03/03/2026: A tiny but very cute place with unique draft beers and an endless selection of bottled beers. I drank a very good chestnut ale. The atmosphere is informal and friendly, like being at a friend's house. There's no menu, but you can bring your own food or order something from the street. A great compromise between a small place and great options. Worth a visit.

04/01/2026: We spent New Year's Eve at the old cellars of Chianni, taking advantage of a three-day package that also included a New Year's Eve dinner. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the kind Alessio, who assigned us two very spacious and welcoming rooms on the first floor, with vaulted ceilings and comfortable beds. On the evening of the dinner, the dining room was beautifully decorated and the food was abundant, with well-prepared meat and fish, using excellent ingredients, and including high-quality local drinks. The evening was enlivened by Andrea's live music, with the option of requesting songs from a wide selection thanks to the QR code left on the tables, allowing everyone to listen to their favorite hits. The breakfast buffet was also excellent, with a wide selection of sweet and savory options. We were traveling with our Cocker Spaniel, who was made very welcome. Thanks to the courtesy of the staff, the authenticity of the property, the cleanliness of the rooms, and the quality of the restaurant, we had a truly pleasant stay that allowed us to explore the Valdera, with Chianni as our base. We will return in spring to enjoy new shades of color on these rolling hills.

15/03/2026: Last night we celebrated my daughter's 22nd birthday. Romina made me an extraordinary cake for the occasion, obviously delicious and stunning to look at. As always, during the preparation phase, we found a welcoming atmosphere, with kind, friendly, helpful, and very professional staff. Romina is truly amazing!!! ❤️

07/01/2026: You'll immediately find a friendly, family atmosphere, excellent and fast service, and plentiful, fresh dishes! A large screen for watching the games (Naples is the star). The staff were friendly and helpful right from the start. We called to make a reservation, and since we're new to the place, they sent us their location on WhatsApp and reserved a quiet spot. And by the way, there's a large parking lot that's always available! (There are a few potholes too many for my low-slung car!). Thank you so much.

20/11/2025: Enoteca is a great wine store in the heart of old town Pisa. We purchased wines for our son’s wedding weekend, and Salvatore was very, very friendly, helpful and accommodating. He suggested wines that were fantastic, and offered to deliver them to us in Gello, which really helped us. His recommendations were perfect and we had many guests remark on the quality of the wines he suggested. Great service, great selection, and great value is what Salvatore provides. Thank you! We will return!

18/10/2025: Nice selection of refined labels, you can also find some lovely gems and products that are hard to find elsewhere. The prices are very fair. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable! 🍷

08/03/2026: A PLEASANT DISCOVERY JUST A STEP FROM HOME Just a stone's throw from my house, there's this wonderful place, welcoming, and tidy in every way. The owners are wonderful, the food is EXCELLENT, the service EXCELLENT, the place has a warm atmosphere, like being at home... I congratulate you for having brought this place back to life. Today, my husband, my son, and I came for lunch, and we were so thrilled that we decided to celebrate our son's First Communion here. You deserve the best. Luisana, you're amazing, and the chef is super 👏👏👏

21/01/2026: In Tuscany for work, I tried several places in the surrounding area until I stumbled upon Sottobosco. There's no comparison, and I haven't changed. The restaurant is clean and well-kept, and in the warmer months it has a large, green outdoor area—it's wonderful. The welcome and service will make you feel at home, friendly and kind. The restaurant offers a menu of meat and seafood dishes. I've tried everything, and I must say the quality of the ingredients is excellent, everything cooked to perfection! The price is more than fair—highly recommended!

19/02/2026: We went on a Sunday, and despite it being fully booked, the service was courteous and fast. The food was good, and they even catered to me, as I'm celiac. Excellent value. We'll be back.

I just went to the pastry shop, I ordered some pastries to go, she told me €7.20, I asked if I could please have a small bag, she corrected it to €7.30, I paid, she left me a paper bag with the pastries and bag aside, I was wearing a helmet and gloves under my arm, I tried to bag them myself... I would like to be treated like a customer!!!! It should be a pleasure, but instead I left feeling disappointed.
