The food was delicious, authentic and fresh. The place has a great charm – it’s not all polished up for tourists, but genuine, local and simply good! Genuine and delicious: highly recommended!

02/06/2026: Beautiful place, served by the owners who are attentive to every need. Excellent quality Neapolitan and Venetian cuisine. Dishes are served with the soul of the owner, and the desserts, including those homemade, are exquisite. Limoncello and Nocciolino liqueurs abound, including those made by the owners. The staff are proud of their work and very friendly, the whole family serving their motorcycle business. Considering its target market, price, and quality, it undoubtedly deserves five stars with honors. To improve: coffee ☕

02/05/2026: We've been in the Veneto for the past month and I had the best meal I've eaten since we arrived - branzino with roasted vegetables. It was perfectly cooked, the vegetables were crispy with herbs and lemon juice and it was not very expensive. The cook here is fabulous.

The quality and variety of cicchetti, the generous platters featuring unique products (such as cheeses), the wine selection, and the option to choose something other than wine are excellent. A quiet spot for a good aperitivo or a tasty dinner.

06/05/2026: My wife and I chose Osteria Trefanti following a very strong personal recommendation, and after we both had read numerous excellent reviews about the restaurant. I had made an online reservation with Osteria Trefanti about three weeks in advance of my wife's and my visit, and ended up being glad I had done so. With only ten tables, it’s an intimate room, and we were very lucky to be seated by the window. Diego warmly welcomed us to Osteria Trefanti, and within a couple minutes was pouring glasses of Prosecco for us. Diego managed a full dining room with impressive calm and attentiveness. Every dish my wife and I ordered was truly exceptional - wonderfully fresh (sourced daily from the Rialto Market), and expertly prepared. Chef/Owner Umberto’s passion shows in every plate. This was one of the "standout" dining experiences during our seven trips to Venice since 2007. We enjoyed our dinner at Osteria Trefanti so much that we plan to return before leaving Venice. Highly recommended.

29/04/2026: Why This Restaurant Surprised Me More Than Any Other Gnocchetti with anchovy and cinnamon! A truly outlandish yet brilliant creation, something to try if you’re on the adventurous side. Having said that, everything we ordered was wonderful, along with friendly attentive service. We even got to meet the chef at the end of our delicious meal. This is a small restaurant of exceptional quality. I suggest booking ahead to make sure you get to experience it. We opted for a primi, secondi each and shared dessert. The Panna Cotta was heavenly and we could/should have had one each! We will be returning here on our next trip to Venice.

06/05/2026: A delightful trattoria in the center of Vicenza, just a few minutes' walk from the Basilica Palladiana. This historic trattoria is recommended; reservations are recommended, otherwise you won't find a table. I had the bigoli with Vicenza-style cod, which was truly delicious. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

28/04/2026: We wanted to try this place because it's known for its beers. We were greeted by a friendly young man/man/owner who was very helpful in explaining which beers would suit our tastes. We ended up ordering two sandwiches. The food was beautifully presented, and the sandwiches were very tasty and filling. What really surprised us was their take-out service. They have a machine that cans whatever beer you want. Of course, these are all beers you won't find in 99% of other places. Even though we live far away, we'll definitely be back.

08/05/2026: Al Crot has been my favourite restaurant in Italy so far. After visiting Rome, Naples, and Florence, this place was truly extraordinary. The service was friendly, quick, and welcoming, even though we don’t speak much Italian. The food was absolutely the star of the show. My boyfriend and I loved every single dish we tried so much so that we came back the next night for dinner just to explore more of the menu. The portions were generous, the flavours were authentic, and everything was genuinely amazing. To top it all off, the atmosphere was cozy, warm, and inviting. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the Dolomites!
