18/06/2025: Location in a historic villa, the restaurant is elegant and refined. The variety of the à la carte menu of both meat and fish certainly offers the customer the tranquility of having a wide choice. Suitable for events and weddings and birthdays and business lunches/dinners certainly. I was there for the wedding anniversary: ​​we were in a romantic corner... shame for 4 excited people in a business dinner who in addition to having the tone too high because they thought it was just them... next time I will ask to be careful about this.

25/06/2025: It is customary for each teacher, in turn, to bring something to nibble on to lighten the burden of the State Exams. This morning it was my turn, and I already had an idea: the La Crème pastry shop, which some friends had spoken highly of. I arrive, order 6 brioches and ask for them to be cut in half to make it easier to share. The girl at the counter hesitates at first, then agrees to my request spontaneously. When it is time to cut the last brioche, one of the pastry chefs appears (I assume he was also the owner of the shop), and approaches the waitress to admonish her, in front of all the customers. I immediately take the girl's side, so kind in accepting my request. Package ready, I remember my order at the cash register: 6 brioches and 3 small pastries. I am corrected by the owner: 12 small brioches and 3 small pastries. When I asked for an explanation for that wording (and the related bill), the owner replied, in a firm and polemical tone, that: 1 - the brioches can only be cut in the laboratory, and not at the counter 2 - The cutting of the brioche is extra time and work that the customer has to pay for. Fearing that I had not understood, I asked if they were really making me pay for the cutting of the brioches. Given the firmness with which the owner confirmed, I avoided specifying that I had not bought the small brioches due to lack of variety, and certainly not to save a few euros. I paid and went back to school, where I recounted the episode amidst the astonished and compassionate looks of all my colleagues and staff. I would like to focus on two elements: the lack of tact towards his employee, and the lack of transparency regarding the price of the "services" offered to the customer (including the luxurious incision of the brioche): no one told me that I would have to pay for the cutting. I would add that it had never happened to me anywhere else. I thank the owner of La Crème for giving me my "first time", and for the multisensory experience of leaving a pastry shop with a bitter taste in my mouth. And I thank the me of this morning for not asking to have the 3 pastries cut too.

20/06/2025: Delicious brioche, delicious chantilly cream, delicate pistachio on the palate, wholemeal with berries and then the cake! How delicious! I had asked for a king cake covered in fruit and instead it was only put there for decoration. My disappointment was first handled by the pastry chef, giving me a discount, and this is commendable (even if I wanted to pay his price), and then once I tasted it, I changed my mind. It was delicious! Even friends liked it. And it was beautiful to look at. The Crème pastry shop is a certainty! Thank you for the professionalism and courtesy shown to me.❤️

A cuisine rich in genuine products and local flavors where there is no lack of creativity and the ability to continually renew itself. The strong point of the menu is the homemade pasta made daily and the wild herbs grown directly by the chef. Wide and varied choice of wines. Attentive service

06/06/2025: A truly pleasant evening in this iconic venue in the historic center of Padua. Elegant furnishings, an upright piano, a counter that smells of history. The manager welcomes us, kind and professional. The dining room staff is "female-driven". We are seated at a beautiful table with excellent classic tablecloths, far from the modern amenities that are rampant in many restaurants today. I start with the two cod, the creamed one (spectacular) and the fried one. My wife had the cooked appetizers, well made and plated. I then continued with a light fried dish with high-quality raw materials, while my wife chose a John Dory fillet. All truly memorable. Closing with an exquisitely vintage dessert, the zuppa inglese that took me back to Christmas lunches with my mother. Absolutely proportionate prices. Truly excellent experience. Pet friendly.

08/06/2025: I had the best pistachio croissant ever here! It was so good, so fresh and simply delicious! I’ve had many pistachio croissants, but this was the best one! I tried it fresh from the oven, it was so warm and so delicious. Also the coffee here is great too! I recommend!

The magic is not only given by the creams, the brioches and the desserts that are as excellent as the ingredients used but by the people who welcome you in the pastry shop. Alessandro, Flavia and Talita always have a smile, a kind word and, despite there being moments of strong influx and requests from more people, they offer you with promptness and professionalism what you have requested. They are a precious value of this pastry shop!. Experience the magic of this place, outdoors or indoors. You will never leave it!

06/05/2025: La pasticceria Prosdocimi è eccezionale per le creme (dalla pasticcera alla chantilly). Brioche deliziose, morbide, saporite ma leggere. Consiglio di farsi consigliare dai pasticceri per le torte che ordinando per tempo verranno fatte su misura per voi. Consiglio la Paris-Brest ma anche la millefoglie, diplomatica e tutti i lievitati. Unica pecca è la location, da svecchiare, e la poca innovazione (anche se non compromette l’ottima qualità)
