04/04/2025: Qué gran hallazgo en Florencia. Nos encanta la comida italiana, pero después de 10 días de almuerzo y cena italiana queríamos una comida americana causal. DJÀRIA es exactamente lo que necesitábamos. Buena comida, música impresionante, y el personal. Si viviera aquí, sería mi lugar de reunión.

18/04/2025: Ciudad de México – Florence, IT Vibras americanas con alma local Si estás paseando por Florencia y buscas un lugar para brunch que combine comida reconfortante de estilo americano con un toque de encanto italiano local, Rooster Café es una apuesta sólida, pero prepárate para esperar. Llegamos para encontrar una larga fila afuera. Avisos: no aceptan reservas, por lo que se llega por orden de llegada. Esperamos unos 50 minutos antes de sentarnos. El lugar en sí no es grande, pero tiene un ambiente acogedor, relajado y que hace la espera un poco más llevadera. El menú es impresionantemente variado, apoyándose en gran medida en los alimentos básicos de brunch americanos, sin dejar de ofrecer algunas opciones italianas aquí y allá. Pedimos un poco de todo: un café con leche, café americano, batido Detox, el desayuno inglés y el showtopper — “Stoners” (gofres, pollo, guac, tocino, huevos y queso). Todo salió bien. Los sabores eran sólidos — yo calificaría la comida con un 8 sobre 10. No importa - soplando, pero definitivamente satisfactorio y bien ejecutado. Las porciones son generosas, así que ven con hambre. El servicio fue súper rápido una vez que entramos, y nuestra camarera era increíblemente amable y atento — grito para ella por mantener las cosas fluyendo sin problemas. Los baños estaban limpios, lo que honestamente dice mucho sobre cómo dirigen el lugar, e incluso cuando nos fuimos, la fila afuera no había cejado. Esa suele ser una buena señal. En resumen: Si te parece bien esperar un poco y desear un delicioso brunch estilo americano en Florencia, Rooster Café merece la pena. Gran servicio, platos sabrosos y un ambiente frío una vez que esté dentro. Solo tienes que llegar temprano o estar listo para hacer cola, porque no serás el único que intente entrar.

We arrived to find a long line outside. Heads up: they don’t take reservations, so it’s first come, first served. We waited around 50 minutes before we were seated. The place itself isn’t big, but it has a cozy, laid-back atmosphere that makes the wait a little more bearable. The menu is impressively varied, leaning heavily into American brunch staples while still offering some Italian options here and there. We ordered a bit of everything: a Latte, American Coffee, Detox Smoothie, the English Breakfast, and the showstopper—“Stoners” (waffles, chicken, guac, bacon, eggs, and cheese). Everything hit the spot. Flavors were solid—I’d rate the food an 8 out of 10. Not mind-blowing, but definitely satisfying and well-executed. Portions are generous, so come hungry. Service was super quick once we got in, and our waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive—shoutout to her for keeping things flowing smoothly. 04/05/2025: Comimos aquí dos días seguidos deseosos de probar otros platos en el menú (gracias a Pietro y el equipo) que nos sirvió deliciosa comida local fresca y acompañó sugerencias de vino hechas para una experiencia gastronómica agradable!

02/05/2025: Nous sommes arrivés un peu tard pour l’Italie mais l’accueil a été chaleureux et avec beaucoup d’humour. C’était très très bien, avec une nourriture soignée et très bonne. Un peu cher, mais nous conseillons une belle adresse avec de la bonne musique des années 80 en fond musical. tutto va bene

19/04/2025: Ci siamo recati in questo locale il giorno del mio compleanno. Abbiamo domandato al personale, composto da ragazze giovani e gentili, un accendino per poter accendere una candelina portata da me. Si sono subito mobilitate e si sono anche offerte di scattarci delle foto. Per quanto riguarda il cibo abbiamo optato per una colazione dolce, gradita da entrambi. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

19/04/2025: Cafè le vespe is a very modern brunch cafe in Florence. Although we arrived about 10 minutes after the store officially opened (according to Google Maps), we still had to wait about 5 minutes until it actually opened. However, if you came later, as we observed, you could wait on the other side of the street until a table became available. The staff seemed very friendly and accommodating. The only deduction for the service is because we had to wait quite a long time to be served, while the other guests who had arrived at the same time were already getting their food. But the food was very tasty, as was the coffee. Only the pancakes were a bit dry. So if you don't come shortly after the store opens, you have to expect a waiting time. Still a wonderful cafe with delicious food.

03/03/2025: It loses a star only on the environment which may raise some doubts, with the choice of the fake citrus pergola, for the rest it is passed with flying colours, both for the friendliness of the staff and for the quality of the food. We opted for a fish-based dinner and I confirmed the impression of the first time I was there for a dinner with colleagues. The pictures speak for themselves, while I can only tell you about the excellent flavours. We will be back for sure.

22/04/2025: Wine bar with a small menu and little for vegetarians. I myself had Baccalà as a cartoccio, cod/cod with chickpeas in an aromatic broth, without any bones. Served in baking paper, a little too cool, unfortunately the plate was not preheated. The preparation was explained to me in detail in advance. Very aromatic and recommended. Priced in the midfield, Coperta is shown on the outside of the menu. One should not forget the high concessions for outdoor areas in Lucca, which have been drastically increased, especially in the Anfiteatro area.

09/04/2025: YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS CHICKEN! I'm not exaggerating when I say it's one of the best fried chicken I've ever had. Juicy, crunchy and full of flavor. The service and its people are very friendly.
