hoping it doesn't cause any problems. Bottom line: I was sick until last night. Stay away... you risk getting sick. The worst of the chain.

27/07/2025: I was drawn to this place by the good reviews. It's rather unassuming from the outside, but tidy and quite nice. The place has personality, good music (alternative rock), and even better steaks. The meat is served very rare on a hot stone and continues to cook there. This way, it's not too rare or too well done; everyone can leave their pieces on as long as they like. It was delicious, and the service was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend it.

11/07/2025: Da qualche tempo volevamo ritornare in questa Steak House di livello ed abbiamo approfittato di una fresca e tranquilla serata nonché di una bella offerta . Provata una Manzetta Scozzese davvero ottima per frollatura,sapore e cottura e mia moglie un tris di carni il tutto bagnato con una fresca Sangria. Servizio puntuale e cortese, torneremo a breve con amici e più appetito.

02/08/2025: Excellent restaurant! The menu offered a wide selection of different meats. The food was brought to our table quickly, and we enjoyed the beautiful view of the golf course during our meal. The service was very friendly, and they did their best to use their English. We would love to return!

16/08/2025: First and last time at this place. As soon as I sit down, I notice the dirty table... I'll overlook that! The conversation was okay, decent, but nothing amazing. Then the octopus with potatoes arrived: it was "mushy" and the potatoes were in non-existent pieces (it was a kind of puree). The chicken was so dry and so sour all night that I couldn't digest it. The fried fish wasn't very dry, and what's more annoying, all the shrimp were still in their innards. It was inconvenient to have to clean them one by one... I mentioned this at the counter, but they were rather indifferent. The side vegetables were left on the plate (potatoes soaked in oil, pitiful grilled vegetables). We didn't order any other dishes for obvious reasons. The chairs were very, very uncomfortable. I really don't understand how those who gave 5 stars used their rating criteria! The ladies in the dining room were really nice and kind: for them alone, I'd give 5 stars.

05/07/2025: We stopped here by chance on the way to Germany. It looks a bit strange from the outside, but it's okay inside. There's a family area with a bouncy castle and a quieter area. We just returned from a trip around Italy, and this was the best pizza. I also like crispy pizza with a thin crust. The staff was very friendly and even spoke English with us. So if you're looking for a stopover and want to eat delicious pizza, this is the place.
